Blech. Heavy and greasy. Smells like candy. It detangles well but it leaves your hair coated and icky.

I do not see what the big deal is about this conditioner I felt like it didn't do a great job conditioning my hair and its pricey for the mediocre job it did. Will not be buying again.

I love the old Humectress. One reviewer said it has been reformulated and called Humectn. There is a Humectin however it is a different Nexxus line sold in salons. Humectress HAS BEEN REFORMULTED, IT IS STILL CALLED HUMECTRESS AND IS LOADED WITH SILICONES. Sorry, I felt I had to make that clear and it is sold in grocery and drugstores. Why they felt they had to add all those silicones I don't know, but I will not purchase the new version.

I have always loved this conditioner. It leaves my hair super soft and managable. I don't use it all the time since my hair does have a tendacy to get heavy if I use the same product all the time. But this is one I use the most and it is always in my "rotation"

I really like this stuff. It smells very nice, kinda "beachy". The best part is that if makes my wavy, frizzy hair much more managable.
If this product has a downside, it's the cost. I get mine at Costco for $26 for a very large bottle.
Overall, I would suggest this product to anyone who needs to bring moisture back to their hair.

I have thick course Asian hair, and Humectress works OK if I rinse it out. Nothing to write home about. As a leave-in conditioner, though, oh boy! It makes my hair super soft and smooth. And I love that it doesn't contain silicones!

This conditioner has now been reformulated and is called Humectin, a previous reviewer has said that the new formulation contains silicones..... this is not true! However the Keraphix which is excellent has also been reformulated and is now called Enphuse has got 2 difficult to remove silicones in it. This and also the new version are both fantastic - great smell too.

I like this product. It works pretty good on my normal hair. I am a natural brunette so I cant say that this will help blonds not turn their hair green after swimming. I lathers SO SO SO good, and it has antioxidants! The smell is perfect, like coconut or something. And its pretty cheap. I bought mine at the grocery store but have seen it at Target, CVS, Wal-mart, and K-mart. its pretty affordable.
The reason why i took one lippie off was because of the packaging.
I also use this w/ therappe (the matching shampoo)

I've been using this product on and off since my big hair perm days of the 90s. It's my go to conditioner whenever my hair begins to get over processed and dry.
Every time I use this for any extended period of time, hairstylists are amazed at how soft and healthy my hair is, even calling over colleagues to see. One woman even argued with me, stating "It can't be due to Humectress because Nexxus products are crap". HA!
As my hair is fine and thin, I can't use it all the time (a little bit of damage goes a long way toward adding volume), but I always have it on hand to keep the straw hair away.

This is my favorite conditioner! I've been using this for the past year and a half and it's the only conditioner than doesn't stop working. It leaves my hair shiny and silky, which is a miracle considering how processed my hair is. I wish it smelled better, but it works great so I don't mind.

A pretty nice conditioner over all. I was expecting more from it for some reason, but it does leave my hair feeling quite silky and soft. I'm not sure yet if I'll repurchase.

This is a great conditioner, It makes my thick, dry, highlighted hair smooth, soft, shiney and moisturized. I will continue to use this as long as I can find liters of the old formula. I am a product junkie so it is odd for me to use one product for a while, but I always find myself reaching for this and always pair it up with therappe. This condtioner has no cones in it, but the new version has many cones it. I have been stocking up on this whenever I see it at the store. I am hoping that they will realize their mistake and go back to the old formula.

Well...it's okay on my African American relaxed hair, but I won't be purchasing it again. I don't really feel a major difference in the texture of my hair but my hair is fairly healthy anyway so that could be it. I also can't stand the smell. This product is always getting rave reviews though, but I'm just not a big fan of it personally.

I used to use the biolage hydrating line when I kept my hair highlighted and permed, and that was really good for that. Now my hair is short and straight, so I don't want something so heavy for everyday use.

This is my first experience with Nexxus. I use this with the Therapee Shampoo, and my hair is so soft and silky it is amazing. My hair has been through heck over the past few months with dyes, stripping, and now bleach, but these products keep my hair moisturized and yet full of volume without buildup. Love it and will continue to use. The smell is also nice and clean.

I love Nexxus products but hate this one. Did nothing to my hair...oh yes, it made my hair so mushy and dry! I thought my hair had gotten some weird disease instantly! I hated it!

I wrote about its counterpart - Therappe Shampoo. My thoughts are the same for the conditioner (see below).

I'm not sure if it's because I live in Hawaii and the humidity just makes my hair frizzy, dry and brittle, but I definitely have tried all types of moisturizing shampoos. Nexxus Therappe Shampoo is by far the best :) Unlike other moisturizing shampoos, this doesn't make my hair brittle, it makes it soft :)
My hair is softer, silkier, healthier, and I noticed that when I started using this shampoo my hair took to styling alot easier and held them longer too.
Don't forget to use the humectress conditioner too! The only gripe about the conditioner costs more and I tend to use that more!
Even the price is more on the expensive side for drugstore brands, I will still buy this because I've never seen better results!

I have been using this conditioner for almost a year now. I really like it but have noticed recently that more and more, I have been getting a lot of tangles after getting out of the shower. I think I'll switch back to Redken's All Soft Conditioner as I can get a comb through my hair more easily. I took one lippie off because it's quite expensive at the rate I go through this stuff.

I have used Humectress on and off for about 15 years. I am a huge hair product junkie always searching for something better. And, I aways come back to Therappe and Humectress. I have thick, wavy, frizzy, dry, highlifted blonde hair and this stuff works great. I love it!!!
