I love this bronzer. I've been looking for years for a bronzer that is intense enough to not have to put layers of it on.

NARS has 2 bronzers: Casino and Laguna. When you go to NARS or Sephora, they will tell you that Laguna is for lighter skin tones while Casino is for darker ones. But THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!! Both bronzers look quite similar when placed side-by-side. But in fact, Laguna is a true bronze color which means it has green undertones while Casino has rosy undertones. Both are very pretty and natural, BUT if you have any ruddniess or redness to your skin, Casino is going to make it worse because you are adding more rosy red to your skin. Whereas Laguna would neutralize the red tones (green neutralizes red, like with concealer and primer) and make your face look less ruddy. If you do not have any red in your skin, Casino will look gorgeous no matter if your skin is light or dark (lighter skin, lighter hand). If you do, stick to Laguna, even if you have darker skin (and just layer it). The reason people think a bronzer looks dirty is because they have chosen one with the wrong undertone. If you want to test my conclusion, swipe both bronzers with your finger and rub them side by side on the inner part of your wrist (or any other area that is the most pale) and you will instantly see what I mean. So in summary, a gorgeous bronzer, but make sure the color is for you. For a comparison, go to: http://just-makeup.net/images/nars/2989472192_317ca3e1b7.jpg

Great product- I have many, many bronzers as I can't seem to fine one that's dark enough to make a big difference (when going out, so you look full on sun tanned) without making you look like you've been tangoed (mac) or rolling around in mudd (benefit) ! Laguna was probably a good everyday bronze for me but Casino has more of the 'wow' edge i was looking for....... if you have a complexion like mine NC35 you can do both but Casino is defo the one for drama without looking like a drag queen. xx

It's brown color with grey undertone and very fine shimmer. The shimmer kinda goes away when you apply it on the face.

I was looking on a bronzer that would show up on my NC 40 skin for contouring. This is great. It doesn't look orange on me, shows up well without me having to pile it up.

I don't think it's my HG just yet because I want to try some other stuff. It doesn't really give me the perfect contour we usually see on TV or magazines. I don't know if it's my technique, my brush, or what but I'm still trying to figure it out.

I have Lovejoy and Sertao by Nars, and while I liked them, I never *loved* them. Lovejoy was just "blah" on my skin while Sertao had too much of a orange-ish edge. Casino is perfect for me. My skin is a medium shade (NC30-35) and yellow toned. I used it for the first time a few days ago, and my coworkers asked if I'd lost weight because my face looked slimmer! For contouring, it works wonders.

I first tried this product in Laguna, and quickly discovered that that shade of bronzer made my caramel-colored skin (Prescriptives Real Antelope/Real Tan in winter; MAC NC42/45) look ashy. Not to be dissuaded, I went back to Sephora and returned it for the NARS bronzer in Casino. This, ladies, is the STUFF. I am so pleased with the fine texture of the powder and the shade is just gorgeous. Subtle, like bronzer should be, and gives you a glow as though everyday is your wedding day. Price is somewhat steep, but it is excellent quality--and sometimes, you do get what you pay for. I will certainly repurchase.

I have to admit I'm a bronzer whore. Use it in the summer, in the winter, on special occasions, at the clubs, etc. What I like about this bronzer is it's very buildable. I can either just add a touch of color all over my face with a stippling brush or apply it where i put blush for a lovely, warm glow after a hangover lol.
Casino is for the tanner gals as laguna is for the fairer women. One of my more paler friends though it looked so great on me she bought it immediately and it made her look fake, dirty, and red to say the least. I think it has to do with the pink undertones. Thus there is no perfect bronzer for EVERYONE. I'm a fairly tan asian and this bronzer has a slight yellow undertone which makes this one of the more natural bronzers for dark asians as well as olive complexions.

A good bronzer can only do so much, remember you need to have good brushes or it's not worth it to buy it. My cheap brushes made me look streaky and dirty. People compliment me all the time with this asking me what bronzer it is etc. and how great my "cheekbones" are. It really accentuates your face! I highly recommend it! If your wanting that orangey fake bronze look, this isn't for you.

I love this bronzer and blush palette. I am Asian with a medium-to-tan skin tone. This palette was recommended to me over the laguna/orgasm combination by a Sephora employee who told me that laguna/orgasm would barely appear on me in summer if I tanned (which I do), but could possibly work during summer. I use either Sin and Casino separate or together depending on my look. It might look muddy to some, but I think it's because of a lack of orange. It won't make you break out and provide a subtle shimmer that won't make you shiny either. A stellar product with great packaging. I regularly travel with this because I never have to worry about it cracking.

I'm always on the lookout for products to try, and over the years i have heard alot about NARS Bronzers. After talking to the makeup lady at Mecca she suggested i try NARS in casino instead of laguna - well im so glad she did! This bronzer is amazing! it deepens my colour without making me look orange or blotchy. It would also be really easy to build if i needed too. I just love it, the only downside is the price - its really expensivve - i could almost buy two MAC bronzers for the price of this, but after using it, i'll never go back.

This has got to be one of my favorite bronzers ever. Most bronzers make me look muddy, extremely orange or have excessive amount of shimmer/glitter. This doesn't do any of the above. Its perfect to balance my NC45ish skintone and give it a little color, especially in the winter months. I actually wear this alone in the summer. I like that it has a lot of "yellow" to it so it doesn't look overly orangy.

Hands down, best bronzer out there (for more medium or olive skin... if you're REALLY fair I wouldn't go with this color). I tried a couple different ones for a while but none of them compared.. I had to go back. NARS makes the best powder products that never ever look powdery or cakey. And their packaging is the best around, so flat and easy to carry. Nothing better for a great Brazillian glow than NARS Casino bronzer and a big fluffy brush. An everyday staple.

I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT BRONZER!!! The best bronzer i've ever used. Love it. You must try this if your around my complexion.

UPDATE:: Good..yes...but not perfect. It has a little red ting to it that i just can't stand on my forhead and temples..but looks awsome as an eyeshadow. I like Benefit Hoola Bronzer better. But this is still fairley beautiful. I want to get my hands on some Laguna to see the difference. (update: tried Laguna and it's better than Casino, just a little flat for my taste. It's not all that but it works. I found that the best for me is Park Avenue Princess by Tarte. Now that bronzer is gooorgeous! It even beats out Hoola!). Narz has totally let me down in the Bronzer department.

I've always been a bronzer junkie, but Casino is the only one i've used down to the pan. I have medium skin (very tan in the summer, on the paler side in the winter), and this bronzer always gives me a gorgeous glow. I have to agree with other users in saying that the best way to use this is with a light hand. Casino is a gorgeous bronze - NOT gold or tan - so it has a slight rosy undertone to it that makes it look more natural than other bronzers. The slight shimmer adds a glow, not glitter, that is also very natural. I personally think this is a very versatile color that works with many skin tones - all of my friends who have borrowed it fell in love and are now Casino users themselves. And we're a versatile bunch, with skin tones all across the board :)

I am fairly new to these boards so I was so happy to find somewhere that reviewed makeup so I could get a peek at what others thought before spending alot of moola.

I have to say I am really disappointed inthis product. I LOVE the NARS line of blushes and then moved to bronzer.

I have to preface this by saying I am Latina and tan naturally with evry golden undertones so people always think I have gone to the beach. The LAGUNA bronzer really makes my skin pop. It has a little shimmer but people dont seem to mind. Everyone is always asking "Where have you been? You're glowing!"

So with that in mind I went for the CASINO bronzer thinking it would be better as my naturally tan skin deepened in the summer.

SO WRONG!

It has red undertones to it where Laguna has more bronze/godl tones. This I guess is betetr for people who have a bit of rosiness to their skin. I am naturallly a very golden tan/bronzey color even without makeup so on me it looked more like I was putting a light blush all over my face! So that is disappointing.

I also love NARS packing; very sturdy. I have dropped it a half dozen times and its still perfectly packed. Its not cheap but it lasts forever. I still have blushes from 2 years ago.

Looks quite muddy on me, imparting a dirty rather than glowy look.

For reference, I'm NC 42, black hair w/ drk brown eyes.

I just bought this a couple days ago to replace my bobbi brown one (which I absolutely adored, but made me break out because of the oil in its ingredients-lame). I was kind of testy on Casino because it does have a hint of shimmer and I didn't want it to sink into my pores and make me shiny and oily after a couple hours. This bronzer didn't. I love it! I am so glad I bought this, not only because it is cheaper than Bobbi Browns by $10, but because it even gives me a nicer and more sunkissed glow!

BEWARE: I only recommend this to girls with at LEAST medium skin tones. This is very dark and a little dab goes a long way, trust me. I have a complexion similar to spanish people, olive and tanned, and even Casino was surprisingly too harsh if applied with a heavy hand. Go light on the swipe and light on the application to your cheeks. BLEND BLEND BLEND. it looks ggggggggreat. =)

I'm not sure how I feel about this bronzer but I'll let ya'll in a little secret: I've bought this, swapped it away, swapped it back, swapped away again, repurchased, returned more times than I can count. Is it me? Or is it the bronzer. Who knows.
Sometimes I love this for daily use as it gives me a very minimal amount of color, subtle shimmer, and more of a realistic look rather than the fake orange thing. Then there are the days this looks kind of "meh" and "blah", like the undertones are too yellow and make me look shallow rather than give me "oomph".
I think I finally figured the pattern and realized that for the summer, when my skin is just way golden and darker, this doesn't work. Now that it's winter, I'm missing it so bad and it's now on my Sephora shopping cart ready to be purchased.
I love all NARS packaging and the amount and quality you get for the price is not bad at all.
So bottom line, for GGGs/DDDs, this is a great winter complexion booster whereas for the summer, it will probably be too "meh". I'm an NC45/NC50 btw.
