I have been using this product since 04, and it has always worked for me. I dont have any scars on my legs, but i am very pale in the winter. I love to wear dresses and go out on the wknds quite often, so this stuff makes sense to me. even though i am pale, i use tan glow, and i honestly think its better than spray tan. i use it all over, or better yet, wherever my skin is showing. it evens my skin tone out, makes u look thinner, and makes u look like u have some color. it does not make u look tan, by any means, and the reason i say this is better than a spray tan is because spray tans get all over everything, and always turn blotchy after a few days. this stays put until u take a shower, is never blotchy if applied correctly, and tho im not tan, i am not pal either, which is fine by me. i will continue to purchase this until they no longer make it. I just finished a bottle i bought in 06, so i think it does last a while tho i use it about once a month or so, but still, not bad.

I have 2 major gripes w/ this product. The first one is that the color selection sucks. The lightest shade, "light glow," is still too dark and orange for me and I'm not even very fair (about NC 35 in mac). The second is that the spray nozzle tends to clog up badly after a while so that it becomes difficult to get the product out. Also, there is a lot of fine shimmer in this, which can be a good thing or bad depending on your tastes. On the plus side, it is very long lasting and transfer resistant. Overall, I don't like it enough to repurchase or recommend to anyone.

I, personally, hate shimmer!! >.<

It looks flashy and unatural to me. I would suggest you put some on your arms too if you do use it. Unless having shimmery legs but not arms look normal to you.

But one thing I like is that the coverage is perfect! Veins and spots does cover up with this. I guess it depends on how thick you put on and how dark your imperfections are. Just put it on right (darker spots, thicker application) and you should have good results.

As for me, shimmer is an ultimate no no. So no good review from me. =P

i just came home from a wedding....it was hot, humid and it poured...i used airbrush legs for the first time....it was great! some of the other reviewers seemed to have sprayed the legs directly but the directions say to spray into ur hand and smooth on....i had a little bit of a tan , then the airbrush, then to make them look even better i put on a shimmer cream...it does not transfer, is pretty mistake proof and it will only come off with soap and water....i had been thinking of trying this stuff for years....i'm so glad i finally did!
*** reply to above review***
this product does not contain shimmer at all....i put the shimmer cream on my whole body (very very subtle) ... it made my legs look more natural...like i had a tan with a little sparkle ; )

I have used this many, many times and been happy with it every time. You do have to go very lightly, and don't expect bronzed goddess legs, because you won't get them. What you will get, if you take your time about applying it right, is even-toned skin with a slight hint of color. I have scars on my legs from sports, so I dab a tiny bit of concealer on them, and then go over my whole leg with this, and my legs look about 1000 times better. And it lasts pretty well. I haven't tried swimming with it, but for normal activities it works very well.
I will say, if you can, apply it outside in a garage or somewhere. Because this stuff can stain very quickly. I applied it the first time in my bathtub, and it turned the tub orange and took some serious scrubbing to get it out. Also, don't try the darker colors. They are horrible. This is the only color that looks natural.

Love this product. I have some permanent marks on my legs and a small spider vein next to one knee, this product makes them less visible and gives my legs an even tone. It does not come off easily, I have to scrub it with a washcloth in the shower to get it off. I've even gone swimming with it on and had no problems!

Make sure you apply the product as directed and be sure to get it on evenly, it dries fairly quickly.

The thing about Sally Hansen Airbursh Legs is that it might look good at first ( as it did with me, the first time I tried it. Thought I found a hidden gem ... how wrong was I ! ? ). .. I've put some this afternoon , so to look good in my dress and bare-legged for my Birthday party tonight. It indeed apply evenly and made my legs look good ( though nowhere near to covering scars , little spots or marks or red dots from shaving ! ). A few hours later , my legs are itching like Hell and all I want is to wash this thing off my legs.

Maybe if you're skin is less sensitive then mine , you wont have a problem ... I know I didnt the first time I used it. But I wont repurchase , that's one thing I know.

i tried all Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs (present of an old lady. yes. thanks.) ...

actually itīs perfect for those ugly woman who do not care if their make-up glides away or not...

iīve seen many girls walking around with spotty, muddy dirty-looking, shimmery legs - proud and feeling beautiful.

PLEEEEEASE ... thatīs the worst make-up for the legs iīve ever seen. Even a make-up artist cannot handle the arbitrary nozzel of this leg-spray.

stay away from these !

Im Irish/American Indian and tend to have pale skin. Typical Irish side. But, I can tan, after a few times of lying out. Problem is, I dont like baking myself in the sun or the bad results (cancer, leather skin, dryness, blotches, etc) I found this stuff in my local store and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! It goes on easily and leaves your skin with a flawless glow. Almost like wearing panty hose, but without having to wear them! It covers well and I don't think it looks fake at all, like some other reviewers stated. I would suggest using the nude or light glow. The other shades tend to look orangey and fake. It's great to use for a night out on the town. Like I said, gives your legs a really sexy glow and covers all your imperfections!

soo i tried this product out because, even when i do a super close shave you can kinda see black dots under the skin where the hair was, and sometimes waxing isn't an option. and call me vain, but that bothers the HELL out of me, thinking that other people can see that. and i was blessed with that, pale skin and thick dark hair that most eastern euro's are born with. lucky us.. *rolls eyes* anyways, i got this with the idea that it was kinda like foundation but for your legs? and it is kinda like that, but then..it's really dry looking. it really does look like pantyhose. haha. if that's the look you're going for then this would be perfect for you, it's why i gave it a 4. it didn't work for me because my personal preference for legs is the supple, glowing, moisturized skin look. OH, and if your legs are gonna be photographed... i.e. you're wearing shorts or a skirt to a party or the club or whatever, you might wanna try going without this, cuz uhhh....in pictures with the flash it REALLY looks like you have pantyhose on. hahah!
again, unless thats the look you're going for.
SO bottom line, it's does make legs more even and smooth, and covers any scars or marks you have, and it did hide the little dots i was worried about, but it just wasn't the product for me. =) hope that helps someone out there. =)

After reading the great reviews on this site, I was ecstatic to try this stuff - didn't work out quite as I'd hoped... I have very fair skin, almost white, and I was hoping "light glow" would somehow match my skin... not a chance. I put it on one calf and compared my legs in the mirror - the "un-airbrushed" leg looked much better, only because the airbrushed leg looked orange.

This stuff has nice coverage and I think would look great for those with more natural skin tones. With my very fair, pink/cool-toned skin, however, it is just not an option.

I bought this for my legs and I really love it but I also decided to use it as a foundation and it is so wonderful! I actually bought both nude glow and light glow. I have really oily skin, large pores and tiny flakes from RAM and this stuff just makes it all look perfect. I spray onto a sponge and then set with a little mineral powder. It's probably horrible for the face, but I hope not because I turn everything else into an oil slick within an hour. Also, this doesn't turn orange or break me out! Yay!

Eh... not what I hoped for. It's OK, but (to me) makes my legs look kind of fake. If that makes any sense. I'll probably use up what I have, but I don't picture myself buying this product again. I wish there was something just like this that would make my legs look somewhat tanned, but this just makes them look weird and sparkly.

Ok, I'll keep this short and sweet. I LOOOVE the look of pantyhose but hate wearing them, especially in the summer...and I mean, how gauche is it to wear pantyhose with shorts? I have some spider veins and a particulary hideous varicose vein above my left knee that I've had since the 8th grade and it always looks horrid with my pale pasty white legs and large blue-green vein. So I bought this hoping that I could wear some shorts, skirts, etc for the summer months, but I had low expectations cuz you never really know with this stuff. And I just have to say that I'M IN LOVE. This applied beautifully (if you follow the instructions)...it dried quickly. It gave my fish-belly white legs (and arms, and collarbone) and *slightly* deeper shade but nothing orangey or fakey looking, very very natural. Beautiful. I will purchase more.

i have this in 'nude glow' but there's no forum on which to post a review; so i picked the next best thing.

love the spray quality, makes it easy to use. it comes out beautifully with no problems...it quite funny because the first time i used it, i actually sprayed it on my legs and wondered why it was getting runny...but duh, i read the directions finally (because i never do the first time...bad habit, i know...) and it specifically says to spray it in your hands. i assume that a light mist over your legs and THEN rub it in with your hands would do...

but it goes on, looks flawless...i've got a lot of pretty bold scars and one large surgical scar on my ankle and it covers them beautifully. they don't dissappear altogether, but i didn't expect them to. it fades them dramatically. i haven't tried this in the daytime...only at night; but i'm sure it will look just as great.

Makes legs look flawless. I'm sorry, but for those who don't like how it worked when they "sprayed it on their legs," try reading the directions! It specifically states you should spray onto hands and smooth it onto your legs. Trust me, it works that way, and with very little mess.

If I got stuck in the desert, this is the one product that I would have. That's right. I would forego makeup and hair products to have my Airbrush Legs. I have extremely pale legs with scars, uneveness and the occasional bruise and while this does not cover them up completely, I'd say it covers about 85% of my problems. I for so long have hidden my legs under stuffy jeans in the uncomfortable Texas heat, but with this, I can finally wear cute sundresses and shorts and skirts and feel confident, even a little flirty. In other words, it is PERFECT for the summer! I will admit, that if overapplied, it can be hard to blend, but I spray a little water/glycerin over it to help smooth it out and it looks wonderful. I love this in Light Glow, Tan Glow and Nude Glow. I will NEVER be without this ever again!
