GRRRR! lol...that was implying that i hate it =). i dont know why i got this cause my hair really isnt that frizzy or dull or whatever, but i did haha. my hair got soooo greasy from it, like as if it wouldnt wash out completely and left a layer of oil. the smell wasnt even as good as the other garnier shampoos, in my opinion. the packaging was rather cute but that wont do it for me. im sticking to my herbal essences! good luck girls! maybe my results were just bad boooo lol =(

I also bought a huge bottle at Costco and the conditioner too. I love it; I have moderately wavy frizzy hair. It does smooth away all frizzies but you have to really wash it out or you’ll get build-up on your scalp and it could make your hair look greasy at the roots. But if you rinse it out really well you shouldn’t have a problem with that. It smells nice too. I will continue to buy the huge tubs from Costco.

I bought a huge bottle of this at costco, so I feel kind of obligated to use the entire bottle. This would probably work better for someone that has thick frizzy hair, because this just made my hair nasty. After an hour after washing my hair, my hair was greasy and gross feeling. Maybe the sheer version would be better for me, but I don't think I would buy it. Blah.

This product does work as advertised. It smooths and shines fairly well, but leaves my roots feeling waxy. Don't even think about going a day or two without washing, because your scalp will either flake or turn into a greasy mess. I had assumed this product would also moisturize, in conjunction with the conditioner, but instead it leaves my ends coarse and brittle. It isn't so horrible that I'd throw out the bottle, but I won't be purchasing this again. The upside is that it's cheap!

LOVE LOVE THIS. Definitly makes my hair so smooth. Tames frizzies like no other. Makes my hair feel weightless and full of body. Its like shampooing with serum is the best way I can put it. Sometimes my hair doesnt even need conditioner after this. Smells yummy too. Everytime I buy this I get the family size even though its just for me, I love it so.

made my hair sleek and smooth --like it claims. but it smells kind of weird to me. not like the original fresh crisp garnier scent. and it makes my hair oily by the end of the day.

I'm giving this a 2 only because it made my hair really shiny when used with the conditioner. I hate the smell, it's not what I want my hair to smell like! To me it smells like plant soil. It's cheap, which is a plus. I will use this up, and never buy again. Probably will go with Pantene ice shine :)

O-kay, so I have grown up on Garnier. I have used most of their hair products for years and years! And then I recently found out about all of the potentially hazardous chemicals in their hair products. So while the products usually work for me, I just have to switch to other products with less chemicals.

I know that a lot of people don't care what kinds of shampoos or other hair products they may be using, but shampoo has a lot of chemicals that may or may not be absorbed into the skin to begin with. It's hard to go completely organic with my products, but I would at least like to find a product (like Tom's of Maine shampoos) that cuts out unnecessary and potentially toxic ingredients.

So I'm not going to lecture about how you should be looking at the ingredients in your bathroom products, but this is something I personally feel very strongly about, especially because I have very sensitive skin. No more Garnier for me! There are other products that work just as well, but are a lot safer.

The cap is a pain to open first of all. That stinks. But It leaves my hair shiny and frizz free ALL DAY! even in humidity. I love it. But another thing I don't like is the consistency is thick and heavy and leaves my hair feeling like it has a coating on. I can't use it everyday because of this. My hair doesn't feel clean..but don't get me wrong..the stuff works!

This product didn't really do anything for me. The smell didn't even last very long. My hair was still frizzy and poofy. But I do have to say that this left my hair healthy.

it is cheap and smells great. But it didn't leave my hair as they say "sleek and shine" . This product just cleans you hair , that is it!

I have normal/oily hair. I've used this off and on for a bout 2 years already. Even so I'm always on the look out for something better I guess, but I kept coming back to this. PROS:My hair always came out very shiny and less frizzy. Just like what it's suppose toCONS:The conditioner is useless. The fragrance for the shampoo is okay, nothing nice but the smell of the conditioner is horrid! It reminds me of some watered down glue and the conditioner will run out faster than the shampoo. I found that if I wanted my hair to feel soft at all, I'd have to leave the conditioner on for hours. You're better off buying the little round tub of the "5 minute deep conditioner" which has a totally different smell, like mango and keeps your hair silky the whole day. The only downer with this is that you can only get 5-6 uses out of the tub. It's so small! I'm currently using Herbal Essence Citrus Uplift and it's much better... also my hair falls out less which is a big plus!

I got this just because it was cheap, but i dont regret it. ive only used it 3 times & already my hair is softer, smoother, & moisturized (& i have THICK, DRY, frizzy, medium length hair) i love that it smells like green apples. i will repurchase this- and i never repurchse unless i saw results!

I have used this on several different occasions. The first time I used it I loved it and used up a normal size bottle of this and the matching conditioner. I switched brands for awhile and decided to go back to this. I bought the giant size bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner this tiem around. I used it for about a month and got bored with it so I switched products again. I went back to use up some of my giant bottles of this a couple months later, but got different results. It worked ok for a few days, but it really started to weigh my hair down and make it look greasy and dull with repeated use. I think if I use this again I would try the sheer version. The smell is great though and I liked the way it worked at first, so I'm not ready to give up quite yet.
