Ok so this is really moisturizing and it feels nice on your skin, but if you're getting little under the skin bumps THIS IS THE REASON! I had those and didn't know this was the problem for a long time and when I stopped using it it cleared up pretty quickly. Also I like the pump, but you can only get half of the product out! So annoying....

This moisturizer was a nightmare for me. I have oily sensitive skin and after using this for a few days it felt very greasy on my skin and I didn't like the smell. After the third time using it my skin broke out in red bumps and started to burn badly, I immediately washed it off and stopped using it. I thought I might have had an allergic reaction to the SPF, but I decided to go out and buy an organic moisturizer (free of parabens and what not) with an SPF 15 and have not had the same reaction. I had to give the Neutrogena away.

I bought this because it was cheap, and packaged nicely. I needed something to replace my Biotherm face cream since it was too expensive. Thought Neutrogena was a good brand, although I've never used drug store brands before. This was the biggest mistake ever. I never break out, and rarely get any pimples, but this stuff made me break out, with bumps all over my face! It also makes my face look very shiny, and smells like sunscreen. Doesn't work well under makeup either. I thought it was oil-free, but I feel so oily after using it. Definitely will not buy again.

Despite being oil free these Neutrogena SPF products break me out terribly. There must be another irritant in them that causes flare-ups. I want to like them but I just can't!

Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between the two bottles posted in the picture section (one with black label, the other with blue label)? Both are "oil-free" spf-15 ... if so, which is better?
I've just started using this product (it's been about a week) and it smooths into the skin great. Non greasy, and hasn't caused any break outs! More to come once I've been using this for a month.
Edit: I've been using the cream on a daily basis for just under a month, and it's great! It does smell like sunscreen lotion, but I do like that smell so it's not a problem for me, and the smell is faint and leaves after a while anyways. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily (which happens with many other creams), and works fine under my liquid foundation (Hourglass Veil)! I actually feel like it works better than the neutrogena cream for combination skin, leaving my skin moisturized for a smaller amount. Give it a try!

This product sits well under makeup, or blends with it to make a tinted moisturizer. Doesn't cause my sensitive combination skin to break out, unlike other dc brands. Light enough to apply to the oily parts of my face while still quenching my dry areas. The packaging isn't the most attractive but I like that I don't have to worry about it oozing everywhere in my bag when I travel. Worth it for the money!

been using this for a week. i wasn't sure if i should have gotten the one made of combo skin, or sensitive cuz i'm both. but i wanted spf so i got this one. i like everything about it. the texture isn't too thick like purpose but not as a slimey with a tacky finish like garnier moisture rescue light lotion. i doesn't make me more oily and it goes under my mineral makeup well. i haven't gotten any breakouts from this so far so i'm happy about that. i'm hanging on the the receipt in case i need to return this as i did with the garnier. money is tight i'm replacing many of my higher end stuff with ds. this works for me right now and i'm happy.
4 lippies i'm not 100% sold on it yet.

I will not buy again.
Why?
Because this broke me out worse than my ordinary moisturizer! It's good that it has a pump, but other than that, I can't use this. Waste of my $10 bucks. For my money, I should have bought my ordinary Olay Beauty Fluid. It's doesn't break me out and it's great for everyday.

This is my daily moisturizer. I'm so glad I bought it. I've had it for more than 6 months now and i've still got half a bottle left. I really like everything about it. Firstly, I like the consistency. It's not too light or too thick. It's just right. And you only need a little. Furthermore, I have really really sensitive skin that pretty much reacts to everything, but this moisturizer does not cause any reaction whatsoever! It's great! I love it! Also, I am VERY prone to sunburn (which is why I bought this) and I have not gotten sunburnt once since I bought this - and I live in a country that gets up to 45 degrees in the summer! I have nothing bad to say about this product. I will never purchase any other daily moisturizer. This one is perfect for me.

I have VERY sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin (confirmed by my dermatologist). So, it is very hard for me to find the right sunscreen. This moisturizer didn't do anything good to my skin at all. it make my skin breakout and look very oily during the day. I'm planing to use this moisturizer for my body instead.

This product is kind of "meh". I have very dry skin, and very few breakouts. However I noticed that it has been irritating my skin a bit. It is a moisturiser though, and leaves my skin soft and fresh. It's great to mix with foundation for a tinted moisturiser.

I generally like this product. Its oil free, which is nice, and has an spf. The actual product sinks into skin nicely, and doesn't leave your skin tacky feeling. It doesn't make my skin feel any different though. If you're looking for a moisturizer that leaves your skin soft and smooth, than this isn't for you. For me though, my powder makes my skin soft, so it doesn't matter to me. If you're looking for a moisturizer that's going to keep your skin hydrated, and not break it out, then this is a good product. The only complaint I have really is that packaging is ugly. it has a nice pump, which i like, but other than that....yea...it looks ugly.

I too am shocked by all the bad reviews that this product has gotten. I'll start off by saying that my skin is very crazy and does its own thing. It's very sensitive, so I can't just apply any ol thing to my face, as well as very, very oily and dry at times. My skin is very acne-prone as well. I told you it's crazy. I figured that since my skin is like this I had to find something from a more high end store like Sephora or Mac. When searching for moisturizers at these stores, their prices were ranging at like $30 and up. I wouldn't except that, so I did more research. After googling products that were sort of designed for my skin I came across this one. I went to a local drugstore and found it for $10.99. I was taken back by the price but that it was way better than $30. I bought it, tried it, and now love it. I doesn't irritate my skin after applying and it also doesnt break me out which is most important. It's a light lotion, not like a cream that can easily clog your pores and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who seems to have skin like me.

I friggin' love the pump on this thing. It's not only sanitary, but it's so cute and it locks. I first used my sister's Neutrogena for combination skin when I slept over and I loved it. I like to protect with spf, though so I bought this one. I must say the only drawback is the smell. I really don't like the smell of spf moisturizers. And most of the time the spf part burns my face. I don't notice any breakouts or any more greasiness than usual. It just soothes my dry face as it should.
UPDATE: Target's Up&Up brand is available for this product and I now use that with the same results. It also has a BONUS cap on the locking pump for travel. I love Up&UP!!

Was using same product but for combination skin prior to this product. Wanted the protection of SPF 15 so switched to this product. BAD IDEA. Made my face ULTRA oily. Broke out a bit too after a while. Does not sit nice under make up. All I can say is "ew" ...if it works for you, then you're lucky. But if I were all you other people out there, try "L'Oreal Dermo Expertise Futur-e Moisturizer SPF 15 (Oil-Free)" - Makes your skin soft and smooth and the vitamin-e helps control the oil on your face. Price is the same for both products - cheap! Canada - Walmart $13; USA - Target $10.

I cannot believe this has such bad reviews!! I honestly can't find a single thing I dislike about this! I have acne-prone and combination skin (which turns VERY dry in the winter, so dry that I feel like I have to classify my skin as dry during some weeks) with an oily t-zone (yeah my skin is THAT messed up), and this product is perfect for me! I only use this in the morning (and during the day when I need extra moisturizing) and find that it works perfect! Obviously beauty products aren't magical and can only do so much, but this does exactly what is advertised and I couldn't ask for more, especially considering the fact that it's a drugstore product and is very accessible and affordable. It did not break me out once and I have been using it for a long time now. It also lasts a very long time and the bottle with the pump is super convinient because I get almost the perfect amount of product every time (I use a bit less than a pump on most days) and bacteria wil not get into the product since this moisturizer isn't in a jar. It does not feel too heavy, sticky or gross on your skin which is also a plus. Definitely reccommend it to ANYONE, any age, any budget, any skin type. A definite rebuy for me. :)

I swear by this moisturizer. I have acne prone skin and this does not irritate my skin at all. It is as cheap as chips and has an SPF 15 as well which is a bonus. When I was on Accutane my dermotologist recommended this so I am shocked to hear that it has had a lot of bad feedback. All I can say is to try it. It is cheap so if you don't like it, give it to a family member.

Great product. I use Proactiv and needed an effective oil-free moisturizer to keep my skin from drying out and peeling AND not exacerbate my oily t-zone. I was skeptical because Neutrogena products usually do not agree with my skin, but purchased anyway. With first use, I was surprised how this felt on my skin. Almost, strangely enough, oily feeling but not (hard to explain). I was nervous how my skin would react after the first application, but I never had a minute's problem! It just absorbed into my skin, giving me a nice, well-moisturized, and healthy glow. My skin stays soft, moisturized, and non-oily in my problem zones. Been using for months and just repurchased. I almost feel I can't live without this stuff now! Give it a shot!

PROS: Has spf. .
CONS: Broke out my teen's face worse than it was.
ALTERNATES: My teen's quite acne-prone skin has to use Peter Thomas Roth Oily Problem Skin Mineral Sunscreen. I love Devita's spf30.. It doesn't have a true spf30 protection, but it doesn't leave me greasy and does not irritate my sensitive skin.

I love this moisturizer, it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. It is non greasy and does not clog pores. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone who has blemishes and sensitive skin. It is a drugstore product and it is fairly cheap which makes it alot better if you do not want to spend alot of money on your moisturizer.
