An expensive but effective toner. To avoid waste, I pour it into a small spray bottle & spritz it onto a cotton pad. Because of the price, I prefer to wait for Clarins' skin care set promos which include travel bags and samples.

Wonderful toner. This doesn't dry, smells nice, cleans well while still being gentle. It really feels refreshing and that feeling is translated through my skin's fresh and smooth appearance after using this. Yes, this is pricey but I have been dried out by drugstores brands that I really trust, so this is worth purchasing again in the future when I run out.

I have been using the proactiv toner for the past few years and enjoyed it, but this year I decided to switch to this one because I am currently using Clarin's day/night creams. The smell of this toner is very strong and at times I feel like I rubbed cologne on my face. I did break out a little but I'm not sure if the toner caused it or stressful days. I have only been using this for about a week so I'll let you know in 45 days.

So far, it's the best Toner I ever tried. I've been using it for the last 6-7 months. I have tried tons of different toners and most of them were too harsh/drying for my skin or would make it feeling itchy (and the fact is that most of them contains alcohol which is a very bad ingredient for sensitive skin but this one doesn't contain alcohol-YAY!).
I use this one twice a day (morning/night) and let me say that it's an excellent toner! My skin never feels itchy or irritated. I could describe it as a gentle toner that refreshes/soothes my skin and help the pores being smaller.
I like the smell too. Fresh and not overpowering.
Among all Clarins products I've tried, this is the best (anyway the other products I've tried did not impress me at all).

WOW! I never used to use toner - i though it was an unneccesary expense... until i tried this one.
It made the hugest difference to my normal/combination skin. I use it twice a day (after cleansing with gentle foaming cleanser). I had quite large pores on my cheeks, and they are significantly smaller now. I am also prone to a few pimples, and these have been smaller and much less frequent since using this toner.
You would think that after cleansing, your skin is clean. but the grime that comes off on the cotton pad is amazing.
My skin feels great after using this - not dry at all. Perfecty balanced.

Let me begin by saying that I love toners. I use them at least twice a day, after cleansing my face, to remove makeup residues and freshen up. This one by Clarins is one of my favorite : it doesn't have any alcohol, has never burned my skin and smells really nice. I don't know if the plants extracts are any good for the skin, but they don't irritate mine. A keeper!

i think this is the only decent product clarins makes. the rest didn't work for me at all for some reason. this is nice and gentle and feels soothing. it doesn't overdry my skin either which is nice. but i don't think it does anything more than that. the herbal smell is too much too. i stopped using this 6 months ago and i stay away from clarins now.

the green liquid looks kinda scary but dont be put off by it! it helped soothe my outbreak so the zits on my forehead look less angry immediately and cleared up my skin. glad i tried it! its not too pricey for the size & quality so i'll definitely repurchase. i really like the scent too! clarins makes great products!

find it leaves a sticky feeling after i use it after the cleanser and washing my face with the foaming cleanser. Think I will switch to SK-II's toner when my bottle runs out.

As far as toners go this one works well for me. I know most people, myself included, probably don't *need* a toner, but I like this one because it smells so divine and feels so gentle. It's alcohol-free and contains iris (is that the nice smell then?). It actually does help reduce shine but I often skip the toner anyway because I'm too lazy to apply it. I use it most often at night and after masks to help get all the gunk off my skin. The packaging: a clear plastic bottle with the typical Clarins white and gold lid. It's fairly cheap to buy as well which is always a bonus.

The Clarins Tonique Lotion for Normal to Dry skin is what I've started using (yellowish liquid). This is also my first Clarins purchase, and I find myself satisfied. It cleans excess thoroughly and makes your face feel refreshed and truly clean. I honestly don't admire the scent too much, but it works.

I really want to love Clarins...I really love the concept of using plant extracts and botanical treatments, but I found this toner and most of their other skincare products to be a tad fragrant for me. Mind you, it's not a bad fragrance, but just too perfumed. This toner is very mild and gentle which is great, but I don't think I'll be purchasing it again.

This is very refreshing, completes my cleansing routine and smells wonderful. It does not cause any breakouts and helps keep my skin looking great since i have started to use it about a month ago.

Oh, how I love this toner! I bought it when my skin was at a desperation-breaking-point, and it helped pull my face back to "presentableness." It has a lovely luxurious scent, is non-drying, and takes away the last traces of makeup--fabulous. It's worth its weight in gold; but darn it, why does it have to cost as much!

I'm writing this for the "green bottle", fyi. This stuff rocks. It says it has "iris flower" in it so it smells wonderful. It doesn't irritate skin at all and is so refreshing. Clarins has great products -- not the cheapest, but some of the best. Treat yourself to this.

I really like this toner it makes the moisturizer work better but this is expensive and not the greatest out there. I've used low end that is better then this in my opinion like neutrogena pore refining toner. My skin type is oily/combo so alcohol works better w/ me. I'll pass on this one ....

"Refreshing" is the best word to describe this toner - I switch between this & the Cle de Peau toner, and this is good in the middle of the day so you don't have to cleanse your face all over again. Smells great, no irritation, no alcohol.

The best toner that I've ever used...and I've tried many. I have very sensitive combination skin and prefer not to use toners w/ alcohol. This doesn't dry at all, has a pleasant scent, and my skin feels so clean and refreshed and comfortable that I don't even feel that I need to moisturize.
