One of those products that just deliver! Very easy to apply - mistakes are easily corrected - and long lasting. It's safe to say this eye liner is contacts-proof as well, since I'm wearing them and my eyes do not get irritated when I accidentally poke the tip into them.

I have to say that this product has restored my faith in liquid liners again. Gone are the horrible flippy-floppy brushes, gone is the trauma of the wonky line and gone is the weird burning in the corner of the eye sensation. The sponge tip is a revolution in gorgeousness, its as easy as pie to control and create and the colour is the magical shade of black that makes eyes bright and white. I think two thin coats are needed though if real intensity is what you're after..

I got this in Carbon Black color. A very deep true black. It is very easy to apply and stays flawless all day. It does not smudge. The price is good. It is fairly easy to remove with a decent makeup remover.
What more could you ask for?

Looooooooooooooove this liner!!! I have always hated sponge tip liners, for me they sucked or maybe i wasn't using it right. Usually i love the liners with a brush like the liquid liner from Urban Decay. I was loving it but would only use it sparingly. I saw this liner on target and thought it wouldnt hurt to try it out. I always tug on my eye to get a perfect straight line when using liners....well this time i didn't have to tug on my eye!!! I was like WOOOWWW!!! I'm defenitly going back for another one or two for back up. I think i found my HG liquid liner!!!

The felt tip is excellent for easy control as opposed to most of the super fine tips you get with other liquid eyeliner. But it flakes after a while AND if you apply powder eyeshadow afterwards.

Edit 20/02/2010: I tend to reach for this liner over the Lancome one... I'm used to L'oreal's denser felt tip and find the Lancome one too soft.
Original review: This is the perfect dupe for my favourite eyeliner, Lancome's Artliner. I might even have to say that the felt tip of this L'oreal eyeliner is even better than Lancome's one, because it's slightly thicker and easier to work with. I hope they never discontinue this eyeliner, because this is way cheaper than Lancome's Artliner. To be excact 30 euro's versus 11 euro's, you'll get the point I think. Because of the more friendly price tagg I'll rather be repurchasing the Super Liner than the Artliner. Both are my HG, but price wise, L'oreal wins at this race.

I really enjoy using this product. It goes on incredibly smooth on my lid and is really dark. Its very easy to apply because of the felt tip application. The felt tip is very sturdy and so unlike other eyeliners it means you dont make as many mistakes
Although I was intending to buy the linear intense and instead bought this, I am super glad i did make that mistake.
The only downfall is that it doesnt stay on your eyelid all day however this can be changed when you put on a matte black eyeshadow ontop of the liner.
Ive been using it frequently and it definitely opens up your eye and increases its size - a MUST HAVE buy

If only all brands were this honest when they name their products - L'Oreal's Superliner truly is a super liner. If you are after a felt tip type liner which makes a solid line as opposed to the pencil type, look no further. I am not joking. I must have tried 15 different liners over the years in different price classes, and this is the best by miles. Shame I didn't find it earlier, I could have saved my self a lot of irritation and money. I usually switch around even once I find a product I am quite happy with, but in the case of the superliner I am always true. It is perfect:
The applicator is not too hard, not too soft, nor does it lose its shape with months of use or shed pieces of fluff from the tip which you then have to fish out of your eye. The liner doesn't dry out either, you manage to use it all up (at least I do, but I use it every day). As for durability it stays put all day, and even survives a quick trip to the gym better than most mascaras. But it comes off in the shower or when you wash your face, so no need to tug at your eyes to get it off. I also have moderately sensitive eyes and use contacts, but this stuff has never caused any problems (I have even poked it directly into my eye a few times and not suffered any adverse effects), so I think it's pretty safe for people with sensitive eye areas. What more can I say? This liner is just awesome!! I am not easily impressed, but the superliner works wonders, and it doesn't bust the bank either. Well done L'Oreal!

when I first bought this eyeliner I absolutely loved it the felt tip makes it so easy to apply, you can correct mistakes easily, it doesn't sting, however after I wore this for a while I noticed a pattern emerging after a few hours of wearing this chunks of this eyeliner would came off in the inner corner of my eye
all in all good eyeliner but a shame it doesn't last very long

I'm a big fan of this liquid eyeliner. It is so easy to use (even by me, with silly wobbly hands!), and gives an even, glossy black line. Fab! The price is good, the staying power is excellent, and I use this most days. A very good, reliable liquid liner.

i'm a fan of this liquid liner. it's easy to use, the color is really black & easily affordable. it stays on my upper lashline since my skin is dry.
the packaging is simple & i like the felt tip applicator. i may like this better than Revlon colorstay liquid liner. definitely would repurchase again.. =)

Have been using the Carbon Black version of this eyeliner for a while this is my second purchase and its brilliant!!! By far the best eyeliner i have tried, and i have tried loads. Really easy to put on and lasts all day till you need to take it off. Inexpensive to purchase and doesn't dry out like some eyeliners...... My HG of eyeliners i love it!!!

A review for a carbon gloss version of this product.
Wonderfull colour which won't loose most of its intensity throughout the day
Good lasting power- it lasts day to night without a single trace until you enter some humid enviroment that way it just disappears :( I like my liner to be extremely waterproof.
Easy to remove with a regular cleanser.
Wonderful applicator - really easy to use, easier that pencil and than other liners, i love it. I can easily draw thick ofr thin line without any hassle.
It's a really good eyeliner, highly recomended, however i need an eyeliner which last in the most extreme conditions (humidity) this, unfortunately, does not.
Despite this, i would buy it again, as it's a great and cheap enough product to use everyday.

We have only Black and Brown over here, through i'm aware that there are other colors available elsewhere! Both Black and Brown have excellent pigmentation and they go on intensely as you can see from the swatches below!

Like most liquid eyeliners the brush is attached to the cap. The brush is firm and as you can see, does not taper out to a fine point which mean you cannot do an ultra fine line on your lids, which suits me as i prefer thick liners!
Texture:
These liquid liners glide on smoothly but does tend to goop up as time passes. Remember to change your liners every 6 months!
Time Test:
These liners take about 10 seconds to dry entirely, and once they do, they stay on until you take them off!! They do not flake or smudge on me! Impressive! These are not water proof though, so make sure you don't cry / swim with them on cuz it won't be pretty (happened to me once)! lol!
Price & Availability:
These liners are sold for slightly over RM30 if i remember correctly. Should be available at all Loreal counters at Watsons / Guardian / Your local supermarket! :)
Usage:
I use this on my upper lids primarily as i have teary eyes so lining the bottom lid with this is a huge no no! Whether to draw a simple line or a mysterious cat's eye flick, this one performs beautifully!
In a Nutshell:
Excellent drugstore stuff that performs beautifully!! Would be great if it is waterproof!
Likes: Excellent pigmentation, Smudge / flake proof, easy to remove!
Gripes: No waterproof formulation where i live!

Super Liner (carbon gloss) in black. This eyeliner is very easy to apply, even if you're new to liners/do not have a steady hand. It gives a nice colour and is easy to apply in a single stroke or in shorter, connected ones.
Packaging is good, the tip applicator allows for a thin to medium thick line, product is easy to wash off yet has great staying power (I wore this to the gym, did not budge).
Price is very reasonable. Will purchase again and recommend to others.

I agree with the other reviewers who said this is fool proof. Super Liner is by far the easiest liquid eyeliner I have ever used! I am by no means a makeup expert, so I don't have a very steady hand nor am I very good at applying eyeliner in the first place, but I'm always thrilled with the end result after using this liner. It always looks like I've done a perfect job! I originally bought this in Black and I just recently purchased Brown too. Will definitely continue to repurchase!

I always thought I couldn't master the art of applying liquid eyeliner. Until I discovered this one.
As someone said earlier, it's fool proof. It really is. It's SO simple to apply, just glides on. I am so pleased to say it's my HG liquid eyeliner!

VERY EASY TO APPLY! I think this eyeliner works really well for its price. It certainly didn't smudge after more than 10 hours since application. However, it smudges once it comes in contact with water..or tears. Everytime I yawn, some of the eyeliner comes off. The tube also tend to have some kind of sticky, paper-y clumps after 2-3 months of usage. Not the best eyeliner out there, but if you are looking for something that's relatively cheap and yet performs okay, this is something you should buy.
