In general, I love MAC eyeshadows. They go on beautifully (especially the Veluxe finish ones) and rarely smudge. They also have a fantastic range of colors that's sure to have something for everyone. The price is a little steep, but they're worth every penny, at least in my humble opinion.

Their eyeshadow rocks! I am cursed with a face that normally "rejects" makeup- it comes off 2 seconds after I put it on, but their eyeshadow stays on. I put Paint (Bare Canvas)on first to help it stick and line with the eyeshadow called "Mystery". It's a dark brown color that is perfect for a natural liner. To highlight I use "Mulch" a warm brown. I think they are the best eyeshadows ever made! A little on the expensive side but worth it if you hate reapplying makeup. I am a pale person with brown eyes and dark hair.

I only wear MAC eyeshadows. The colors are amazing and you can't find them anywhere else. Never can get bored with the colors.

Ok, I dont wana write about each individiual MAC e/s I have (i have over 160), so I'll tell you guys what I think about them overall!

In MAC I'm NC40-44, Bobbi Brown Natural. I'm mixed race with an olive skintone (similar to Jennifer Lopez). My skin is Combination prone to occasional breakouts.

I find 99% of MAC e/s to be brilliant! There isnt one single colour I wont wear. For shades, MAC is deffo the best!

Staying power of MAC e.s is also unreal (IMO). I use MAC Paint in Bare Canvas as a base and my e/s will stay put for 10hrs+

MAC has a finish to suit everyone! I think my fave finish is frost!

MAC e/s are easy to blend, and I havent hit the bottom of the pan on any yet! I think my MAC e/s collection will last me years and years!!

There are colours and finishes to suit every skintone and personality!

IMHO MAC makes THE best eyeshadows!

SO worth the high cost! However, I MUST warn you, they are incredibly ADDICTING ;)... I started out buying ONE MAC blush, and i've been in love with the line ever since then. The eye shadows are all so unique, and for the most part, pigmentation is unbeatable. There are shades for every age group, for every occassion, and every season. I would highly recommend at least stopping by the MAC counter and trying them out :)!

Everyone recommended MAC e/s so often that I finally decided to give them a try. I was very disappointed. It was very difficult to blend so sometimes it would end up like a mess...and when I did have enough time to blend, blend, blend, it ended up fading away after just a few hours even with the Paint underneath. Now I still use the Paint as a base but I now use Stila e/s, which blends easier, saves a lot of time, looks beautiful, and lasts all day long.

I must confess--I am a MAC eyeshadow addict. I own:

Wedge, Velour, Shroom, Brule, Jest, Era, Shale, Petalescent, Bliss, Heavenly Bliss, Fake, Satin Taupe (these are my favorites/most used) as well as Orb, Hush, Swish, Arena, Motif, Vex, Gris, Venus, Surreal, Tilt, Trax, Mulch, Fiction, Girlie, Piccadilly, Vanilla and Vapour. That's enough, right? ;)

I love the colors, texture and wear.

I LOVE MAC SHADOWS!!!!! Every single one I buy I like! They are awesome! and not that expensive when compared to other brands (ie: NARS).The quality is excelent (they are smooth too apply, dont crease, and very blendable). MAC also has a HUGE color selection. MAC is BY FAR my favorite brand (especially for shadows). BUY THEM!

I like MAC matte solid powder eyeshadows. They go on smooth, they last pretty long, and they are delightfully blendable. The pigmentation is not watered-down and is nice and pure. The color you see in the nicely-packaged container is the color you get. I use this in Bisque. Used with BeneFit's Lemon Aid or alone, it conceals the darkness and oiliness on my eyelids. Bisque is fool-proof for me because it matches my skintone--I can just swipe it on and leave! And oh, MAC is not tested on animals, which I like!

I love these e/s! I have many of these in ranging colors! The staying power is great, I rarely have to reapply (if I use a base, I don't have to reapply at all). They blend great and have so many colors to choose from, it's hard to decide.

When I first started using the MAC eyeshadows, they went on beautifully. However, after about 2 weeks, my eyelids started itching like crazy and I had to stop using them. I thought it may just be my allergies kicking in, but my friend told me the exact same thing happened to her. I feel bad because I love the way the shadow glides on.

I love these eye shadows!!! I can't rave enough. The colour selection is fab and they last forver! My only neg. point would be that some shades are easier to work with than others but that just takes getting used to. Otherwise RAVE RAVE RAVE!!! :o)

This is my firs review post, and I decided on doing it on MAC eye shadow b/c I'm a loyal MAC user. I think so far, MAC eye shadows has been able to deliver the most versatile shades. The texture is a little thicker than other shadows I have tried so far, such as Stila, but I think with the proper brush and method, you can achieve practically any look you want, whether you're going to the beach or going on stage, MAC has so many colors that you can successfully transform yourself into any occasion. EDIT: I have taken off one lippie because although I have been an loyal MAC fan, I have recently discovered some other drugstore brands that are actually better in quality! One such as NYX, which is smoother and more pigmented than MAC e/s and it's only 3 bucks a pot. But MAC still has the advantage when it comes to color varieties.

These shadows were a bit of a disappointment. They creased on me, which I can't stand. Some of the textures are better than others. However, if I saw a really great color, I would repurchase.

MAC eyeshadows are the best! They have the widest variety, and even the wildest colors are versatile and can be worn in many different settings. The powder is very fine and the color stays on forever. Next time you go to a MAC counter, try a crazy color. You can make it as natural or as dramatic as you want to.
