This is the perfect eye shadow base for me. I used to use Starlight but then I realized it was a little too light. Wheat (shimmery beige color) is more subtle and it blends better with other brown tones. I use it almost everyday.

Everytime I look at Wheat, it reminds me of something really expensive, sorta like an alloy of platinum, white gold, with a tad of yellow gold along in it. It's really, really shimmery/frosty, in a completely classy and understated kind of way... The colour, which is a couple tones lighter and less brown than actual wheat, is the perfect lid/base/complementary shade for anything brown toned. The texture is almost creamy, a great thing in such a shimmery shadow. It wears wonderfully, although it does somewhat fade along the day (especially in the summer heat), but it doesn't crease, and the shimmer doesn't migrate. An absolute staple for me, now that I've found it.

Wheat is tan with a silver frost. I like it as a subtle under-brow highlighter. Could also be used as a wash over the entire eyelid.

I think I'm officially a Stila convert. I love BB but sometimes it's too subtle, and went to MAC for color selection. But Stila's texture and pigmentation is just fantastic. Stays on all day and never creases.

Wheat is a beautiful shimmer tan color, similar to BB shimmerwash in Beige but with slightly more shimmer. It's about the color of my lids (NC30/35), but adds some pretty shimmer without the frost. Great neutral color.

Lovely natural wash for the eyes! There's some shimmer but it's not over-the-top. I applied it right over my eye shadow base and it's a tad frosty...next time I'll try another reviewers suggestion of applying it over a nude shadow for a better application. I have this in the Stila Shimmer Palette.

Wow, love it! My first Stila shadow, and the quality is great. Gorgeous wash that works with so many other colors. I got it in the Sephora duo with Espresso which compliments it very well. Great staple/everyday color for your collection.

A golden taupe-y beige with lotsa shimmer. Itīs best to layer it over a base (nude) shade as it can turn dirty otherwise. Goes perfect with La Douce or Golighty.

This is one eyeshadow that should be in everyone's collection. Perfect neutral beige/tan, with just the right amount of shimmer. This shadow pairs wonderfully with just about any other Stila shadow.

My favorite combinations with Wheat:

Wheat base/Sage crease/Espresso liner
Wheat base/Grace crease/Barefoot liner
Wheat base/Barefoot crease/Dahlia or Poise liner (one of the Red Carpet looks)

This is one of my fave neutral, easy-going shadows. Wheat is a neutral-toned, very shimmery khaki/champagne. It's a bit too dark to wear as an allover wash on my light MAC NC20/Stila B/LM Warm Ivory skintone, but perfect as a lid color that's still subtle. I either wear it alone, with full dark lashes or with my new Stila Smudgepot in Brown to line. Stunning shade for all eye colors! **UPDATE** 6/04: My new fave combo: Ecru as a base/allover wash, Wheat on lid, Golightly in crease (applied very lightly/sheerly), with Hint Cheek Color & Baie Lip Pot.

Reminds me of BB beige shimmerwash e/s. The name is true to it's description. It is a wheat colored eyeshadow. It is great as a base and can be paired with many Stila e/s.

Wheat is such a beautiful shimmery, beigey color. This color looks so good on my lids against my green eyes. If you are warm-toned, you may not like this. Wheat is probably better for the neutral to cool toned.

This is a very good & natural-looking shimmery tan/brown. It isn't earth-shaking, but it's the one I seem to reach for more than any other eyeshadow. Really flattering against green eyes, and it goes on sooo smoothly.

This is a very nice neutral shimmery eyeshadow which goes well with all skin colors. Applies easily and lasts a long time. Very versitile color. It would get 5 lippies if it were a bit more pigmented and if it were not in this horrible cardboard container. It seems so contradictory for Stila to package their products so poorly. EDIT: Stila's shadows are so poorly packaged, that the color sometimes runs over the cardboard, thus wasting amounts of it. It is as if these are designed to be taken out and put in the pan, which makes them much more than the $15 for which they sell.

This is my absolute favorite Stila eyeshadow. I had been wanting to try it for awhile now, and I was so excited when I found out that it came with the Stila Confection for Eyes! IMO, this color would look great on anyone. This shadow can be worn alone for a natural look, or used with other shades for a more colorful look. I love to use Wheat as a lid color paired with Stila Sun e/s and MAC Melon pigment.

Of all the Stila shadows I have, this is the only one I've worn down to the pan. It's a great neutral I was introduced to when it first came out (this on the browbone, Auburn in the crease, Twig to line - the combination really made my hazel eyes pop!). It's got a slight green cast to it, and I love the way it looks with Irma LaDouce and Holly Golightly.

This is a shimmery taupe/khaki shadow. It's a bit too close to the colour of my skin though. A good choice for a shimmery neutral, if that's what you're after, but not the most exciting shadow ever.

i was searching for a great base colour that would be similar to UD Midnight Cowboy without the glitter. this is as close as i've found. it is a perfect neutral for my light yellow based skin, it gives me the perfect hint of colour and shimmer. it stays on all day, and doesn't crease.

It is so interesting how every color is so different from person to person. On my very fair skin I would describe wheat as a shimmery golden beige, but most definitely more gold for me. I really like this color though it warms up my skin.

This is a beautiful neutral color, great as a wash for everday use. I found that it goes on smooth and lasts longer when I apply it with a wet brush. I think it looks similar to Starlight on, but I like it better.
