i loved my time with this product!!!! it was amazing. i loved the microscubbers and it smelt great. well, i know the UK formula is MUCH different from the one in the US because when i went on holiday and i bought it there, i was shocked to see that it wasnt the same. it had the microscrubbers but it didnt have the witch hazel in it. well, i still love it because it lathers well and cleasnes deep down. however i prefer a more abrasive scrub. i probably will buy it again and keep an abrasive scrub when my skin needs it.

I loved the gentle smell of this product and the feel of the microbreads and though it cleansed my skin well it did not effectively fight my acne. Only when I started using my dermatologist's recommended acne aid soap, did I realize that the red, irritated pores on my cheeks that I'd attributed to thick, heavy foundations was actually a result of this. Maybe it worked for other people, but still can't understand the high rating

My bf has this in his shower and I absolutely love it. I hadn't used C&C since my middle school breakout years - I guess I didnt really take this brand seriously when it came to adult skin care. This has gentle exfoliating properties and doesnt dry out my face or my bf's (and we both have skin on the dry side). Its also less harsh than my other stand-by (Neutrogena's pore refining cleanser).

Nice average cleanser for my skin. The only thing really special is the tiny beads that exfoliate your skin without irritating it. After using this stuff my skin is clear of makeup residue, dirt and oil. I get very few to no breakouts with this stuff, but i do find that it does dry my skin just a little. I seem to have this problem with most cleansers. But i am happy it keeps my skin clear and that you dont need a lot to wash with.

I really like the consistency of this scrub. The "micro-scrubbers" are fine enough that they don't tear up my skin but still give my sensitive skin a nice exfoliation and glow. Definitely worth it and recommended!

Huge disappointment. I was so excited to try this cleanser out because it seems like lots of people use it. The selling point for me was when I spotted this at a friend's house in the shower.
I tried this one time in the evening and my face was a flaky mess. I looked over the ingredients and sure enough, there it was...LACTIC ACID. It's listed pretty low in the ingredient's list - last, as a matter of fact. But nonetheless, it's there and I believe the cause of my irritation. I dont do well with AHAs, *especially* with lactic acid (Philosophy's HIAJ has this!). This also felt like it left a slimy film on my face. Made me feel yucky.
Will not repurchase.

This is a good cleanser for my combination (normal to oily) skin! I hated the miscroscrubbers at first. They reminded me of grains of sand! But I got used to it eventually. And the slight clean scent somehow reminds me of my grandma's house. Good face wash overall...I don't find this drying me out even a tiny bit! My one slight beef though, is the flip cap on the bottom because I like to store my face washes in the shower and water always gets in the cap. But it's not a big enough deal to make me not want to repurchase.

this is pretty good, my favorite out of all the clean and clear things. all i have to say is that it does work, but if you use it a few days in a row, it will dry your face out immensely if you do not use a moisturizer, due to the salycic acid in it. i would recommend this though.
i do not like that it tests on animals though. :(
edit: good when mixed with the clean and clear sensitive cream cleanser! perfect!

I like this b/c it has the microscrubbers, and that helps exfoliate your skin, plus i think it smells good, and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed...the only things I don't really care for about this is that it makes my face feel kinda tight and dry when I get done washing it, and it seems like I have to rinse it off more thoroughly to get it all off- I probably will go back to the noxema daily exfoliating cleanser when I get done with this though, because overall I think that that is a better product and it smells better and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight, just refreshed!

UPDATE: this is really drying out my face- i'm gonna have to get some noxema daily exfoliating scrub like i had before or something bc this stuff is making my skin flake etc... (and i do use a moisturizer afterwards, at least at night anyway!!)

a nice cleanser. the micro scrubbers are really tiny that they are not too harsh on my skin, but i only use it every 2 day... the feeling is refreshing, but the smell is a bit strong
and i also have an issue with the package, i bought a smaller size and it worked well, so i decided to buy a bigger size and the cleanser was not so great as before
beside that, a good product!

A good average cleanser. Nothing spectacular but it does a good job for oily skin. It's kept blemishes at bay, yet i do get the occasional 1-3x a month or so. Blackheads are slightly less noticable yet I do still have clogged pores on my nose which I think will never go away. The scrubbers are nice and small and arent rough like you would get with St. Ives Apricot Scrub which can tear delicate skin. This cleanser doesnt dry my skin out and hasnt irritated my sensitive skin. This will probably be a staple for me if it continues to work well, which it better. I hate having to look for a product that prevents me from getting nasty pimples.

This is gonna be one of my HG cleansers!
I love the minty menthol feel I get as I'm scrubbing my T-zone area.
My skin felt clean and refreshed after washing off.
In fact, my skin looked visibly cleaner too!
I do hope that it would help in reducing my blackheads in time to come :)

i have acne prone combo very sensitive skin, have tried a multitude of cleansers including murad, neutrogena, etc etc. i tried this product and found it to be very cleansing without drying, and i love those beads that get into my pores for deep cleaning. everytime i decide (stupidly) to try out something else, it doesn't work as well, and i end up going back to this product.
i give it 4 though because it hasn't really helped at keeping milia away.

I picked this up during a holiday because my combo acne skin was a mess and I was hoping that the Daily Pore Cleanser would help. Well, after 2 months of using this daily (only at night), my skin is now blackhead free and a bit brighter. I use this in combination with jojoba oil as moisturizer and Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair. As for acne, I still breakup a bit, but it heals faster. I will definitely keep buying this.

I found Clean & Clear's Daily Pore Cleanser mediocre it was just your average cleanser. Didn't really help reduce acne for me but did a good job cleaning off makeup/dirt. I liked the scent and the tingly feeling after using this. But that's about it.

I picked this cleanser up after reading the rave reviews on MUA. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its expectations. After the first few uses, my skin was actually a bit dry for my normal skin type. However, it does cleanse well and removes makeup. I didn't experience any irritations with it. But overall, it's just an okay product.

this is an ok product and i was using it alot as a teen..i feel really clean after washing my face with this...plus it's cheap...but it does leave my oily/combination skin abit tight, which i don't like. I prefer Neutrogena's Pore Refining Cleanser and i've switched to it since a year ago....does a much better job without the 'tight' feeling on my cheeks.

This cleanser is very average. It didn't really harm my skin nor did it really help it very much either. It cleared up my zits somewhat, and that's great. While it didn't dry out me skin per se or make it flaky, this made my skin not-so-soft. For this reason and the overly-chemical scent I would not repurchase.

This is the best drugstore cleanser available, in my opinion. I've been using it for a long, long time. I'm oily with acne sometimes. I rarely use products with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. They have never done anything except irritate my skin. Once I went to the dermatologist I started using Differin and Triaz pads. Because I'm on prescription-strength stuff, I think this is a great cleanser because it's mild, it really cleanses well, it's soft, removes makeup well - sometimes even makeup that I'd normally have to use special remover for. Skin feels soft and clean. I hate products that make my skin feel tight. It's cheap. The packaging... eh. You get quite a bit, it's easy to squeeze out, but a lot of times I've encountered major gooey leakage if the cap happens to open the tiniest bit when I leave it in the shower. I'd recommend placing the cap-side up, resting it on a shower caddy thing maybe. That way nothing will spill or leak.

I have been using this for about 8 years now, and it has never failed me. I have combination skin, which has started to get a little more oily in the past couple years (age 23-24), but this cleanser has always given me smooth acne free skin. My ex-boyfriend even called me peach because of how smooth and perfect my skin was.
