love this one. i have blue eyes, so i was scared to go with such a high voltage blue, but honestly. its amazing stuff. probably my favorite. its great as a liner or for a sweep of blue on the corners. i am totally buying more when i run out.

This is an absolutely gorgeous matte shadow that really makes green eyes pop. It does look really loud in the pan, and it goes on exactly as you'd expect. My only reason for not giving this 5 lippies is that it's somewhat difficult to remove.

i LOVE this eyeshadow SO much. when i checked the color out online i thought it would be too bright to try on my skin tone (NC40) and with my dark brown eyes. however, when i went to the store to try it on, i found a beautiful bright blue i completely fell in love with! people were complementing me on how beautiful it was (even the bus driver)! i know others have complained that the color in the pan is different from what transfers on to the lids, but if you use a base or primer, the color is pretty close to what you see in the pan. i LOVE it. definitely check this one out, perfect for the summer/night time.

this is very chalky, as evidenced by the powdery clumps that have congregated on my bathroom counter. But now that I have depotted it, it stays in its corner of the palette. I use this with colors like Idol eyes, Fiction, Chrome yellow, Petalescent, Tilt (I'm a GGG/DDD). Today I tried this with cornflower pgiment and it looks great.

this is the first mac pan shadow I bought and Now I'm in LOVE!!!! I have always been a fan of blue eyeshadow since they make my blue/green eyes pop. I had been using Maybelline shadow in "electric blue" which was beautiful. On my recent trip to tha MAC counter I saw this little gem and bought it. WOW! I never thought that such a smooth eyeshadow existed! Not only did it have a superior consistence and easy to control intensity building color, but the color itself was truly beautiful!! I was so impressed that I went out and got another color the same day. I have found my HG of shadows!!! This is awesome as a funky liner or wash of color. However if you put to much on you wind up looking like MiMi from the Drew Carey show!!!

If I could give this a 3.5, I would. This was one of my first MAC eyeshadows. The bright blue caught my eye and when I got home, I tried it one and immediately fell in love. Electric eel is marketed as a Satin, but for a Satin, it is a bit chalky. You need to build up this color or wear a good base (like urban decay's primer potion) to get this to show up the color it is in the pot. Which a lot of a work compared to the rest of MAC's line. I am a GGG - C40 with brown hair, brown eyes, very yellow/olive undertones, but I find that I can pull off cool colors better than warmer shades. I don't think this color would work for everyone. I love neutrals for day, so I can't imagine wearing this during the day, but maybe one day I will break out of my shell. I really like this paired with Sushi Flower. It almost looks like Cotton Candy. Try before you buy if you are not a fan of brights!

I love this color, but for some reason it seems to bring out the redness in my face, is that wierd? Everytime I wear it and see myself in the mirror I kind of cringe... it is a beautiful intense color however! I would use it more if it looked good with my skin tone.

I love bright colors, but the chalkiness of this color is a turnoff for me. This is really pretty as a liner, but it's not that different from Out to Sea powerpoint. If you can get past the finish and you LOVE bright colors, then definitely try this one. It does look really nice paired with bitter and chartru paint.

This was the very first MAC eyeshadow that I ever bought. Quite possibly the brightest eyeshadow that MAC has ever made! Gorgeous. It is a matte shade and is very pigmented.

This color comes out a SCREAMING, LOUD, OBNOXIOUS, IN YOUR FACE HI I'M WEARING BRIGHT FREAKIN BLUE EYESHADOW blue color. I love it. I love applying it, I love finding colors to pair with it (which is an endless amount of fun) I love everything about it. This was my first MAC shadow, and still my favorite :)

This is a really fun colour. However, since I'm an AAB, the colour comes out more green than I'd like. I've tried wearing it as a wash but it's too dramatic. I like blending it in the outer V of my lids. EDIT: Eventually ended up swapping this shadow away. It's just too young looking for me now. I'm starting to outgrow the outlandish colours. But if you're still lovin' that stuff, go for it.

This is prett chalky and the color doesn't appear on me the way it looks in the pan (very green). It's OK as an eyeliner though.

As the Mac salesperson recommended, I use this as an eyeliner rather than an eyeshadow. Being an Asian, my eyes are single eyelid (but not the narrow-eye type) so any colour too intense/deep would usually look horrible on me. I would say that as an eyeliner, the colour is quite nice and sharp. However, I do find the texture a bit too chalky, and it is quite difficult to remove with regular eye makeup removers (I've tried Chanel and Clinique, both left a faded blue stains around my eyes).

I just got this in a swap and tried it out for the first time. In the pan, it's a bright blue with a hint of green-screamingly bright. However, I applied this over my Slick CCB and it turned sort of a murky, dark teal. Then, when I tried using it over a pale neutral base or dusted lightly over bare lids, the color became much brighter. Great color if you love bright shadows, but beware using it over anything other than a pale paint or base. This color is a satin, but only has a tiny hint of pearl. I wear Electric Eel with Frost pigment dusted over it and it brings the color out, brightens it even more and makes it look amazing. A little difficult to work with at first, but a must-have if you love bright or blue eyeshadows.

I hate how this shade looks nothing like it does in the pot when it is on the skin. It is very chalky and I use lots of MAC eyeshadows and none have had this problem. It doesn't blend well and it goes on the skin a mucky, not bright teal color. Every color I mix it with ends up looking greyish and dirty, MAC Orange, Chrome Yellow, Bitter. Reviewers keep calling it "bold " and "exciting" but it is everything but that. It is boring and I feel that I waisted my money becaue I wanted a bright, pure pigmented electric blue. I'm not shy with color. I've found Milani blues that are what I want, bold and pigmented, for $2.99.

I bought this just because it stood out and afterwards regretted it since I've never really worn blue e/s before and and didn't know what to do with it. Today I finally found a use for it since I just so happen to be wearing a light greenish blue top. I thought it actually looked good after blending a bit since this is highly pigmented and also chalky for a satin e/s. This is a fun color I can use once in a while. Maybe more often if I get some more clothes that'll match. If you want want a bright greenish blue color this is for you.

wow! this colour popped out at me me at the mac counter! in the pot it looks like a bright blue, however on the lids its more of a deep intense teal colour. Its definatley a colour to have in your mu kit if you like bright colours as it is a very versitle colour!
