I love that this product is more soothing and gentle than other makeup removers. Neutrogena is a great brand, and I find myself getting lots of their products frequently and overall, I am quite satisfied. Like many other reviewers, I have had plenty of tragic catastrophes while using this product. The screw open top is a bit of an issue for me since I don't screw back on the cap until I'm finished removing makeup. I can't tell you how many times at night when I get lousy and accidentally elbow the bottle when I'm removing makeup, and cause a great spill all over the bathroom counter (if only it had a cap on...?). Otherwise I love this product and will definitely repurchase. With this product, I can remove makeup with ease, and it doesn't dry out my skin like most removers. The oily feeling doesn't bother me too much, all you need to do is rinse it off with warm water (I cleanse my face after removing makeup anyways). Definitely more PROS than CONS!

It does have that oily feeling and leaves an oily residue but I always wash my face after and only remove my makeup prior to hopping in the shower so the oil doesn't bother me. It removes all my make up without any problem and weighing that with the price I have not found anything better.

I'm not sure about "oil free" it does remove my makeup pretty well, but it leaves an oily residue, I still have to wash my face afterwards and then follow up with my night routine. I've been using for the last six months, and I am looking for something better, but have not found it.

I cannot tell you how many times i have spilled this product all over the counter and had to go buy a new bottle! But its just such a great product that i'm willing to live with it (: it takes off all makeup very well, and some people say it leaves a very oily residue, but i hardly notice any oil after i use it. I don't think i'd use any other makeup removers other than this one: its affordable, effective, and all it needs is a better cap!

Meh. Takes eye shadow off just fine, but mascara and eyeliner takes some rubbing. And I only wear a coat or two of mascara. But doesn`t irritate my sensitive eyes, so I will finish the bottle, I guess.

Wish it didn`t have that huge pour out opening.

Pros:
-gets your eye makeup off very well, even waterproof mascara

Cons:
-oily feeling afterwards, so you have to rinse your eyelids after using this
-can blur your vision if it gets in your eyes (especially if you are a contact lens wearer)

I find that the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover removes your eye makeup as well as this makeup remover without the oily residue.

I love this product. It will take every bit of makeup off your face, even waterproof and long lasting. The only reason I gave this product a 4 and not a 5 is because it leaves a massive oily residue on your face, and when you are using it you can definitely feel the oiliness of the product, but because I wash my face right after removing my makeup, that is something I can deal with. Plus, it is easy to spill because the top screws off and nothing protects the product from spilling out. It should definitely be a flip top.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Combination, Fair   Hair: Other   Eyes: Green

Pros:
+Cheap ($5.99)
+Easy to find
+Doesn't sting or burn my eyes
+Quick and easy to use (put some on cotton pad and hold over eyes for 30 sec, then wipe away)
+No pulling or tugging
+Works great on waterproof eye makeup.

Cons:
-Bottle top is just 'open' and doesn't have a smaller hole so it would be easy to spill
-I wish it had a flip top instead of a screw on lid so it'd be more convenient
-It leaves a bit of an oily residue (though not as bad as some other biphase removers) so I just use makeup wipes after using this (though probably not necessary), then wash my face

I love this makeup remover. The oil helps take away all the waterproof and long lasting makeup. With just one swipe to your eyes, practically everything will come off with very little makeup remaining. It's such a great product. I have repurchased this twice already. & even if there isn't the Neutrogena brand, there is always a cheaper which works just as well (:

Not exactly oil free. In fact I found it pretty oily. The makeup removing power is just so so. sometimes it leaves me dry eyes after using it. will not repurchase.

A definite drug-store winner!!! It's something I'm always going to have and repurchase. A staple in my makeup remover army.

PROS:
Affordable
Easy to find/ always in stock
Works great!
Oil-free formula is what I need for my lash extensions
Not harsh
No strong smell
Good amount of product in the bottle
No icky residue

CONS:
This isn't REALLY a con b/c it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to remove a lot of WP Japanese mascaras (especially my Majolica Majorca - truly bulletproof this one is) but yeah, it doesn't remove them ...by itself that is. The trick is to add a little bit of OLIVE OIL to the cotton swab along with the Neutrogena Oil-Free remover and you let your lashes soak for a min and it'll come off...eventually haha.

Will I repurchase? YES!!!!

Excellent product. I had started to have some problems with biphasic makeup removers. I needed them to remove my waterproof makeup but they were causing me nasty allergic reactions on my eyelids. Besides, these kind of makeup removers tend to leave a not very attractive sensation of oil on your skin.
I solved these problems with Neutrogena Oil Free eye makeup remover. No more allergic reaction, cool sensation on my skin and perfect to remove waterproof makeup. It has almost no smell. You can use it on your eyelids and on your face too.
Some people have mentioned the product leaves your skin oily. But if read the instructions (in the package that is sold in Argentina, at least), you'll notice that you have to wash out your face after using it. By doing that, you won't feel any oily sensation on your face or eyelids.
Of course, I'll repurchase.

I bought this yesterday and tried it out to remove my non-waterproof mascara, which usually removes easily. I saturated a piece of cotton, and held it on my eyelashes for 10seconds, then proceeded to wipe gently... I was NOT happy to have a bunch of my eyelashes start to fall out. I had 4-5 per eye fall out as I was trying to remove the mascara...I even used more product to really soak the mascara when doing the second eye and same situation. I will try this again tomorrow to see if maybe it was just a coincidence, but if not I will most stop using.

Edit** I thought this remover was semi-decent but have since moved on to other things. I'm currently using Vichy and really like it

Great make-up remover! Works quickly, and does a thorough job. Even removes eyeliner! I have issues with eyeliner because it is so close to my actual eye that I don't want to scrub at it, and this always just strips it right off! It's amazing.

I really like this makeup remover. It takes everything off my skin, works really well and is fairly cheap. Plus, you get a good amount of product in the bottle, so it lasts FOREVER. The only issue I have is that it makes my skin feel oily after I use it, which other removers I've used haven't done. But, it's worth it.

Way too oily feeling for me. It does a good job taking eye makeup off, however leaves this grosse oily film around my eyes. I noticed small bumps around my eyes after using this product a few times.
