VERY oily! My eyes get really dry so I can't complain too much because everything else makes my undereyes dry and flaky. It worked really well at removing my eye makeup and a little goes a long way. It's really cheap too I think maybe $3 bucks. I would recommend this only to people with really dry skin as the oil can be a little overwhelming!!!

Good for cleaning my some eye makeup brushes and makes them softer.

Gets all of my eye makeup off easy. Oily, yes- but it only takes a drop or two on each eye to get all of the makeup off. On top of this, it doesn't bother my eyes. And when I'm done removing eye makeup, I just have to wipe my eyes with a clean towel or wash my face to get the remover off.

It gets off my HIP creme liner like it's nothing and super thick mascara.

This product sucks big time! My HG waterproof eye makeup remover is the Loreal Waterproof Eye & Lip makeup remover. But lately... I can't find it anywhere, only the gentle version which sucks too.

I cannot describe how much this crap sucks. First off, very very oily. Second, does not get my waterproof eye makeup off after leaving my eyes all watery and greasy. The most disgusting thing is after using it (I have to wash my face again after using this just to get the grease off), the next morning I put on fresh mascara and they smudge so easily, like all over my undereye after I blinked twice. I looked like a racoon! My mascara never smudges.

It sucks for the following reasons:
1. Too oily
2. Doesn't get all the makeup off
3. Burns your eyes!
I definitely do NOT recommend this!

I think it's so hilarious that this product gets so many poor reviews. Yes, it's oily-- that's why it removes waterproof eye makeup so well-- but it does the trick every time. I use so little of it when I use it, the bottle lasts 6 months easily! I have tried a lot of higher end EMRs but I come back to this every time. The oiliness might be a liability for some (esp. those with acne-prone or oily skin already), but for me, whose lids are naturally dry, this gives a gentle cleansing and moisturizing effect that I really need. Also, if you're waking up with eye makeup caked under your eyes, you're likely using too much of it. Two or three drops on a cotton pad is all it takes...then I go back over it with a clean pad. Done!

I hate this product. They are correct when they say, "for waterproof mascara." And, it does remove it very well. HOWEVER, it is just 100% mineral oil, that' why it feels so stinking greasy! If you want, you can look in the section of the drugstore where they sell witch hazel, rubbing alcohol, etc and you usually will find a large bottle of the same exact stuff (mineral oil or as the cosmetics industry would say, "waterproof eye makeup remover") for half the price of this dinky bottle. What a rip-off!

OR, you can walk over to the little travel/sample sizes and see if they have a small bottle of baby oil. Yes, Baby Oil...it's just mineral oil and fragrance that smells like baby! I love the Johnson & Johnson brand as it has this little flip top which allows me to put 1 or 2 drops of oil on my index finger and very gently rub it on each of my lash lines...I use my finger almost like a mascara wand. Then, after just a half a minute or so, I use a tissue to simply wipe away the black, smudgy, already dissolved mess from my eyes. I immediately follow up with my regular foaming cleanser to get rid of the oily residue around my eyes.

I have been using waterproof mascra and baby oil to remove my waterproof mascara every day for the last 25+ years. Despite some claims that waterproof mascara will damage your lashes, I really believe it's the harsh removers and scrubbing that does all the damage. If you let the mascara dissolve in the oil, and then just gently swipe it away, you don't damage your lashes at all! Cheap, fast and a travel size bottle of baby oil lasts a good 6 months at least. Plus, in a rush, I can use the baby oil as a nail/cuticle oil substitute for a quick taming of dry ragged cuticles before heading out the door!!

This is the worst eye make-up remover I've ever used! It's too oily that leave my eyes globbed together with oil. It feels more like baby oil. It is "moisturizing" like its name, but way too oily for me. Took me more time to remove the oil than my make-up.
I bought it cuz I was buying some Maybelline mascara, so I thought might as well give it a try. After my first use, I realized "what you buy is what you get."
Now I use it to clean my lash comb and lash curler. Definitely won't buy it again.

This makeup remover was so oily. Even after washing my face, I would still wake up the next morning with oily, blackened eyes (since I couldn't wipe off all the mascara).

For as greasy and expensive ($5.50) as this stuff is, you might as well buy J&J's baby oil and save yourself four bucks! I use it to take off Maybelline Soft&Full waterproof mascara at night and I still wake up with raccoon eyes. Disappointing.

Yes, this product is oily but it works. For me, at least. I have relatively "easy" skin to care for so I just wash my face with bar soap and that takes care of the oil. From stubborn, super waterproof mascara to eyeshadow, it takes it all off. But, yes (I must agree), it is VERY oily and greasy.

This cheap drug store brand manages to remove my toughest waterproof makeup without irritating or drying out my skin. The is especially important for my delicate eye area-- the last area where I want to do any damage through scrubbing just to remove my makeup. Soak a small piece of toilet paper, press up against eyelashes for 3 secs., then you're ready to wipe away the makeup easily. And it's dirt cheap!!! I love this product.

I purchased this product because I use one of Maybelline's waterproof mascaras. This product does not take off the mascara and it leaves a really oily film on the eyes (I have oily eyelids as it is, I don't need more oil). I would not recommend this product and I am still searching for a good and inexpensive makeup remover.**edit** If you are looking for a eye makeup remover use vaseline, I wear waterproof makeup and vaseline takes it off so well, and it is very inexpensive!

This is the worst product I have ever used! I really hate everything about it. Like most everyone has already stated it is super greasy & does not remove even non waterproof mascara/eye makeup. I've given this soooo many chances but I end up with the same greasy mess on my face that won't wipe off & I have to wash & wash my face to try & remove the now black & goopy oil sitting on my eyes. Also no matter how hard I try to keep the oil out it always seeps into my eyes & makes my vision blurry & my eyes burn & get bloodshot. I have noticed I get breakouts around my eyes after a few days from this cr&p to:( I finally just threw this out so I won't forget how horrible it is & try it again! If your in a scrape I suggest using ANYTHING but this!

This can't remove anything - not mascara, not liner, not shadow, nothing. Not even makeup that ISN'T waterproof. I have to put it on, rub like crazy, put MORE on, rub even more, and sometimes I even have to apply MORE and rub MORE. It is insane. I'm soo over it, I switched to L'Oreal Gentle Remover for Eyes and Lips, which is much better. Don't bother with this gunk. You might as well use cooking oil.

It seems like Maybelline just packaged some clear cooking oil and passed it off as an eye makeup "remover". This doesn't remove anything at all - even non-waterproof mascara. This is utter garbage.

I really hate this eye makeup remover. I've had to buy it a couple of times in a jam, and every time I regret spending the money. It is the greasiest product I've ever used. I use a waterproof Maybelline mascara, and it isn't even able to take it off well. Aside from being really greasy, it takes a long time to get everything removed, then extra time to wipe all the (it feels just like baby oil) off my eyes. On top of that, it has a really tiny whole to pour it out of, and if I'm not careful about drizzling it around my cotton ball, it will just keep absorbing in one small spot, not big enough to wipe across my eye.

THIS IS CRAP. I wish I had read up on it before buying it. It doesn't remove ANYTHING. my facial wash works better at removing my mascara/makeup then this! It's pretty cheap but so not worth it. It's all goopy and oily, and you have to rub like a mad person to get anything off. it's just not worth it. DON'T BUY IT!

I don't like this stuff at all. It is greasy and you really have to rub to get the water proof mascara off. Try Rimmel's eye makeup remover, it works!!
