LOVE this conditioner. Works much better than any of the salon or drugstore brands I've used, no matter what shampoo I use it with. Thick, creamy texture... my hair soaks it right up, leaves my hair soft and silky with NO buildup, and leaves my hair much more manageable. I've been able to use less styling products since using this conditioner! It does have a very strong scent, but it does fade. I like the smell but not everyone might. Still, totally worth it.

Also: this conditioner doubles as shaving cream for me. Seriously, I just smooth some on my legs/underarms... softest, smoothest shave ever, and never razor burn or overly dry skin afterward. Better than even the Kiss My Face cream shave that I had been using before. Try it! :)

Smell is overpowering. Irritated my scalp and did nothing for the condition of my hair.

Great conditioner!! This is a very moisturizing conditioner that does not weigh my fine, highlighted hair down. I use it every now and then when I want a good non-heavy moisturizer for my hair, which tends toward the dry side.

I've even used this some days after I've dried my hair and noticed parts still seem dry. I put a tiny amount of this on it and my hair seems to soak it right up without causing a greasy look. I've grown to like the scent, which is definately floral/honeysuckle.

(For reference: I have fine, flat, wavy hair that's oily at the roots and dry and somewhat frizzy at the ends. I also used this in conjunction with Aubrey Organics Rosa Mesquita shampoo, and not the accompanying Honeysuckle Rose shampoo.)

For starters, let me just say that I am absolutely floored by this product! I'm echoing all the other reviewers that placed this with HG status.

I've been looking for more natural, nourishing products for my hair, but unfortunately most of the 'natural' brands left my hair a dry, frizzy mess. I didn't want to turn back to chemical-laden products (though they did work), but I needed something to get my hair under control. After reading the MUA reviews, I figured I'd give this a shot -- and I'm sooo glad I did!

The texure was thick, much thicker than any conditioner I've ever used before (though not so thick that I wasn't able to squeeze it out of the bottle, unlike some others). It had a nice creamy consistency, and actually felt good on my hair.

The smell was... interesting, to say the least. It is a bit cloying at first, but soon turned into a pleasant, somewhat powdery and sweet floral scent. The scent still lingers after drying, but it's not heavy or overpowering.

After rinsing thoroughly and air-drying, my hair is sooo super-soft, and not weighed down! Best of all (and this is a minor miracle), absolutely NO frizz! Normally I wouldn't be able to justify the hefty (in my opinion) price tag, but the results were definitely worth it. I'll repurchase. This is definitely going to have a permanent place in my shower.

This is a great replacement to all those chemical-laden conditioners out there! I bought this one because it's the only one I could find that really did have 100% natural ingredients, without chemical preservatives, detergents or fragrances.
The ingredient list and the super-thick consistency of this conditioner will scare you into thinking you'll have grease-covered hair. But somehow, it rinses away cleanly and all you're left with is soft, great-looking hair with body.
I'm just happy that I can switch out my entire hair regimen with all-natural products without sacrificing my beautiful hair!
Still, you might not like the heavy honeysuckle scent (a bit old-lady smell), but my boyfriend likes it. The price isn't as cheap as you're probably used to at Wal-Mart, but it's worth not having the parabens, silicones, 1,4-dioxin and other icky stuff getting in your system.

Beautiful product, I was scared to try it since it is all natural with no cones and I thought that my dry frizzy hair needed cones to function. To my surprise this condish worked wonders. The smell is strong, very organic, and it does last so anyone sensitive to smells may not care for this, but it did not bother me or my allergies at all. The conditioner is ridiculously thick, but it does spread through the hair nicely. Can be used on dry or wet hair, I usually save this one as a deep conditioner. My hair is so so soft, frizz free, and shiny. I could not stop looking in the mirror at every inch. One of the only conditioners that I can use and let my wild hair air dry without looking like a complete dork!

Every few years around the late summer/early fall my normally dry hair turns into a brittle, frizzy, mess and I start shedding hair like crazy. the last time this happened Aubrey was recommended to me, but I ended up not trying it. this time I ordered it ASAP from iherb.com (best price I've found for it). The scent is a bit cloying, but I like florals, so it doesn't really bother me. It's a very thick, cream-like conditioner, and as other have noted can be a bit difficult to get out of the bottle. However, whatever small inconveniences it might present are nothing compared to how well it works. In one application my hair went from brittle and frizzy to soft as silk, shiny, and frizz-free. I was floored. I didn't even have to use any styling products after blow drying it. I had been using Nexxus products for years, but this works so much better. I can't wait to try other aubrey products now!

This is a very thick conditioner; I have trouble getting it to come through the disktop cap and end up unscrewing the cap to get product out. Other than that, it's a great conditioner for my fine, dry, curly, color-treated BSL hair. Love the scent; can be adjusted depending on how much you apply. Has nice slip and helps detangle. No bad ingredients in this!!

This is a good mid priced silicone free conditioner. This product does moisturize & detangle well. It was about $8 at Whole Foods. This is a very thick conditioner & it weighs my hair down. I do find the smell too strong. I prefer my HG Loreal Hydra Gloss for dry/damaged hair- it only has amodimethicone which is very easy to remove. In addition to the Loreal conditioner I mentioned, I also really like Jessicurl Too Shea & WDT. This often gets compared to Terax Crema so, IMO, Loreal Hydra Gloss for dry/damaged hair > Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose > Terax Crema. I will use up this product but I won't repurchase.

I have thin, fine, stick straight colored hair. This stuff definitely weighs my hair down, but leaves it soooo smooth and shiny and swingy. And completely, totally moisturized. The scent is ...OK. Pleasant but not great...sort of strange and definitely not like any other typical conditioner scent. I found out that the key to great shiny hair is to rinse rinse rinse away until most if not all of the slippery feeling is gone. Also minimizes the weight. Annoying packaging though...you will have to unscrew the top to squeeze out the thick cream, unless you have abnormally strong palms : )

EDIT: I recently found an even better conditioner, Garnier Triple Nutrition. So, I knocked my rating of Honeysuckle Rose down a star. But I'll leave this review up because people may still find it helpful. Plus, I still feel that Honeysuckle Rose is an extremely good conditioner. It's just no longer my HG. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the alpha and omega of conditioners. You may need it daily or weekly, depending on what your hair likes. But trust me, you need it. There is virtually no filler in this highly concentrated formula. Aside from the essential oils at the bottom of the ingredients list, everything in this conditioner works to make your hair softer, shinier, smoother, and healthier. The conditioner is so thick that I unscrew the cap and squeeze it out directly. It should really come in a tube or tub. I distribute a few globs throughout my hair, leave it on for a minute, and then comb through with my fingers. Since my thick, very curly hair loves conditioner, I'll put a shower cap on and leave the conditioner in for the rest of the shower. When I rinse it out, my hair doesn't feel waxy or coated. However, by the time it dries, it's clear that my hair is softer and bouncier.

The only caveat is that this conditioner smells *nothing* like either honeysuckle or rose. It has an herbal smell--with a strong chamomile note, to my nose--that really gets on some people's nerves. For this reason, I'd recommend trying this out in a trial-size bottle before committing to the full size.

im addicted to its honeysuckle rose scent! my hair is colored, highlighted, damaged and dry.....i use a generous amount and leave it in for a few minutes...my hair feels moisturized (but definitely not hg status though)...the scent just lingers all day...my only gripe is that the conditioner is sooo thick, i have a hard time squeezing it out of the container!

After regretting my purchase of the island tropics scent (aka, unwashed pirate festering in the sun), I was hesitant to try another Aubrey product. However, I'm always on the lookout for a paraben free product that works as well as my heavy silicone fave (Matrix Biolage Ultra).

As someone pointed it, it still gives your hair slip (my litmus for a good conditioner), and leaves it soft, shiny, and not frizzy nor weighed down.

I totally get the Desitin smell at first, but that part fades to a very pretty, soft true honeysuckle scent that lasts maybe a few hours afterwards.

Edit: after repeated use, there is some build up. It's a bit too heavy for every other day use. I've moved on to other stuff.

Oh yes, yes I will be repurchasing this conditioner, prolly till the day I die! It's truely an HG. I am in love. Everything about this conditioner is magnificent. My hair is baby-thin, and lately its been dry since I started getting highlights. This conditioner leaves my hair so soft, but bouncy and full. It smells AMAZING. I just love the way my hair smells after using this... I could sit there all day smelling this conditioner. Which is why I don't understand the diaper rash creme comment below. I've never smelled diaper rash creme, but if this is what it smells like, then nom nom nom. To add, I used to hate Aubrey Organic conditioners, least the other ones I've tried, so I was hesitate to buy this. I got it for $8.94 at the local Vitamin Shoppe. My best purchase made in a long time.

After running dangerously low on my beloved Crema, I decided to give this conditioner a try. I don't know why, but as I was putting it on, a review that stated this smelled like diaper cream popped into my head. Does anyone else have MUA reviews pop in their head while they use products? Anyway, I chuckled to myself and thought about how much $$$ I saved by using this as a Crema alternative. Then it hit me. A memory of babysitting a neighbor's kid with a bad case of diaper rash. It DOES smell like diaper cream (to me!).

I liked the way it conditioned my hair, but unfortunately my scalp didn't like it AT ALL. I would normally just use it on my ends, but the smell makes me dry heave. Thanks Desitin and the lil itchy butt for ruining the smell of this for me.

I never thought a conditioner that's so thick could produce so much detangling slip. I use the Honeysuckle Rose and GPB conditioners and the texture is unlike anything else I've ever used - like a super dense creaminess that feels wonderful when applied to my 3b/3c curls. As I've mentioned before, floral/herbal scents are not typically my cup of tea, but I love the Honeysuckle Rose smell. A definitely hair staple for me.
