This is the best mascara I have found! Lately I've been on the search for something new that is less expensive but I've been disappointed with everything I've tried. This is the only mascara that makes my lashes stand out and it doesn't dot my eyelid by the end of the day which is important to me. I adore this mascara and gladly pay the $17 plus shipping.

It is an OK product but not what I would like - it is quite a thin mixture. It does strengthing a bit but does not build up on volume and the result is not as dramatic as it says. Effect: defined thin lashes, with a bit of smudge! I would rather go for Max Factor Calorie 2000.

Although this makes you lashes long, not extremley the best long, just longer I have found tat after completley applying the white and the black, the black is really flimsy. Your eyelashes do not look very black and it tends to wear away. I was dissapointed with this and I would not buy it again.

I don't know how this product keeps selling. It was a nightmare! Both 'ends' of the mascara clumped up on me and made a rats nest of goo at the base of my eyes. Never again!

I bought this while I was travelling in Europe, since it's cheaper over there. I liked it. I bought it in the raisin color. I consider this a very basic mascara even when you use the primer. I didn't get a "false lash illusion". But if you like a defined and separated look, then you might like this. I'm more into volume for my eyelashes. I do like the fact that Bourjois has a good color selection in mascaras. Other brands should learn from this.

I have long, thin eyelashes. I was hoping that the white end would help plump up and volumize my eyelashes, but it just made it clumpy. I'm also a contact lens user so whenever I blink I'd feel clumps against my eyelids.
The novelty of using this mascara when it came out several years ago here in the States was fun. The packaging is really cute, though it's very chunky so you can't carry it around in a little purse, unless you carry a tote.
The price I remember was ok, around $12, though I hear it's cheaper if you buy it in Paris since it's like the equivalent of Maybelline there.
I won't be buying it again, but it was one of the first mascaras I wore so I always get nostalgic when I see it at Sephora. ;)

This mascara does'nt do anything for curl or volume.
It does lengthen due to the white microfibers, (not suitable for contact lens wearers).
Tip you can always coat your lasher with the white coat, then wear your fav. mascara right after.

From what I understand, this was the first mascara that added the extra fibers to the ends of your lashes to make them look longer (then everyone copied: L'Oreal, Revlon, etc.). It did add some length to my wispy lashes, but after a few hours, the fibers got loose and fell into my eye, and it didn't feel very nice. It was quite irritating. I was bummed because I really wanted this to work ... oh well ...

I don't think this product is very good for asians with single eyelids like me. half my eyelash is already covered by my lid and it jets straight down/forward. This mascara does not help in the curling factor at all. Doesn't seem to thicken very much either...

I love this stuff. I have very long lashes, almost too long, I have a very hard time with mascaras. I am able to "manage" my lashes with this masacara, no clumping and great staying power.

So, so much fun! This makes my eyelashes look sooo long and separates well, so that they are very slim and stand out (I like this... maybe some people want thicker lashes too). Downsides: not as conditioning as I'd like, and if I put the base coat on my inner lashes, I spend the day picking microfibers out of my eyes and crying my mascara down my face. But this is a very simple problem to solve. Also, this curls/holds my lashes enough that I don't feel like I need to curl them. Saves a step!

I'm allergic to the white base, and the brush for the black is bad...
it makes my lashes ugly and lot of mascaras are better for less money (L'Oréal Volimunous, Bourjois Volume glamour...).

I just bought this at sephora and I can't believe it has'nt gotten a higher rating than this. I normally use lancome's primer and mascara, but this is even better. NO mascara has ever made my lashes this long. I can see how some girls might not like because it does'nt offer much volume or curl. Its all length and if you have a problem with your lashes curling up on you in the outer corners of your eyes, this mascara will help staighten them out. I have never found a mascara to help me with that.If you like a lengthening mascara that doesn't clump or gunk on you, then this is it!

I love this mascara because its 2 steps! You prime/pump your lashes up with one side, and it dries very quick, and then you coat w/the color mascara and your lashes just look oh soo perfect and dont fall back down! They stay the way you pumped and lashed them out!

I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara. Often I just use the white side with my Voluminous. A pain to use and get right, but when it's time to go out at night, I reach for this without fail. I've bought three tubes now... Wow.

This mascara wasn't what I had hoped it would be:-( The reason I didn't slash it down to one lippie was because it wasn't absolutely horrible, but for the price and the extra effort to put on both the primer and the mascara, I would rather save time and money and use Loreal Voluminous or Lash Out.

This is the only mascara that I have ever repurchased. My short little lashes look fuller and it doesn't clump or smudge underneath my eyes (that was a big problem for me, since my skin is oily/ combo). I like how there are the two steps and it actually works.

Let's put it this way, I was duped! Some of the white fibres stayed on a little and when I put on the brown layer, they disappeared, and I don't mean coated...the white fibres got tugged away. Maybe it was my poor application, but after using it 3 times, I gave up, and it has been rotting away ever since.

Yuck, I don't think this works very well. The black side is horrible, didn't do anything for my lashes, just made them stick together. The white side is decent, if they sold the white side by itself I would buy that. But overall, not worth my hardearned $16, there are much better mascaras out there. Sadly, I don't think these double sided ones work that well, as Loreal's double extend did nothing for me either.

I bought this in brown and I was pretty disappointed after using it. The primer end seemed a bit clumpy and it was then difficult to put enough of the brown color over the white to disguise it. Overall, I looked more fit to go stand on the street corner than to report to my federal job. Definitely a negative! I am wondering if I got an older tube as I ordered it from Sephora and maybe it works better if it is fresher. Every once in a while I get it back out and try again to get those long, thick lashes, but no luck. Overall, I prefer Almay Bright Eyes Mascara.
