I specifically ordered something from Estee Lauder so I could try this as a free sample. I've been using Clarins intensive day products for years and love them, but wasn't impressed with the description of their night serum. After using this serum from EL a few weeks at night I do see a marked shrinking and lightening of stubborn age spots. I also see a softening in the deep wrinkles on my forehead, on my cheeks and above my lips. I did notice some signs of acne when I applied it to my entire face. It's a bit oily. So at night I only apply it to those specific areas. It has no fragrance, which I like.
I have to say that the "sample" came in a real bottle and is a nice size. I will be ordering the regular sized bottle in the near future. The price is reasonable, when compared to the prices of other serums, as it's listed at $55 for an ounce.

I'm rating this product based on the normal price, but I have a GWP which I've been using for the last three weeks, every night. I have super oily/combination skin, hormonal and other spots and hyperpigmentation. Alpha H Liquid Gold has stopped working for me so I've been slotting this serum into my normal skincare routine and can see a difference in the pigmentation and general texture and glow of my skin. It's as oily as ever but otherwise fantastic results. I only use a tiny amount to cover my entire face. I already have a Vitamin C serum to try next but I can see myself returning to this one whenever I need extra help.

I've been a die hard Mary Kay fan for many years, yet as the years go by, I wanted to try something different on my skin. At the age of 32 I am starting to find fine lines appearing near my eyes - which are of course understandable - but one is still vain. Since I ran out of my night solution I decided to try this product. My mother loves it and I gave it a shot. Immediately the next day I noticed results. My skin was much softer and brighter. Less than a week in, I wake up to luminous skin that looks and feels refreshed. All I have to do in the mornings is slap on some SPF and moisturizer and off I go. It is pricey I think, but it lasts a long time, as only a few drops are needed for the entire face.

This is a serum that has stood the test of time. Im truly happy that my skin met its friend. For just six days of using this together with my cheap products i.e. kojic soap (am & pm), medicated toner prescribed by my derma (am & pm), ANR (pm only) plus sunblock (am) and EL Double Wear (am) my skin has never been the same. My skin is even-toned, less oily, glowing and looked younger. I hope that the effects will last as long as i continue this. Thanks EL for ANR. Will definitely repurchase.
Edit: On my 2nd week of using this, so far my skin has never been this better. No pimples, just even-toned and radiant skin. No eyebags or dark undereyes.
On my 32nd day of using ANR, finally I have the guts not to wear a foundation, even the EL DW.
On my 33rd day, I decided to put on Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme bacause of the hype and many positive reviews. For just 6 hours of wearing it, tiny painful pimples came out of my chin. What a big mistake! This time around will promise to be faithful to EL's products.

I received the night repair serum as a deluxe sample and having tried it, I feel that it is a very good serum. Overnight, my skin did become more supple and felt more hydrated- which are my main concerns with dry patches on my combination skin. It feels lightweight and non-greasy, which is a plus. I would recommend spritzing actual water or even mint water which i do after brushing my teeth ( VERY minty indeed) onto your face followed by the serum- the sensation is awesome! ( no pun intended on toothbrushing your face though, funny enough)
I don't know whether it is a coincidence or not, but the smell and scent and even runny texture of the serum really reminds me of the radiant serum by La Mer I once used from my mum. Finding that Estee Lauder do own parts of La Mer, perhaps some of their ingredients do coincide sometimes. ( Which I mistakenly used in the day and promptly burnt me down to ashes)
Overall, a very good serum!

I have been using this for over 2 years now and basically don't see any major difference. If I feel that my skin is super-dry or damaged from sun exposure after a week on the beach, I will put it on at night under my moisturizer, and my face will look a bit better after a week of using it. But compared to other serums I have used such as Clarins, not much difference and not better.

Tried for about 2 weeks every night. I ended up breaking out daily so I discontinued use.

My mother gave me a sample of this product (I suspect she didn't realize its value!) and I've used it every night prior to applying night cream for the past two weeks.
Results: I've seen a huge difference in my skin. It is softer, less oily, more evenly toned, and my pores are less clogged. Overall, it is seems to have balanced out my skin, which prior to this was patchy, oily, dry and clogged.
I've had a difficult time figuring out a routine for my late 20s/almost early 30s skin after having it easy up until now. I've recently combined this with Vichy's Liftactiv Retinol HA Night cream, and my skin hasn't looked this good in years!Yesterday, a cosmetic rep told me I looked like a baby, and was shocked when I told her my age.
So, all in all, though the price may be high, this product works for my skins current age.
Words of wisdom: Research what age your skin is before buying this or any product - yes, you can use any product you'd like, but that doesn't mean it will be effective for the current state of your skin.
ETA: The smell is a tad strong, but it fades quickly and doesn't ruin its effectiveness for me.

I bought my first bottle some months ago. I've wanted to test this out for so long but because of the hefty pricetag, haven't. Anyway the scent is a bit grassy or medical. Kind of difficult to describe but it's not very strong. It glides on smoothly to the skin and absorbs easily. I feel that it's plumping up my skin a bit. Also perhaps it looks more dewy. I bought another bottle of it already but I'm not 100% sure if this is worth the money. Also i've only used half of the 30ml bottle but i decided to test it out thoroughly so that's why the new bottle. I do like this but im just not sure if i like it that much. After that another bottle im sure i've figured that out. I like the package and with that pipette it's easy to use. I've read many people say you only need like 2 drops but that is so not enough. And i don't think my face is that large or big that it'd reguire more :) Oh, one more thing. Doesn't make my skin brake out but there's no oils in this.

Let me preface this by saying I am a high-end cosmetic brand junkie. I love treating myself (all too often) and getting a beautiful chancel compact, a lovely Guerlain bronzer, a YSL lippie, anything that comes with a little velvet protective pouch, i'm into it. Ironically enough, I never really had the same feelings for skincare. It's not interesting to me, and I don't care to splash out cash on skincare. I mean, I've been using dove soap on my face for the past two years, and for a really long time I just used whatever store brand moisturizer looked good. I recently received a sample of this when stocking up on the Bronze Goddess perfume. I really wasn't too interested in trying it, but i was curious since a bunch of bloggers & youtubers sing the praises of this on a monthly basis. So I used it for the first time a week ago, and I was blown away. My pores looked tighter, my pimples were healing and on their way out. The one random cystic blemish that I had been treating with no avail, was nearly gone, and my dark pigmentation areas were suddenly brighter and less noticeable. I thought I was seeing things so I asked my boyfriend to double check. This product is phenomenal. Not only does it condition skin and prep it for the treatments and moisturizers you put on top of it, it nourishes skin and helps it look the best that it can look. So amazing. I finally ran out of my sample last night and I felt like a crazy woman digging into the package, pulling out scissors, etc. I felt really desperate, and that's when I knew that I didn't want to be without this.
Go get a sample, and see if your results are close to mine!
I'm off to purchase the fullsize right now!
