I couldn't decide between Steamy and Surreal. Shimmermoss is right in between the 2. Gorgeous mermaid green/blue. Not too dark, not too light. But unfortunately, despite being a veluxe pearl, this is SO hard! You practically have to dig in the pan to get any color on your brush. This went back to Mac. :(

This color is beautiful! I am in a green e/s phase right now and this is one of my faves. To me it is very similar to Aquadisiac (which I also own) but love it anyways. I like to wear this with Deep Truth.

I really like this eyeshadow. It looks great alone, but probably needs to go over a base for less creasing. The Hard Candy glitter eyeliner in "sky" really compliments this eyeshadow, too. I really want to work with it more.

Beautiful Mermaid Torquoise. It's very emerald greeny, as opposed to blue-ish, and I absolutely adore it. It's layerable, so it doesn't have to be very bright, and IMO will look great on anyone. I don't think that it's too shimmery. A MUST-HAVE for its beautiful colour, and texture.

I really dont know what I was thinking while buying this hidious e/s, I think this is like a 60's e/s. I cant even picture myself blending it with others to try to make it look good because I doubt that any other e/s looks good with this one! Maybe I'll give it to my aunt who is 53 years old, she'll probably like it.....

I really heart this color. Some say it's comparable to Steamy, but I say no way. This is a veluxe pearl e/s, is very blendable and the color is indescribably beautiful. The shimmer in this green is almost holographic, the color is comparable to the green in a peacock tail feather. It is not for the meek, this color. It is bright and vivid, somewhat like when a dewdrop falls on an emerald and gives it dimension.

I love this color!!! This is probably the only blue e/s that I can get away with...well the only blue e/s that I don't feel foolish wearing. It goes so well with so many different e/s's. I wear this in the inner corner, lower lash line, outer corner, in the crease..no matter where I place it, it looks so good! And of course the VP formula is a dream since it's so smooth and soft to apply. This is definitely a favorite out of the many blue e/s's that I own: steamy, aquadisiac, parrot, belle azure, etc. Will definitely buy again if I ever hit the pan!

Oh boy, this is gorgeous. If you like teals, go for it. The iridescent shimmer is just to die for. Looks wonderful on. I find it looks different than Tres Teal- much bluer and no gold sheen. I love them both. A great buy. Lovely with brown eyes. I absolutely LOVE both Tres Teal and this one paired with Bourjois eyeshadow in Rose Tentation, which is an iridescent gold/green with pink base.

This is a beautiful colour - a pale, shimmering bluey-green colour. It is easy to apply and blends beautifully. I wear a very sheer application with Tealo powerpoint - you can build up loads of colour with this and get a more vibrant bluey-green if that's your thing.

Wow!!!! Beautiful color, well pigmented and beautiful shimmer. Your eyes really get noticed when you wear this one. It's also very easy to apply and you don't need much to get a beautiful result. I agree with the other ladies: run and get it.

Part of the new veluxe collection released oct 2004. Shimmermoss is a shimmery teal color. it is almost an aqua color with hint of green to it. It is similiar to alot of teal colors out there. Comes in a pro palette pan or pot and is a permanent part of the mac collection. These last all day without creasing and go on very smoothly.

I tested this color out on my hand at MAC and it looked completely identical to De Menthe, which I already own and is one of my favorites. I skipped out on this one but if you don't have De Menthe I suggest getting it because both are beautiful shades of teal green, and the new Veluxe Pearl formula is absolutely amazing. I am LOVING the texture of these.

One word: STUNNING. Drop whatever you're doing right now, and RUN to the MAC store to purchase this shadow.
Shimmermoss is a gorgeous, almost mermaid-green with the perfect amount of shimmer. The new veluxe pearl formula is incredibly smooth to apply. I wore this shadow yesterday with Cornflower pigment, and I received so many compliments on my eye makeup! This shadow is definitely my favorite of all the Veluxe Pearls.

Shimmermoss isn't exactly a 'mossy' colour. It's actually strikingly similar to either mineralized Tres Teal or even Steamy frost e/s, though it may be a smidge more green than Steamy. I swiped all three on my hand at the store and they're all very close.
The texture is gorgeous! Silky smooth shimmer, almost creamy in feel. If you like aquas, this will be a favorite.

The veluxe pearl formula is terrific. They are very well pigmented and not shimmery. This is a very fine sheen, no glitter! Shimmermoss is the most perfect mermaid green. Not childish turquoise, but grown-up glossy mermaid. This is fairly similar in shade to tres teal mineralized shadow
