This lipglass surprised me. I bought it without trying it on, which could have been a major disaster. I was expected some sort of red, possibly a little garish for PPP me, but it's just the most beautiful berry shade with gold shimmers. A deeper YLBB shade, it make me look natural, but polished. On me, it does not look like "O", "O" is much more bronzy, whereas Gaze is deeper. Lovely!

*Gaze* is SUCH a beautiful color. Gold-fizzled raspberry. It reminds me of Nymphette in the way that the color shimmers with the delicate particles. A pigmented raspberry Nymphette, IMO.
This color looks very similar to my Spark Glossimer, but I prefer the packaging and formula of the lipglass. It is also similar to Delux's Norris.
A beautiful shade, no matter what time of the year it is worn. Perfect for every season. Smooth and long lasting. I would definitely repurchase. ♥

I wasn't sure of this color from the pictures--but it is absolutely beautiful!! It is very similar to "o" lipstick as everyone has said--but with shine. This is my favorite lipglass by far and one I can see myself using a lot.

I agree with reviewers below--this lipglass is a definite winner from the femme noir collection. It's a stunning red berry with fine golden shimmer. Looks perfect for the day or night and would make a great fall color, although I am one of those who wears whatever looks good year round despite the change in season :)
A bit drying and medium lasting power like all MAC lipglasses. If you can only purchase one l/g from this collection, don't forget this one!

Gaze is sooo gorgeous ~ I agree that it is similar in color to O l/s, minus a lot of the brown O has and with more berry. MAC describes the shade as a 'gold-fizzled raspberry', and that is a perfect description. Its gold microshimmer is extremely fine and shimmers beautifully when the light reflects upon it. This is a *gorgeous* berry hued lipglass ~ It makes my lips look huge, glassy and shiny. :) (GGG/MMM Olive)

On my lips Gaze is more of a deep berry-ish pink, with lots of golden shimmer. A very nice shade, that should definitely be a hit with fans of Lovechild and Pop Mode. It's simply gorgeous. And it's different enough to justify having all three, I might have to stock up on this one!

This is such a beautiful colour. I have Pop Mode as well, which some say is in the same family as Gaze, but I think they are rather different. Gaze is more of a true berry with gold shimmers and gives me a sexy, very bitten look. I love this, you should buy this. It's definitely a keeper!

This is going to be one of my favorite lipglasses ever. Unfortunately, it's a limited edition. *sigh*Gaze is a berry red with gold shimmer. It reminds me of WTF? Goldberry, except that there is not as much gold to it. I suppose this is the one that people were talking about that is Mac "O" in a gloss. It is slightly berry, slightly plummy, slightly red and I really believe this is a subtle enough red that anyone can wear it. It's just beautiful.
