The product is fine because it didnt make my skin to have more break outs but it didnt really helped to get rid of the one I have faster... so I dont knwo they promise alot with this product but actually its not really worth it and plus its really expensive....

Bought this for my teenage son who is fighting acne. He said he loved the product but I don't really see much difference outside of his pus pimples not appearing as often (that said, that could be due to hormones, what he is eating, zeno, who knows). He likes the smell, the feel and he is using it because he enjoys using so for that alone, I will likely rebuy.

My HG cleanser! Gently scented, excellent consistency and good bottle design. Really helped to control shine on my face and my skin tone has improved. Definitely has kept my breakouts under control and even when I do get a pimple, it forms slowly so that I can catch it before it even becomes noticeable. It's a little bit drying, but my skin is softer and clearer.

I used this about 2 years ago.
This had a very nice consistency and a very clean smell. I used it on my acne ridden pre-dermatologist evaluated face, and to my dismay, the result wasn't as big as the price tag. It didn't lather for me very well. My skin felt smooth-ish after, but it did not even come close to feeling clean. I may try this product again in the future since my skin has changed dramatically(as in texture, look), and the possiblility of Vichy changing the formula since then, but for now, I stay clear of it.

A good cleanser, did not make me break out more and did not dry me out badly. However it did not really remove my blemishes - it just controlled them

Overall I would recommend this cleanser, if you find it pricey i would suggest you opt for something similar but with a lower price tag.

I've been using this for about five days now and so far it's great. I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin; to put it simply, it's fussy. Products for acne prone skin usually leave my skin dry and flaky, and everything else makes me break out. This cleanser makes my skin feel clean without making it feel tight or dehydrated. After just the five days I've been using it I already see a noticable difference in the way my skin looks. My skintone looks more even, I haven't been breaking out, and my skin feels softer and smoother. I swear my past acne scars are even becoming less noticable. I really don't have anything to complain about with this so far. I haven't been using it long enough to decide if it's HG material yet, but so far so good. Four lippies for now.

I've been using this cleanser in conjunction with the moisturizer for 3 days and at first I was really impressed. Day 1: My redness was diminished and i didn't break out. The results were almost immediate. Day 2: Still pleasant results. Day 3: Dry, flaky patches all over my face.. It's very drying to my fairly oily skin, so i would steer clear of this if your already dry to begin with. I have high hopes for this line so I'm excited to continue my use and to see what happens..

I've been using this product now for 9 months everyday (one bottle has lasted!) in conjunction with the day and night moisturizers and the spot treatment, and I am so pleased with the results. I rarely break out and my skin tone has improved so much! I LOVE NORMADERM!!

I have been using this product, along with almost the entire Normaderm line for ..about 4 years now. (wow, I didn't realize it's been so long) Althought it wasn't horrible, I had some acne in my early teenage years and tried Clean&Clear, Neutrogena, and maybe a few other random products targeted towards teenagers with acne. First of all, I think that although one product from the Normaderm line might suffice for some, you should probably get at least this and the moisturizer if you want to see any results. I had only bought the moisturizer at first and although I noticed small improvements, it wasn't until I used the moisturizer, this and the toner that my acne started clearing up completely. It's been awhile so I'm not certain, but I think it took me around 2-4 months of using those 3 together every morning and night until the acne had completely disappeared. Once it had, because this cleanser IS slightly drying, I started using this only at night, but continued with the other 2 both morning and night and stayed that way ever since. I still get like one random pimple every 2-3 months or so but I'm very happy with this line. In fact, even though my skin's clear now, I'm afraid to stop using it in fear of the acne coming back lol. The consistency is like a thin gel, and doesn't lather much but leaves a very clean feel to the skin after. I gave a 5/5 for the price. It's around $24-29 CAD (I buy the whole line so I don't remember the exact cost of this one) and though that's not dirt cheap, it lasts me ...at least 4 months, maybe even up to 5 or 6 so I think it's worthwhile, especially since it works well.
Also, I bought a ..I forgot the exact name of it, but there's a kind of recent addition to the Normaderm line, a more "gentle" cleanser or something that's not supposed to be as drying, so I bought that to try after I'm done with this and will probably review after I've used it.

I've been using the Normaderm series for about a month and I haven't noticed any change in either pore size or imperfections so that's a bit of a dissapointment. The cleansing gel itself is green, lathers a little and has a nice "clean" scent. Does dry my combo skin out a bit and is worthless when it comes to eye makeup removal (yes, I'm lazy, I like all in one cleansers). Overall I'd say that it's a pretty average cleanser, nothing spectacular. Does clean skin but has no other effect what so ever, even combined with the rest of the series.

I probably wouldn't have tried this as I'm usually scared of things made for oily acne prone skin because I find them harsh. (Bad experiences over the years from mainly department store brands that I found too stripping.) The lady in charge of the cosmetics/skin care department at the drugstore recommended this one to me while I was looking at the Vichy cleansers. I was going to try the milk or the micellar water one but the claims on the bottle sold me! This is my first product by Vichy and I have to say I'm pleased. The bottle says this cleanser is targeted for skin that clogged, has dilated pores, red spots, shiny patches, and uneven complexion. Since I have all those problems more or less this seemed like a good fit. The cleanser claims to smooth and even out the complexion.

The first 2-4 days my usually combo-dry acne prone skin was producing oil like crazy but I decided to stick with it for at least a week. Initially my skin felt very tight. Now after using this for a few weeks my skin is clearer and it does even out the complexion. I'm no longer oily and my t-zone which really the only area before I was shiny in has totally normalized. This did initially clear my blackheads on my nose but I think they are coming back again. I really like this but I only use this in the morning, 2x a day in the winter seems to be overkill with this. The exfoliants this cleanser contains are Salicylic Acid + Glycolic Acid. After I cleanse my skin I spray Caudalie Grape Water or Ole Henriksen Red Tea Mist on and then follow with my moisturizer + sunscreen after. For $19.50 (CND) this is worth it. The only really negative thing I have to say about this is the ingredient list has a lot of parabens listed which I try to avoid as much as possible.

UPDATE!!!!: after I wrote this review all of sudden my face became really sensitive and I started breaking out! I have not experienced this type of break out in years now. I'm currently nursing clusters of pimples on my forehead!!! I stopped using this for the past 2 days and my skin has started to calm down. I know it was this because this was the only new thing that I have added to my routine since late September. Bumping this down to a 1! Not going near my face again and I will go back to milder cleansers.

I just finished my SHu Uemura cleansing oil and is depserate to get a cleanser for day to day use (while reserving my cleansing oil for removing make-up)
I am fond of the thermal range (I used the thermal moisturiser as HG and eye gel, and UV Block and toner) and originally went to get the 3 in 1 cleanser a try. Instead maybe my big pimple gave away and the sales recommended this instead (I hate cleansing milk or lotion with a passion. not sure why)

I like to gel a lot. You need to foam it up for a clean and 1 pump is enough. For some reason, I always manage to 'taste' the gel (you know. some water just goes into your mouth and you just taste it) and hate those cleansing product with a soapy taste. This definitely doesn't

After cleansing, my skin feel squeaky clean as echoed by other user, it felt smooth as well. I have combination skin and I think this is a good purchase.

Price tag? £8.50 from my local pharmacy. 200 ml versus £24 of my shu uemura. But.. I still need something to remove my make up so this cleanser is becoming my morning favourite.

An amazing cleanser. My face never feels oily and it got rid of those nasty ingrown pimples on my forehead that killed.

I've been using this product for about two weeks (as well it's hydrating care moisturizer and gel make up remover) and so far so good. All the large pimples I had have disappeared and i had a small break out of little pimples which seems to be vanishing as well. Love the pump, smell is good, i feel smooth and soft after using it.

I got a deluxe sample of this, and the sample lasted me quite a few uses. I actually looked forward to washing my face with this every morning as I feel like it refreshes and deep cleans my skin. I found that it calmed my skin down, and my pores appeared less visible after using this product which was a major plus for me. It also took off most of my makeup when I put it to the test on that front. I rated it pretty dirt cheap in terms of the pricing scale since I got it as a sample, but I could imagine paying a lot more for this here in Canada. After this experience, I would love to try the rest of Vichy's Normaderm line.

Yesterday I bought this product at London Drugs on a whim without even looking it up for reviews and honestly it was well worth the risk. After the first use my skin looked smoother and bump free. My pores were also almost nonexistant! I would probably recommend this to girls under 20 as when you hit your twenties(usually) oil production is not as active as it was in your teens so take it easy on this product as it will be drying for people with "normal" skin types. I personally have combination skin and I'm 16 and this kind of dries my face depending on the time of day I use it. Anyways...look into this cleanser, it's amaaazingg! Btw, it didn't break me out before it cleared me up-like my skin didn't do a purge thing like some people have mentioned. Because I seriously hate products like that.

Definitely cleans thoroughly, my oily skin, especially during the summer time needs deep cleansing and this does it. Leaves my face a little tight but not dried out. I use this in conjunction with the Normaderm Night moisturizer, which is great as well. My pores seem cleaner than usual, I don't think pores actually shrink but if they have less gunk in them they will appear less obvious because they won't be irritated and enlarged from dirt and makeup that wasn't cleaned out properly. The oil production seems to have calmed down quite a bit as well. No dry spots, no flaking. I have sensitive skin, oily T-zone, stressed out skin and need to drink less coffee/more water and sleep more (not easy with a 2 1/2 year old). I might add the toner but will keep with the basics for now. I get really bad breakouts during PMS and illness so this should help quite a bit. Doesn't exfoliate at all so need a washcloth if I want to scrub better, but this seems to do the trick overall. I also use it on my neck and my shoulders, which seem to break out just as much as my face does and I like the results. The local Longs Drugs has this line, and I love it. I want to keep buying it so they don't drop it, from what I see it can be hard to find this in U.S. stores and it's very effective. The cost is a little higher than I'm used to but because it's working for me I will continue to use it. Tamiko, using this product for a week so far.

I don't get that many breakouts. When I do, they are awful! I tried this after my friend told me about it, and I pretty much fell in love. It always clears me up pretty fast, with no drying out of the skin. No scent either!

Love this amazing product!
