I have loved this fragrance since the first time I smelled it as a child. My very chic French aunt has been wearing this fragrance for years, and the scent brings back memories of visits to her beautiful home. I also remember seeing the beautiful little bottle on her vanity...it's exactly my style.

I DO smell the similarities between Eclat D'Arpege and D&G Light Blue, but in the past I remember thinking Light Blue smelled too citrusy. Nowadays I love both of these fragrances and constantly get compliments on them. :)

I don't love it, but I like it. Its simple flowers and I always have to be cautious with flowers. Not really exquisite in any kind. It's okay as far as simple white flower perfumes go.

This is my new HG perfume! It smells so pretty, not overly floral or sweet. I've used it everyday for almost 2 months and that's really saying something for me. I always respray before bedtime so I can smell it all night. LOVE! **UPDATE** Still lovin' it! :)

I bought this duty free at Changi Airport and as I was late for my flight didn't really think about it. At first thought it was light and floral but wondered how it would last. However today ,two hours after application a young woman in a cafe asked me what was the great fragrance I was wearing! It is perfect for everyday and unlike many of todays fragrance's is has no overtones of chemicals.

I put this in the #2 spot in the 2007 top 25 so I figured I should write a review. I bought this fragrance unsniffed due to the other reviews comparing it to D&G Light Blue, which is a fragrance I wanted to love but couldn't. This turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. It is a fresh, bright scent that isn't at all sharp. It's also a bit warm, where Light Blue was more astringent. Because it does smell "appley" it's great to wear spring thru fall, and even in the winter as a pick-me-up. Although it is a fruity floral, but the fruits and florals are unique among most of todays scents. I'd be tempted to make this my signature scent if I didn't love variety. As it stands now it just holds a very special place in my collection, and may end up being the first full bottle I use up....and I will DEFINITELY replace it! The only downside is it's lasting power, but it really is no less than most fragrances of this type (clean/fresh/fruity) so I can't complain too much.

I just discovered this fragrance at Nordstrom and really love it. I agree with other reviews that is does not last very long.

I love love love this perfume although it similar lot like D&G's Light Blue and Moschino's I love Love. Personally, Eclat does not go rancid on me unlike Clinique's Happy or L'eu Par Kenzo. The scents lasts for a long time.

I will buy this perfume over and over again.

I'll quote Cuci in saying that this is a cheerful fragrance for happy women. I definitely love it, and I especially love the bottle and the lavender tones of the fluid. The fragrance doesn't last long, but it pays for not being overwhelming as most long lasting fragrances are.
OK, it's really very similar to D&G Light Blue, but while I would never buy a D&G product (they scream "cheap" and "mediocre" to me) I'll go for this Lanvin one, it's more sophisticated.

My HG scent last summer! A beautiful fruity/floral and I love the color/bottle. Although I have to agree with whoever said it doesn't have great lasting power.

I smelled Light Blue once shortly after purchasing this and I guess I have an untrained nose because it smelled strikingly similar to me.

I really do like this scent, however, it doesn't have much staying power on me. I liked it so much, and I got so much comment when I did wear it, I found if I used the shower gel and the body lotion too, it had much more staying power. It does smell wonderful.

I am almost done with my first bottle. I love it the first time I smell it in Saks. It's light and fresh. It kind of remind me of apples. People at my job loves it. Its staying power is pretty good too.

I really wanted to love this perfume, but something about it is too fruity. It doesn't stay with me and just seems a little lackluster. I would prefer a little more floral background.

I love Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege. My friend recommended this to me and, at first, I thought it smelled like one of my HG perfumes- D&G Light Blue. But as the hours passed, I noticed that the scent did not dissipate. Rather, it developed into something more classy and a bit sensual but still fun. I so love this perfume to pieces. I'll buy hundreds of bottles more!

I bought Eclat for my wedding three years ago, and I've been wearing it ever since. Smells like Paris to me -- a little obscure, a bit light and feminine, but full of character (as someone else said) and no one else wears it. It's a little bit mysterious. The bottle is gorgeous, like something you found in the attic. I haven't had any problems with staying power, but I don't like to smell people's perfume unless I'm nearly on top of them. If you want a faint but rich, sweet but interesting fragrance, this is it.

Smells just like sweet apples on my wrist, reminds me a little of Aussie Apple Custard shampoo. Bit too sweet and too girly for me, but I do recognize it's quality: it does not stink or sickens me, it is not synthetic either. It's just not my type of scent and I expected quite something else looking at the lovely lilac colored bottle.
