My HG lipstick for the last 8 years. Have tried a variety of lipsticks (samples, gifts) but none come close. It beats the top brands hands down. I once had an Estee Lauder Signature that broke after 2 uses. Revlon Super Lustrous has wonderful coverage, lasts even while it's not colourstay and best of all, I was SO glad when Revlon was one of the few brands that didn't use lead in their lipsticks. I use 130 and 131 and have constantly gotten raves or questions about the shade that's so natural yet pretty. Will definitely recommend to my daughter when she's old enough to use lipsticks. It's THAT good!!

The texture is creamy and soft, however there is a distinct smell to it and I find it dries out the lips. I returned it.

HG lipsticks. Great selection of colors, frosts and creams, creamy, rich feel on lips (which I like-- leaves some stain on the lips). Not too drying, just wear a balm underneath if you have superdry lips like me. Clear packaging is great. Love the everyday neutral colors in gorgeous satin and pearl finishes--Rose Velvet, Blushed and the plum and violet shades.

Okay, I have these in Wine with Everything and Berry Rich. I'm Asian, tanned, black hair with pigmented lips and these colors suit me just fine. Wine with Everything is a subtle red, not too obvious, but still pretty. Berry Rich is a pinkish color, but not too tarty. I've heard about these lipsticks and decided to give it a try.
Firstly, I like the price, very cheap so I can splurge on other stuff. I find the texture very smooth and creamy. Also, it lasts for quite some time. I mean, I ate lunch, went shopping, munched some french fries and the color was still there. It's a bit drying, but I don't mind.
Overall this is a very good product, nice packaging too. I used to wear Maybelline lipsticks, but they don't have staying power. I think from now on Revlon will be my staple lipstick.
There are other pretty colors that I want to try so yes, I will definitely repurchase!
Edit: I find this lipstick even more drying than before, therefore I'll knock off one lippie.. I'm now loving Maybelinne Moisture Extreme lipsticks..!

I love this lipstick in Just Enough buff! it's so beautiful! its a nude that doesn't wash out my face. I'm mac nc35 with weird asian undertones that usually get washed out with lighter colors in case you were wondering.

I wish I could love this lipstick because of the huge shade selection, low price, and wide availability. I find that it doesn't go on smoothly at all, and it dries out my lips. Big disappointment!

After searching for a lipstick brand that was not drying, had reasonable staying power and had a good range of colors, I have settled on these lipsticks. Before these lipsticks I was wearing mainly BB lipsticks, but had tried many HE brands. Most of them are barely used and are taking up space in my makeup draw. DS brands were difficult to buy as you can't try them on. You can see the color of these lipsticks through the cover so that is somewhat helpful. I had to try many different colors before I found the ones that I like, but at $7.50 a pop (sometimes with a 2nd at 50% off) I can buy 3 for the price I was paying before. I think these are comparable to most HE lipsticks I've used in the past. Many of the colors are a bit too intense for me but I've found a few that work. These are definitely worth trying if you're tired of buying expensive lipsticks in the store that look awful when you get home.

I have many of these lipsticks. The textures are better than most even by dior and especially Chanel. The packaging also lasts longer because it's well made..no wonder they've been around longer than any other. If you haven't tried them you're missing out on a great treat. If you have ever checked out ingredients and colors then you'd know that these lipsticks are the same as the best brands.

Love, love this lipstick. It stays on much, much better than the MAC lipsticks I have, and the colors are great. I wear this by itself or with Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss for extra shine. Big fan!

I bought the Caramel Glace and Coffee Bean shades from Target and paid about $7.00 each. Talk about a waste of money! First of all, these lipsticks are not true to color (a typical problem for Revlon). My 2 shades appeared to be medium brown shades but one was more orange and the other was a light tan. These lipsticks feel slightly sticky and wear away quickly. I am done buying Revlon products... years ago I tried their Colorstay lipgloss and recently I tried their Colorstay lipstick as well as these Super Lustrous lipsticks.... I have been disappointed with every purchase. I can't figure out why Revlon prices their products so high when their perfomance and quality is terrible!

I love these lipsticks, in fact I have 10 of them. they are so cheap, I got them from walgreens for $8 each and buy one get one free. the colors are so beautiful and the texture are very smooth. I have dry lips, they don't dry my lip and they don't have weird smell like a lot of other drug store brands.

I got this in Wink for Pink and I think it's okay. It's a baby doll kinda pink. I can't wear this by itself because it is way to matte on my lips and it makes me look a bit odd but with a bit of nude gloss will make this lip color look really gorgeous. The texture is light - doesn't feel heavy on the lips - so that is a good thing. Overall, I like it but it was not love at first try type thing. It took me awhile to figure out how to make this color better. I might try other colors to see if I would like those that match my skin tone more.

Oh no!!!!!!!!! I just repurchased 8 of my favourite shades for dirt-cheap. They were on sale and I had Revlon coupons. I was so excited after reading they were now unscented and the new packaging is just my thing. Unfortunately the only good thing I can say about the new formula is that is is weightless -which I love, however it is also unbelievably DRYING and it doesn't last well at all. less than a half hour after applying it, it is already fading in 'patches' on my lips and gone before the hour. This is without drinking/eating/smoking or licking my lips. I find myself pining for the old formula like you wouldn't believe. :(

I can not believe ive never bought any of these before. i had a specific color in mind and this brand was the only thingt that came close. I got this in rose velvet, it is a nice mauvish, brownish pink...thusly named rose velvet. It is MLBB, for sure. I blot it on (I never put anything on my lips full-fledged) and the color lasts forever for a cream. It is a bit matte for a cream and so is a bit drying...but thats what lip balm is for. This is $5.95 or so at the target here in Dallas. A real bargain.

First of all, wow, the formula of these lipsticks are a winner! This is my first Revlon SL lipstick, and I definitely intend to get more. It's smooth and pigmented, doesn't settle into lines or slide off, doesn't feather or bleed even without lipliner, stays on really well through eating and drinking... I swear that formula-wise they are better than a lot of high end lipsticks. A tiny bit dry so I put on lipbalm underneath it, but even with that, staying power is very good! Also no scent at all, which is a big plus. The packaging is pretty classy, black and gold, and feels decently solid.
So the shade that I got was Rosewine, which is a soft red with slight corally tones... kind of a watermelon red, if you will. Not a loud, bold, RED red, but red enough that I wore it with a red top and it looked good for day. Creme formula, no shimmer. It's very pigmented so the color on your lips is exactly the color in the tube, no kidding. I am slowly getting out of sheer lipsticks and nude colors so this is something new for me. Rosewine was a flattering shade on my very warm golden skintone (NC30), nice face brightener.
I would definitely get more of these lipsticks, but not many shades are available where I am, maybe 20 shades? I will go check them out while they're still on sale. I'd give them a rating of 4.5.

I hardly ever buy drugstore lipsticks because they dry out my lips big time but after hearing positive things about the super lustrous lipsticks here on MUA, I decided to get a few. Drugstores sometimes have BOGOF sales on these so you can possibly get 2 for only 7.99 which is an awesome deal. There are a ton of shades available but it also depends on the particular store that you go to. The Walgreens by my old apartment only carries 10 shades or so while the Walgreens by my new apt carries about 40 shades so you may possibly have to try several different drugstores to get a wider selection of colors. These lipsticks are extremely pigmented..even on my naturally dark lips which really surprised me. They are also nice and creamy, not sticky at all. They are a bit drying but it's not that bad compared to other lipsticks I've used. My main complaint about this is that it comes off easily when drinking or eating so I have to take off points for that. The color that you see in the tube is also not what you necessarily get either. I've found that the colors are a bit brighter than what it looks like in the tube. Overall, these are still great because of the high pigmentation and they aren't too drying. I highly recommend these lipsticks if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a tube of lipstick.
