subculture is the best pink l/l for latina's with pigmented lips, I love this liner, and its the only pink to ever work for me :(
color-rosey nude
texture-regular l/l a bit dry, a bit creamy, all the right amount to stay on ur lips a long time, and still apply with ease.
having red/pink full lips, I have to be careful what liners I wear, to redish pink and my lips will be to red, to pinky orange, my lips will look unatural, and same with a baby pink..
that's why subculture is absolutely perfect..its brown/nude based, and has a mix of rose/pink, when I put it on my natural lip, it almost perfectly matches exept its a little more nude.
wearing nudes everyday, its important that my l/l's match well. I love using subculture with creme d' nude l/s because its a pink/nude l/s and the liner helps bring the pink out. also myth, angel, out to shock and gel look sweet with subculture.
with all liners including subculture, I apply over my lipstick so its more natural, I think if you apply ur lipstick over ur liner, your lipstick will change colors completely. so if u have subculture and it didn't work for you..try it over your lipstick, it might just save u some liners :)
if your looking for a nude liner without the pink, go with oak. that's my number one fave l/l. but again, I apply it over my l/s, it has peach undertones.
I also own stripdown as well, it has no peach or pink, just brown tones. another good nude.
but if your looking for a pink nude, subculture is the one. its natural, and would match most lips..try it at your mac, and remember, swatching it on ur hand isn't the same as your lips, so get it sanitised and sharpened, and try it on with your fave lipstick, that's the test.
mac makes other pink liners, but to me, subculture has the most pretty affect :) try it ladies, lip liners are very important xox

This color is very close to my natural lip color, a little more brown and less pink though. Dervish is too pink, I really would need the combination of this and Dervish to get the exact color of my lips. This would be a good lip pencil for me to wear with some darker lipsticks but it's too dark for a nude lip for me (I have very fair skin with warm undertones and pigmented warm pink lips). I returned it and got Summerfruit which is the perfect nude lip liner for me, it is the only lip liner I've found that actually tones down my lips w/out looking too ashy. I would buy it again though for a darker lip but I've been on the pinky peachy nude lip look kick lately.

I LOVE this. I had never tried or worn lipliners before... I didn't understand it or know how to use it, therefore I never even considered using it. This is actually a really close match to the color of my lips. My lips are really pigmented and it's really hard for me to wear sheer lipsticks and glosses because you can see the color of my lips through the lipcolor. It's very frustrating. Subculture is the perfect color base. I will probably purchase several backups. :)

I bought this liner because I have very reddish pigmented lips, and needed something natural-looking to tone them down a bit and make it possible for me to wear something other than dark lippies. It works like a dream. The color is a neutral, pink-nude, with no cool tones (I can't wear any pinks with even the slightest hint of coolness). The pencil is a little hard, which makes it uncomfortable to apply to chapped lips, which mine often are - but there's a good side to this consistency: It stays on your lips without blending with whatever lipstick or gloss you top it with, and therefore doesn't change the shade of your ls/gloss - and this is the complaint I have with most other liners I've tried (and there's been a million of them!)
I will buy again and again.

fave everyday lip liner. it's a nude brown pink lipliner that is best worn under a light lipglass just for a casual, not-trying-for-a-certain-look feel. love it!!!!

Ideal for a nude lip and natural look. Slightly lighter than my own lip color though but still works...defines and does it's job and makes it look natural. A+

This product is for me what I expected Spice to be - the perfect nude pencil that pulls together any look and perfects lips while looking natural. Where Spice was too much of a cinnamon-brown to work in this way with my fair colouring, Subculture's pinky-nude colour works perfectly. The consistency is creamy but not too soft, and I use the pencil to subtly outline my lips for a fuller look. It is such a natural match for my lip colour that this doesn't look trashy or over-the-top as outlining tends to. Subculture is perfect for a groomed, matt look, or for adding definition to a soft glossy lip.

I heard about this from Kim Kardashian's blog....I use it with the Angel lipstick...it blends in with my natural lip color. the lipliner didn't really show up much...but the MAC Ma told me it's a good thing that you don't notice the different...you want it to look natural...and it did. This is my favorite besides the Stripdown. I would use this daily. I'm not big on lip make-up.

HG! I am not a lip liner kind of girl but this one has made me change my ways. Beautiful with nude lips or soft pinks, great with lip gloss. The PERFECT nude liner.

I wanted to try this lipliner when I saw a fellow MUAer had used this with one of the Hello kitty lipglosses. This lip pencil is a nice matte pink color. I can use this liner along with all of my pink lipsticks and lipglosses. Today I lined my lips and filled them in with this lip pencil. Subculture made my lips look so nice. It is not a neutral pink more of a soft pink. I wore Stila silver lip glaze over Subculture and wow what a combination. My lips look more like a pearlized pink. I RIS and I am sooo happy I decided to try this lip liner.

I bought this product a while ago at the CCO and have used it religiously ever since. I would describe the color as slightly darker than nude with a hint of pink or plum undertones. I usually use it just by itself for a natural look but I do wear it under viva glam 5 or hug me lipstick. The nice thing about this liner is that it goes on smoothly without tugging on my lips or drying out throughout the day. It also makes my teeth look like they were just cleaned :) what more could you ask for.

IMO this is the perfect nude lipliner. It matches my lip color perfectly and can be worn on its own without looking incomplete. I'm taking off a lippie for the lasting power, which isn't great. Looks fabulous when applied though.

I prefer a natural lip so I love Subculture by MAC. It's very nude but it still gives you that pouty look. In my opinion, this color would look great on anyone. Most of the time I line and fill my lips and then go over it with L'oreal Bare Naturale Lip Conditioner in Soft Shell or Soft Peach, or even just a plain clear gloss. MAC Subculture is a must-have for me.

I love this liner. It's a light nude with some pink to it, so it doesn't go on as brown as Stripdown can. I love using it to fill in my lips and then adding clear/sheer gloss on top, or even if I just use it to line, it's very long-lasting and natural looking and doesn't give me the dreaded liner lool. This is probably one of my fave liners ever. For reference, I am NC20-25 with pinkish lips.

HG nude lipliner. Subculture is a pale peachy nude with the tiniest bit of pink to it. This looks fantastic paired with nude lipsticks and glosses and it lasts a long time.

Perfect for defining my lips, I have no problems with application. I color my lips with this and layer on Cushy White plushglass and it gives me such pouty nude lips.
I love how it has a bit of pink in it as well, unlike the other nude lip liners the amazing MAC consultant showed me.

If this isn't exactly the same color as my lips it's only the tiny tiniest smidge darker, and I don't think I have very pigmented lips. So this is not a good product for someone looking for possibly even MLBB, because it is so nude. On top of that, it's sheer. It's peachy-pink, but slightly shimmery, a nice texture when you first apply it, but it becomes dry after a while unless you put balm on top and then it comes off very fast. About an hour I think. The shimmer looks slightly bronze to me, which adds a little dimension to the shade, and without it it could look much like silly-putty drab. The thing that bothers me about it most is the way it wears, because it does tend to sink down below my lips, so that I can only see it there, not on my lips, by a few hours, and even topped by a (deeper, but) matching lipstick I look like I was eating pork chops or something and just put lipstick on after lunch without checking the mirror. Not my kind of look.
