Not much to say because there isn't much to it(EdT). All I got was alcohol and a faint sweaty musk floral cloud. It's like a day-old dry down(paled base notes and perspiration) in a bottle.

more positively, if you don't usually care for perfume this maybe something for you. CWM also reminds me of the smell of taking a nap in a white t-shirt in warm weather after a walk outside. That weird way the coton(seems especially concert T's) pick up the ghost of your fragrance and scent.

strange subliminal perfume. :P

I wore this all through high school back in the early to mid 1980s and associate it with what I was doing and feeling at the time. My friend and I really dug this stuff and we always felt so sexy and cute as teenagers wearing it. Only thing is, it didn't have much staying power. I still have an oil version of this and rarely put it on, but it is a precious piece of my past.

I would like this scent if I wanted to smell like talc. However, I don't. To me, a nicer "clean" smell is shampoo. I've also gotten nice talcs in the past that smell better than this. It is truly a generic scent, and not offensive, but not reflective of my personality. I guess I will keep it on hand in case I ever smell really bad and can't take a shower.

Probably would not buy this product ever. Lightly sprayed the air with the scent and just found it to be soooooo overpowering. Does not really smell feminine - IMO. To me it smells really powdery and sharp - similar to a man's deodorant. It must work really well on some people - but definitely for me.

I wore this all through High School and beyond. When I met my husband it was still my favorite. One Christmas my husband said he was embarressed when he went to a major department store to buy it for me and they told him to try the drug store. I stopped wearing it thinking my hubbie thought it was cheap. Last week I asked him why he never comments on my perfume. He said what I was wearing didn't grab his attention. But he did say the one he really loved on me and that smelled sexy was Coty Musk! Who would have thought? I'm back to wearing it and I love it and so does he!

This is the second time I've bought something based on positive reviews. Live and learn. It's only 10 bucks, so I'm not overly upset, but ew. It has a sharp, sour, powdery smell. Reminds me of Emeraude, not a good thing. And the drydown on this? I detect a whiff of...um...PEE. Not nice. Obviously not good with my body chemistry. Try before you buy!

I just checked for kicks to see if this was listed here. After all my searching around, I return to this everytime! Everyone always asks what it is...I'm embarrassed to say..but it remains my all time favorite man magnet since I felt the need for one at age 14! SEXXXY Black liner of scent!

I ran a list on on the MUA Top picks for fragrances and I was bowled over to see this one! This was my very first "grown up" perfume. I got lots of compliments on it, and despite the fact that its a 'cheap perfume' it does not smell cheap at all. its very sexy, however if you do not like musk scents you will not like this one. I might just go pick up another bottle and re-aqauint myself with some nostalgic times.

I've worn Coty Wild Musk on and off for 30 years now,since it first came on the market. It's sexy and sensual,but not overbearing, with notes of vanilla,woods and musk.

I like Coty's WM, though I prefer Jovan and even Alyssa Ashley too it. I have the cologne spray and the musk oil ; for both of them, the musk is dominated by floral ('white') notes and by powder notes. The musk oil is more of a true musk, but even it isn't all THAT "musk-y". I agree with those who say it's a 'warm' or 'cozy' scent . I do like it and wear it sometimes, but I would call it a good musk for those who are worried that pure or true musk is "too sexy" or too blatant. Subtle, pretty, and not overpowering, it's my least favorite musk because it just isn't much OF a musk, compared to Jovan especially. It's a bit of a "foodie" scent-I am sure that I can detect vanilla notes even in the oil!

I get compliments all of the time when I wear this. It seems to work so well with my natural scent. Leaves a beautiful powder fresh scent w/ a bit of musk. It's been a HG for years! I'll always have a bottle on hand.

The oil is the best. Melds with my skin and smells so sexy to me. Smells a little different on everyone. Very comforting to my nose, and men always seem to love it.
Lasting power is wonderful.
Have loved this one since I was 12, and always have some around.

Ha! I will admit it, I have worn this and I may wear it again. As I recall, guys really dig it. The oil _is_ better, but I can't find it anymore. Would be great layered with something smokey -- patchouli/sandlwood/frankincense I think. Why not go all the way with the hippie scent! :-) Update: Bought this again and you know what, it still smells just as good. Musk with sandalwood and a tiny bit of vanilla, just a little bit powdery. Totally reminds be of high school, in a good way. Nice for summer. :-)

This is truly a fragrance classic overall & the first one I had tried out as an oil. I prefer the oil to the spray, but layering is always good. This does bring back memories of high school. My bestfriend & I were laughing ourselves to death in the store when I bought the current bottle I am using because we remember her father getting mad at us "young ladies" wearing such a "mature" fragrance. We just knew it smelled good & that we could afford it. We didn't realize what he was talking about until we were in college. It was a man-magnet scent then as it is now. That is what dear ole dad was worried about--his babies growing up. But it is very affordable and accessible.

I loved this fragrance when i was 11 years old and loving it even more when i just turned 21 recently. I kinda lost touch with this cologne for 10 years, trying to find a HG perfume/cologne in department stores to top it, but i find myself coming back to Wild Musk after taking a whiff @ Target for old time's sake. This fragrance has a warm, cozy feeling that makes me feel sexy with whatever clothes im wearing. The smell is non-offensive and not too strong which is a good thing since i can wear it all year long instead of just certain seasons. The price is also cheap (9-10 USD)!! Now that i bought it again, i can now truly say that this is my HG fragrance and nothing else can compare.

I, too, have spent a lot of money trying to smell this good. I love my CSP Vanille Ambre, Chopard Casmir, MMU Ambre a la Vanille, Terra Nova Rain, even my mini J. Lo Glow. But this, this is what I've always wanted to smell like. I love drugstore discoveries! Coty Wild Musk smells a little darker, a little sweeter, a little sexier than my dearly beloved Bonne Bell Skin Musk. It's spectacular. It's fabulous. It's eight dollars! And the nostalgia factor is outrageous. This is a win-win situation. :)

I hate to admit this, but I have always adored this dirt cheap fragrance. This was my first perfume, and I wore it through high school. People always loved it on me but then teased me AFTER I told them what it was. My dad found it in the bathroom and thought it was one of his colognes. He started wearing it, and I asked him what cologne he was wearing. He told me, and we shared a good laugh when I told him that was my perfume. He and I both wore it until I moved away to college.

I have many, many beautiful, and expensive fragrances now. I read the reviews here and remember it so fondly. I think I will skulk off to the drugstore and buy some. Now I'll just be smart enough not to tell anyone the name when they all ask what the intoxicating perfume is that I am wearing.

Warm, softly sweet and alluring...a cashmere sweater and jeans...this is what I think of when I wear Wild Musk. I used to wear it years ago and now I've come back to it again. I love it in both the oil and spray, even though the spray is a bit alcoholy (is that a word?!) at first, that dies off quickly. It's perfect in summer or winter. My only problem is that I wish it lasted a tad longer and sometimes it’s a bit too pink and powdery sweet on me.

I absolutely love this fragrance.
I feel sexy when I wear it, and men absolutely love it. It melds well with my body chemistry. I tend to use the oil most often, but if I want to go a bit more intense, I'll also use the cologne spray on my clothes at the same time. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying more expensive perfumes and I always seem to come back to this one. It's easy to find, really cheap, and I absolutely love the smell.
The packaging and look of the bottle is not that great, but that doesn't really matter to me. I like the size of the oil bottle since I can carry it easily in a small handback. I sometimes use a bit of the oil in my hair as well. The oil also gives the skin a nice gleam when I use it in the upper chest area.
I intend to stick to this fragrance since it really feels & smells right for me.
