I like this as an exfoliator 2x per week. I have combo skin but this would be too rough/drying to use everyday in winter. It reminds me a lot of neutrogena Visibly Even. I just love the fresh, clean smell of this. It's hard to describe. I got this as a very generous sample from sephora. a little bit goes a long way. not sure if it has any real anti-aging benefits, since I'm not looking for that in the first place. Just a nice basic, gentle scrub.

I bought this a like 6 months ago and barely used it. I dont know why I abandoned it but its really nice, and Im glad I didnt toss it. Ive been looking to simplify my skincare and wanted a cleanser/scrub/exfoliator all in one, and this certain does it. it foams up nicely, has TINY scrubbers in it (but enough to be effective!), and has salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and lactic acid, so just washing your face with it for a minute or so give some chemical exfoliation, which is nice for my acne prone skin. Some people have issues with AHAs breaking them out, so they shouldnt use this. I just ordered skinceuticals clarifying cleanser, and havent gotten it in the mail yet, but I imagine they are similar (the skinceuticals has Salicylic acid and glycolic acid too, but has mandelic acid instead of lactic acid, and is supposed to have scrubbies too). So far I really like it, I will update later.

I use this a few times a week as a scrub. Nice little scrubbies that aren't too harsh and the AHA and BHA helps to get my skin smoother and cleaner without too much irritation. A little expensive but its also a big tube. Hasn't aggravated any breakouts thus far, which is key. I have only noticed a slight improvement in clogged pores but I also have to keep in mind that its on my skin for about 15 seconds. Overall, its very nice and I would buy again.

This is a great product for my skin, and here are my findings:

PROS:
- It is a great exfoliator, and safe enough to use every single day
-It takes off makeup like a dream, even eye makeup
-You just feel "clean" when you use it
-You only need a dime-sized amount, so the bottle lasts about 6 months (yes, even when I use it twice a day!).
-Makes a great clean, soft face right before you put your makeup on
-Contains both acids, so it's great for wrinkles, and adult acne (double whammy for me)

CONS:
-THe price

This product was recommended to me by a derm. who usually does not like too many murad products. She told me that it will be a little harsh at first, but to continue using it... every day, twice a day. After about a week, my face was used to the constant exfoliating.. and it is my absolute favorite. I do use a lot of other products on my face but this is one that I will never skimp on. It is rather expensive, but the amount and the time it lasts is well worth it. I also like that you can get it at a lot of stores, so you don't need to only order it online. If you go to ULTA you can get a sample, and that sample will last you about 3 days... so i'd at least try it if you have some adult acne or you would like a real safe exfoliator. Good luck!

LOVE, love, love this scrub! This is great for keeping pores clear between facials. It has salicylic acid and glycolic so it's very effective. I use it mainly in the t-zone (paying attention to the pores on and around my nose) after cleansing. In the summer I can use this almost every night since the jojoba beads aren't too abrasive but if youre combo-dry, I would use it less frequently (2-3 times a week maybe).

I really wanted this product to work for me. I gave it a chance. Ugh, horrible mistake. Used it for maybe a month, and it made me break out horribly on the cheeks-- in a section I almost never break out in. I am currently taking antibiotcs and using differin for moderate acne, and my skin is pretty sensitive, so my derm thinks that the combo of using all these products at once and the fact that I have sensitive skin is what broke me out. Didn't break out anywhere else from it, really, and I felt like it might have loosened up blackheads, but it was not beneficial. After stopping the use of this product, my skin has still not healed fully (it's been 2 weeks so far). It did not get any worse either, even though I stopped exfoliating. The product was not doing anything for me, besides making my skin bright red, raw, and broken out. While this may defnitely work for some, it did not work for my skin. Do not bother with if skin is sensitive.
EDIT: Ok, I used this product last May for about a month, then stopped. It is now January. Using this was the WORST decision I seriously have ever made in choosing my skincare. I am STILL recovering. My face is still bright red and the bumps the scrub caused are finally starting to go away only because I am on Accutane now (just started it a month ago). PLEASE, please, consider with caution if you have sensitive skin or are new to AHAs, because you do not want to end up with the situation i am dealing with.

This is more a scrub than a cleanser as most people can only use it two or three times a week. As a scrub it works quite well. I use this once a week in the shower so my pores would be open and this scrub can work its magic. It is a gentle but effective AHA/BHA exfoliator. My only complaint about it is that sometimes I think the exfoliating effect is a bit delayed. For example, I usually use it in the morning and the throughout the day I can see a few tiny pieces of dead skin peeling off my face. I think this is probably because of the chemical nature of AHA and BHA but I am not a chemist so don't quote me on this. :) Anyhow, so it is a bit annoying if I put on powder that day. It is not that noticeable and if there is a major event I usually do it the day before to avoid this. The snap lid on my first tube broke half way through the tube so that was a bit annoying. Perhaps a better quality packaging is needed.

OH, I must UPDATE THIS:::
Now I hate it. It's way too harsh for my skin and makes my skin burn badly :o( I'm knocking off all the lippies except one. It was my HG cleanser too but I've found out I'm super sensitive to everything. :o(

I got this on ebay and it's nice and cheap there. But anyway this stuff is amazing. I love scrubs anyway. I don't like any other cleanser (except maybe purity made simple but that is another review) because I think the scrubs get the face cleaner. I have oily acne prone skin and it really has helped stop any breakouts from coming on.

A fairly average scrub. I didn't find that it did anything spectacular to my skin. I've never had a problem with dry flaky skin (on the contrary, my skin is combination with the odd hormonal breakout) and when I wanted to exfoliate my face, I would just use any old scrub. It has no discernible scent and I found it gentle enough to use daily after cleansing. I still use this on my face on occasion just because it lives in the shower (might use it up on my feet/knees/elbows), but since I've started using a cleanser with a chemical exfoliant, this has become superfluous.

this is the best. i don't use it as a cleanser though. i use it as an exfoliant a couple times a week after cleansing. it smells amazing and feels great on my skin. i love that is has a blend of salycilic, glycolic and lactic acids and round jojoba beads to gently slough off dead skin. i like it better than exfoliating scrubs because it doesn't scrape my skin. many scrubs can be rough on the skin so this is a good alternative. i also tend to have dry skin and this doesn't make me feel drier as other exfoliants tend to do, it's nice and creamy and my skin feels awesome after rinsing.

I love this cleanser!!! Yes it is pricey, but a little goes a long way. You do not have to use that much and you can use coupons at Bath and Body Works. I have combo (more on the dry side), sensitive skin, occasional blemish. This has worked wonders on my complexion, especially the stubborn pores on my nose and chin. Leaves my skin looking healthy and feeling great. I use it every night w/o problem.

Decent enough scrub/cleanser. Perfect for summer months when my skin is oilier, but is kind of drying in the winter months. Even though you're not supposed to use it on your eyes, I did, and it does an excellent job of removing eye makeup. I love how it foams up, but I really don't see a dramatic difference in my skin from all of those AHAs and BHAs in it. Would not repurchase because it is super expensive, and I don't think it really makes a big enough difference in my skin to be worth it.

I bought this product today because some helpful MUAers suggested using a bha scrub to get the dirt out of my pores. (I have normal/dry skin, sensitive, few-to-no blemishes) I have rough, dirty pores on my nose and chin which have been there since I can remember. I used this today after my normal gentle cleanser. It felt nice, and had a clean smell to it. The 'scrubbies' in it felt like sand, which I liked because I could rub it in and feel it cleaning my skin. I washed it off and did immediately notice that my skin looked cleaner and it felt incredibly smooth. Most of the dirt in my pores is still there, but I heard it can take about 3 weeks to clear up, so I will update if anything changes. My skin is dry in the winter, but this cleanser did not dry me out any more than washing my face twice would do...maybe even a little less than that. I only used the cleanser on my nose and chin...did not apply to the rest of my face. I like it so far, but it will need to get this dirt out of my pores for me to purchase again, especially since a bottle costs 32$! The bottle will probably last at least a few months, however, since I am only going to use on my nose and chin 2-3 times a week. One bad thing is that the flip-part of the lid broke as soon as I opened it, although it still seals. Make sure to leave the flip lid closed until you unscrew the top and remove the aluminum seal the first time you use it...the flippy part is more delicate than it looks. UPDATE: I have been using this for awhile now. I love that it is very gentle on my skin...even after a good scrubbing my sensitive skin is not red like it is with other exfoliators. it did not clean out my deep pores like I was hoping. I have now switched to using more products in the murad line (cleanser, moisturizer) and they work pretty well. would rebuy because this is a good gentle scrub for surface flakes and dirt, but NOT deep down pore clogs.

This is one of my absolute favorite cleansers. It has all of the three main ingredients that I consider crucial to someone who has mild to moderate adult acne. Although I have been acne and blemish free for the last six months! It has glycolic acid, lactic acid and salycic acid, and has jojoba beads. This is my all time favorite cleanser, however I also use Joey New York which has the exact main three ingredients too, and $6 cheaper. I do have to say that the Murad cleanser has an exfoliating effect with the jojoba beads that Joey New York does not. This is a wonderful product that is a great makeup remover and provides you with AHA and BHA.

I received this as a sample from a Sephora SA as she recommended this for my skin. I have normal-to-dry skin but breakout around my jawline. My skin can get extremely dry around my nose, mouth, and chin. WELL... not only did this crap dry out my skin until it hurt, it CHEMICALLY BURNED my face!!!!! and left part of my face visibly swollen. I obviously stopped using this after the second day. I would not recommend this to anyone with skin that can by slightly on the dry side as your face will turn into medium grade sandpaper. I had to apply my moisturizer 3 times before I went to sleep because it was that dry and my face physically hurt. I would have been better off using no soap as this crap ruined my face!

This is my HG morning cleanser. I use it every morning. I have dry, blemish-prone and extremely sensitive skin and this helps with everything without irritating. When I stopped using this for a while to try to find a cheaper alternative, I ended up with blemishes and dry flakes again. It's worth the price.

eh... i bought this about 6 months ago and use it about twice a week. i have oily skin that gets flaky in the winter and this works alright, but i don't think it exfoliates very well. i like more deep exfoliation and this product is too gentle for me (which may be a good thing for others). the reason i gave it only 3 lippies is that it's not a great cleanser or a great exfoliator. just mediocre on both ends. i would suggest finding a solid exfoliator AND a good cleanser. i don't know what the point of this product is. the good thing about it is that the tube is huge and lasts forever. i have about half a bottle left.

This is a gentle scrub for my face. Leaves my skin squeaky clean but not dry. I can use this everyday. I only use a dime size for my face so the tube will last me a while. I have very oily,acne-prone,sensitive skin for reference. Overall, great scrub and I might buy this again.

This cleanser really did nothing for me. I didn't notice any changes, except that my skin got dry. The beads were so gentle that I didn't feel like I was actually exfoliating. I also didn't feel like it adequately removed my makeup. Overall, I don't think its worth the money.
