La Mer Eye Balm is a soothing lotion for the eye area but I didn't find it to be anything particularly special, in either its consistency (quite runny) or its claims (felt just like a regular moisturiser). I'll stick with my Dior eye creme, which is about a third of the price of this La Mer product, yet the Dior one feels richer and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines.

I had such high expectations from this eye cream and couldn't have been more disappointed. Overall, I believe the La Mer products are really overrated, but their eye cream has to be the worse in my opinion. It is 1) thick and "goopy"; 2) doesn't apply well at all; 3) causes puffiness; 4) causes milia under the eye; and 5) irritates! When it comes to expensive eye creams, this one can't hold a candle to La Prairie Radiance Eye Cream. It is a miracle worker for women over 40.

Nothing too special regarding this. I had hoped it would eliminate my dark circles. I do like it for winter to really moisturize that delicate eye area before bed.

i don't think this eye cream is more wonderful than others. i can't see any noticable result like i expected.
anyway, i think it's too concentrated and too fast to use it.
my SA told me it's like preparing for anti-aging even i don't really have now. this price is too high. i love all product line of lamer coz' i have used it for 4years++ i think i will change my skin care soon coz' i start tinking that my skin is used to it and can't see any better after using lamer for a while. not repurchase the eye cream for sure.

This made the fine lines under my eyes worse, and it made my under eye area puffy. Not for me.

I received several sample packets of this product, which I used along with the creme de la Mer. While it worked just "fine", its performance was not indicative of its price (I used in conjunction with the creme as recommended). I should mention I'm only 32 with very little or no wrinkles or fine lines. It did nothing for undereye circles or puffiness. It did not give me milia, as many rich eye creams tend to do. I just think that for an OK eye cream the price is ridiculous and I would never repurchase this!

OKAY...ONCE AGAIN, This is a TREATMENT product applied OVER the cream. It is NOT a moisturizer! Thats what the cream is for. This is a triple concentration of the miracle broth that soothes and heals the skin. It also contains anti-oxidants to prevent environmental damage. Undereye lines and wrinkles are faded and reduced.

I like this well enough and am on my second jar (can get from Bliss for 10% off during your birthday month). I like the consistency and the feel. However, I don't think it's a miracle product, but then again nothing is. I'm open to trying other eye creams, but this one is fine for now. I agree with other reviewers that a tube would be better.

This is the worst eye cream I've ever had. It made my skin tight and dry, after using it for about a month I notised that the product started to dry out, it changed color and got darker. Took it back.

I'm reviewing the night neutrional renewal eye cream i got from a swap. It caused red pimples both in the undereye area and on my eye lids the first time i used it. Not very good.

I had held off writing a reveiw on this eye cream, because I wanted to fall madly in love with it. I've been using it for close to 2 years now, and I can say I'm not in love. It's not creamy enough, nor does it moisturize as much as I would like it to. My fine lines do appear less, but for the price, I would perfer something with more oils. I do love and use the moisturizing cream, which I'll continue to use, patting it beneath my eyes. As for the eye cream, I will not repurchase it.

I bought this product with a friend about a month ago. We both agree that it works well for the first week but the effects kinda taper off after a while. I don't know if I'd buy another jar of this thing. I've heard Cle de Peau's is better.

I believe that by in large beauty products are meant to be proactive apposed to reactive. In my experience, La Mer is no exception. While I cannot testify that La Mer erased fine lines or made me look years younger, I will say it's a nice, light eye cream and I believe that, with regular use, it may prevent early on-set of lines and wrinkles. I don't know how to put this, but it's not what I notice while using the product that makes it so great, it's what I notice when I stop using it that keeps me coming back. What I like most about this product is that it makes the absolute BEST eyelash conditioner I have ever tried...I mean an immediate and notable difference in length and thickness of my lashes...the results are truly amazing! I gave it only four lippies because it's just so darned expensive...and I prefer a pump dispenser to a pot that can be easily contaminated.

i tried a very generous sample of this stuff, and i like it very much. i've been using it consistently for approx 2 mos now. it moisturizes the eye area perfectly- it's creamy., but not greasy, and is absorbed nicely. it does a very good job of hydrating throughout the day, too. i've noticed that it also helps with my puffiness and dark circles, and makes fine lines disappear. i wish it didn't cost so much, but it works very well, and when my sample is done i plan on forking over the $150 CAD (ouch! it even hurts to type that) for it.

I love this stuff! It's really my HG of products. My eyelids were starting to get a little bit droopy and wrinkly looking and I have to say that this stuff really helping to firm up my lids and smooth them out. It's the best I've ever found - though very expensive. Packaging would be better if it were a tube a not a jar too.
