Here's one problem I've had through out the years with foundations, all drug store foundations I could afford were greasy! I have oily skin so this is a problem I switched to Department store cosmetics for awhile and was satisfied yes....until I moved out of my parents place and needed to switch back to drugstore well I picked this out for whatever reason and I LOVE IT! gives me a pretty even skin tone without concealing by beauty marks or hazing over them showing people I wear foundation. I haven't had a problem with fading and I work around greasy food all day waiting tables so I've tested it harshly.
I apply it with a mac Skunk brush and pat it on blend and that's it it looks so nice natural and doesn't feel like a layer of grease.
I love this hope this helps someone

PROS: when blended well, the color truly looks flawless on my face, but not too heavy, more on the sheer, light/med coverage side. i like to apply with my fingers for a slightly dewy finish. i like the range of color, and since its an inexpensive drugstore foundation, its good to know i can go out and get a new color for when im more pale or tan depending on the season. i have oily and somewhat sensitive skin and i break out easily; however i have not with this.
CONS: smells weird, lasts for about 5 hours on me (and t-zone must be re-done completely, regardless if i set it with powder), sometimes the color "separates" when dispensed from the pump; therefore you must blend it before you put it on your face, and again blend on your face to get the most flawless outcome. feels "wet" for longer, so i need to be careful setting with powder not to smudge/look caked on.

I'll start off by saying that I know this isn't the 'best' liquid foundation. It has it's flaws, certainly. It takes a long time to dry and comes off way too easy--probably lasts about 4-5 hours at most and forget it if you start sweating.
That being said, I really, really do like this foundation and here's why--
My shade, Classic Ivory, is like the HG match to my skin. It gives me a gorgeous dewy, porcelain look to my skin while at the same time, having light, natural enough coverage to keep it from looking like I slapped on a mask. It feels light on my skin, and goes on so easily and blends very well.
I'm ridiculously gun shy with trying new foundations, so much so that I've maybe tried three others besides this one, and even after finding another that I like, this is the foundation I keep coming back to, and feel most comfortable with. So rather than HG, we'll call it my safety blanket foundation and for that purpose? It works pretty darn well.

This is a really decent liquid foundation.
The pros:
It's lightweight. It doesn't feel heavy. The coverage is light and can be built slightly.
It's blendable, and it can look like skin. It's also really easy to apply.
It didn't break me out.
And it's cheap!
The cons:
Shade 405 was too dark for me. It's probably about an NW15.
It clings to dry patches.
Every time I used the foundation, I would need to pump and throw away the first pump, because the color had separated (and I did shake the bottle beforehand).
It did oxidize slightly over the day.
I wasn't thrilled with it, but if I ever had a liquid foundation emergency, I would run out and grab this one.

I really liked this a lot. I use to use it all the time. The only down side is that it looks obvious if you have any dry patches. Other than that, it is amazing. I want to try the mousse now, as I haven't used this in awhile and was just reminded of this on here. So I will be sure to give a review on that when I buy some.

This is an okay foundation-- the coverage is light, and it's a tad greasy. It blends well and has a pump which is great! This foundation broke me out though, I'm not really sure why. It's Just not the foundation for me :(

Well, if you need good coverage, DO NOT get this foundation. It is light coverage, if anything. It is so liquid-ey, that it can slide all over my face like a slip n slide. And the color--got the lightest color they have and it is STILL too dark for me. "sigh" if only it was a better coverage.

I LOVE this liquid foundation. I love that it has a pump so I don't get too much product on me. I pump once or twice on my hand, close to my thumb, and with a foundation brush I apply it evenly. Once it dries and sets, I have a powder look without any sort of shine. Sure it doesn't give fantastic coverage, but that's what concealer is for. It's the perfect summer foundation because it doesn't fade so quickly. Unless you're sweating buckets. And I also have sensitive skin and this stuff doesn't make me break out or get any red rashes, which is the best part. I always have to be careful with that.
I'm surprised there's so many negative reviews, and it's funny that most pertain to the color of the shade they bought. There is a simple solution to that: buy a different shade! Or not, your loss.

This is my current fave liquid makeup, and I own MANY both high and low end, so that's saying a lot! I usually just stick with tinted moisturizers because I like to look natural, and most foundations slide off my oily skin, but this foundation looks so natural, it sort of melds into the skin, and it holds up all day on my very oily tzone. I'm about a MAC NC40, and I use #4 Warm Beige and it's a perfect color match. I work for a cosmetic brand, and was putting this on at work, and all the cosmetic girls I work with had me put it on them and said they were gonna go buy it, cuz they love it too! So you if you want light, natural looking coverage that lasts, this might be the makeup for you!

I really like this foundation.. It's creamy and blends well. It's light to medium coverage.. which is great for me cause I hate full coverage cause I find it tooooo cakey. I love the fact that it has a pump too! (:

I'm not very happy with this foundation. Coverage isn't very good, and if i don't slather on moisturizer before it makes my skin look really dry even if it isn't. The worst is that even when I get it to look right, it doesn't last for more than an hour or two without needing a touch-up.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could. I am satisfied with it and will purchase it again, but it's very basic and only good on those good skin days, as the coverage is very sheer. I like this on days when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup and am just running errands. My only complaint is that it doesn't blend very well and the pump can get messy after awhile. But shade 410 Classic Ivory matches me soooo perfectly that I have to purchase again!!
EDIT: The more I use this, the less I like it. It's REALLY hard to blend and it doesn't cover anymore. I also suspect that it's making me break out. I'm returning it!!

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on the TruBlend liquid makeup, I have always just used CG pressed powder alone because liquid foundations always seemed to be too dark or yellow on my fair skin. I have a fairly uneven skintone which shows through powder alone so I thought I would try the CG TruBlend in Ivory, and it is absolutely perfect on my skin. When I first applied it, it seemed a little yellow but after 5 minutes it seemed to change color to match my skin perfectly and flawlessly. I always apply the CG Clean pressed powder overtop for a glowing, even complexion that looks so smooth. I apply it with a wedge sponge, one pump is always enough for full coverage, the pump does get a little messy after awhile, but it's nothing a kleenex cant fix. It seems a bit pricey to me at about $14, but I suppose it is worth it for how long it takes to actually use it all up.

I tried this as I saw it on a pound store so I thought, what the heck!
Coverage = sheer
Texture = oily and thick. Therefore, I don't recommend this on oily skinned people. It literally started to melt of my face within an hour of application and just turned blotchy. I couldn't find a good colour to match my tan skin, most where too light or too orange.
I only got it for £1 so I can't really complain! Not repurchasing.

On a whim I decided to try this foundation. Well CG missed the boat this time.
This foundation is very greasy, slides around as you're blending, & does not "adhere" to your skin. And I donot have oily skin; in fact it's on the dry side, even in the summer. After I allowed time for it to set, it still felt sticky & looked greasy/oily. The coverage is also very poor, for as thick as the formula is.
Packaging is so-so; I think the pump dispenses too much at a time, & the color selection is poor.

Comparing this product to other Covergirl liquid foundations, I found this one to be by far the best. I really like the packaging, and the amount of make up the pump gives is perfect, and the consistency of the make up isn't runny. I would say coverage for this product is between light and medium. This works for me, because I don't like to have heavy amounts of coverage all over my face. One downside, is it seems to make the appearance of skin a little dull, so I always use a face illuminator along my cheeks and temple to add some luminescence. Now after a long day, my skin tended to become a little more oily from this product so I periodically go and check my face every few hours or so if I can. Even better, carry oil blotting sheets and just lightly blot NOT rub on your face. Rubbing causes the make up to be removed. The price of this product is average for drugstore make up, and isn't overly expensive. In a nutshell, I do enjoy using this product and will probably continue using it for a long time.

Pros...
-Lovely packaging--1,000 times better than the dreadful design of Cover Girl's Clean Makeup!
-Sheer, dewy, natural-looking coverage
-Blends very easily (*over a good moisturizer or primer*)
-Doesn't feel like anything on the skin
-Fairly inexpensive (mine was about $12)
-Will last you a while! I don't even use full pumps on a day-to-day basis--that's far too much!
-If blended correctly and or set with a powder will not transfer onto clothing, hands, etc.
Cons...
-If you sweat easily (like I do), it will immediately make your face look oily--so you'll need to touch up.
-OK color selection--not great, but it'll do.
-Cheap pump. Whilst cleaning it, it popped right off and wouldn't go on properly again :(
-At the end of its lifespan, when there's still a bit of product left, it won't dispense it (which I suppose is an issue with every pump foundation, but it is bothersome! I hate wasting product). It's nearly impossible to get it out of the narrow jar, too.
-This isn't really a con for me, but it doesn't cover blemishes. I don't break out in true pimples often (mostly I just get annoying little whiteheads), but when I do I don't like them to be covered up--I feel like that makes them worse!
All in all, I like it! Yes, it can get oily, but it gives you a nice glow. It's very sheer, too, like a tinted moisturizer, but eliminates the redness in my cheeks.
