Buying this was such a huge mistake!! It does not enhance my skin tones, and by the end of the day, my skin tone actually deepens quite a bit. The bottle leaks, and extra foam rises to the top one minute after usage. The sunblock protection is also pretty undependable as it's only SPF17 (SPF20+ is recommended for daily use).I bought the 30ml version, finished it in less than a month, and I definitely won't buy this again.

I'm one of those who DIDN'T like this product. I thought this was gd, and went to buy it. Got myself disappointed. Okie, the texture was light & airy, but it dried up too quickly for me to get it spread evenly on my face. There's always leftover mousse on the nozzle. The tint in it also made me look darker.

I am new to MUA and have been hesitant about where to write my first review as I really didn't know where to begin. BUT as soon as I see this, I know I have to say something about it.

Gosh, I am so used to this product that I almost forgot that I am using it. Let me put it this way, I have not lived a day without it for the past 6 years. I usually use it as a tinted moisturizer and finish with Shu Uemura's face powder. I also use Shu's crayon concealer if I need to cover up some red spots. My skin looks smooth and flawless.

It's very light and feels practically unnoticeable; yet it also gives me a sense of protection that my skin is *shielded* from all pollutants in the air. Even my BF has been using it.

TIP:

Like every mousse, shake well before use and ALWAYS dispense up-side down.

Wipe the tip clean after dispensing and DAB the bottle on a hard surface to 'sink' the mousse.

Use with a sponge to apply to the face.

After application, wrap the sponge in soft tissue to keep it clean and reuse it next time to avoid waste.

Do change every week, though, to keep it sanitary.

I sometimes use this alone without the foundation and it works well with just loose powder. The moose consistency absorbs quickly into the skin and it's not drying (I have dry skin). It gives dewy look. I also love the UVA/UVB protection. Would buy more often if it were cheaper.

Either you like it or hate this mousse texture. The good things are that (1) it is very easily absorbed into the skin and (2)doesn't smell like "chemically spf" and (3) leaves the skin with a more even tone. the packaging is not that great and the dispenser has always leftover mousse. A little clumsy to use. My first bottle also started to leak towards the end of the usage. Definitely need to improve on packaging

Love, love, love this stuff. Makes my skin more even toned and gives it a little glow. Nice that it provides SPF protection but I use a separate moisturizer for that. I'm a bit of klutz w/ a mousse can so watch out or you'll have pieces of flesh colored mousse all over your mirror. I can't say I would rec. this for PPP. I'm an NC 30 and it matched my skintone but for anyone paler, eh. Too bad Shu doesn't provide more shades.

Okay, it is very light in texture. However, not a good sunscreen even I just wear it for school and shopping. I noticed that my skin is darkened for 1 to 2 shades (OMG!) and I stopped using it because I suspected it cannot protect me from UVA and UVB and sun exposure is the no.1 ageing factor!!!

This is lightweight and has SPF17 and PA++. But other than being a good lightweight sunscreen, it does nothing a primer supposed to do. It doesn't even out my skin tone, or makes my pores look smaller. Also, the slight tint dries to a slightly pink shade which make my yellow-toned skin looks funny. Will not re-purchase.

Nice idea, but it really is a bit overpriced for its size. My foundation goes on smoother, and I personally like the slight tint, because it goes with my MMM skin tone. I also noticed that it makes me perspire less (foundation seems to trap heat within my skin), although it may be just my imagination. I hope not, though :)

I bought this probabaly 4 years ago, and all I can remember is it gave me a caky look. I do like the idea "mousse primer" though. (I wish there are more cosmeric companies adopt this idea--the mousse form is definitely lighter than cream or liquid)Another downside is it doesn't last very long( probabaly 4-6 weeks at most) and it is quite expensive.

I've bought my second bottle for want of finding a better makeup base that would do all that makeup bases promise to do (holding power, minimizing the look of pores etc.). I *have* received comments that my skin looks younger (hence the reason why I'm willing to buy a second bottle). I may be using too much of this each time, though, because the bottle only lasted me 6 weeks.

my relationship with the uv underbase was short & sweet. when i was going thru a havoc skin condition era, this was my HG as it keeps my makeup matt & fresh throughout the day. it keeps makeup looking real and kept oxidization / streakiness / cakiness from reapplying makeup at bay. i was onto my 4th can when shu keep on bumping their price up, so i said goodbye as my skin condition had returned to being normal. nonetheless, this is great for greassy / oily gals who are prone to outbreak.

It makes my face bright so it's good for make up base. One thing is I prefer somthing that cans moise my skin and protect UV in the same time, which this one doesn't do.

No, it does not foam up. This product has the very strange consistency which is hard to describe.
I like that it has spf 17 or 18 but I don't like its dull color which gives my face strange beige coloring. I look uglier with it. And whenever I use it, it always floods and makes a mess. The good thing is that it is matte on the face. I can't say it is a bad bad product, but this is definitely not for me. I hardly use this and won't repurchase. Smells strange too.

I'm not sure if it's my can or what, the product does not seem to foam up. Each time I dispense it, there's only liquid. Anyway it really dries out my skin and causes flakiness. Will never buy or use this again!

The sheer/semi-matte finish is what I like about this item, however, the pinky beige color is just awful. I wish they could come with more colors since the color itself is just not user friendly. Over all I still think it's a great product that keeps my skin happy since I break out from every other sun product I've tried.

Well, the mousse idea is certainly original, for those who like butane on their face. The dispensing just doesn't make sense, the color is an OK pinky neutral, the consistency can highlight dry patches or leave a slight film on the face if you goop out too much -- which is inevitable, it being a mousse. It didn't sting, made for a mediocre primer, but the crop of tiny little zits and clogged pores was not, I think, a coincidence.

This foam works really well for me and forms a protective barrier underneath my foundation. It help minimize some of my pores and I love that the sunscreen protects from UVA and UVB.

I love this make-up base. It looks really natural if worn alone and the best thing about it is it has SPF17 and PA++ which are really two added bonuses. I wear it under loose powder and the effect is natural and people can hardly tell that I am wearing something on my face. One major drawback is that it doesn't have any oil-control so it's important to set it with a loose powder or else your face will start getting shiny after a few hours.

I love the cannister and the mousse that it produces. It is so light, and I can't feel it on my skin. It has a very faint tint, and it is nice that it has SPF, my major concern. I love this, since I don't usually wear foundation.
