I waited a few days to review this simply because things of this nature tend to quit working after a few uses. Lately my eyes have been puffy and this made a noticable difference the first time I used it and, so far, it's been pretty consistant since. This isn't really moisturizing and it evaporates very quickly, but I just use another moisturizer on top of it. For $6.50 at Walmart, it's fairly good for the price as well. The only bad thing I have to say is that the scent was almost overpowering at first. It smells very chemically. Since, I've become used to it, but it definately has a "mother's night cream" quality to it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! My skin's been very dry these past few days so I decided to try Olay's Night Firming Creme. I'm not used to drugstore brands..especially stuff for my face but this IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST moisturizers I've tried. And I've tried almost everything! For $21 (canadian), it is soooo worth it. It smells sooo good (not too strong) and the texture is light but not too light, just enough moisture. My face looks brighter, my skin is firmer and my pores are much much smaller I swear! My skin is radiant, I can't stop staring in the mirror!

Now that I have discovered Olay's Total Effects, I can't imagine ever switching to another brand. This cream is divine; it has a very light, clean scent that is in no way "perfumey." (If only they could make a perfume of the same scent, life would be wonderful...) I'm 30, and have started noticing those pesky under-eye wrinkles. I can't say they've disappeared, but since I've been using this cream, my skin has definitely become softer, smoother, and yes--notably more "firm." It doesn't erase wrinkles, but it certainly does a wonderful job of making your skin appear healthier and younger. (My husband also loves to kiss my cheeks after I've put it on, though I think he just likes the scent...) It's not the least expensive product, but it is without doubt the best I've found to date. (The same goes for the entire "Total Effects" line.)

I rec'vd a sample. The instant I put it on I noticed it was very perfume-y. I couldn't handle it. My face started itching and itching, and my nose was plugging up. I had to try to scrub it off my face as fast as I could. I am hoping I do not develop a rash from all the fragrance they put into this product. If you have sensitive skin or any allergies, stay the heck away from this!

I think I've found my HG winter night cream - thanks MUA reviewers! I was skeptic that this would actually make my pores appear smaller since nothing has acheived that miracle for me, but honestly, they appear 40-50% smaller! I went to a party this past Saturday evening and my friend (who is also a MAC MA) asked me if I was doing anything different to my skin because it looked (verbatim): "so perfect...like an airbrushed magazine ad". Imagine my elation. I had purchased this moisturizer and began using it only 3 days prior to that. I admit that although I have Philisophy Purity cleanser (another HG) to owe for my breakout free skin, this cream shrinks my pores and makes it appear as if someone has buffed and polished my skin to a refined, glowing smooth finish. My foundation/powder used to accentuate my pores if I was lazy or clumsy at applying, but now, it glides on like butter and applies seamlessly. Beautiful results with one week usage - but will report back if performance changes - cross my fingers! 1/17/06 UPDATE: Performance has kept up and no bad reactions. My skin continually improves in texture and tone with no breakouts or blemishes. Pore size has been greatly reduced. Yeah!

I sampled this and I loved it: the smell, the texture, it didn't feel greasy like Nivea (I have combo skin) or heavy. The price is right so I seriously consider buying this.

This is a great nighttime moisturizer. I use it when I need al little extra moisture (otherwise I use the Regenerist Serum). Allthough most of my skincare products are fragrancefree, the scent of this cream doesn't bother me. My skin feels very soft and it looks very smooth and moisturized when I wake up. I really recommend this one.

Works great on the wrinkles!
Also made the pores on my nose look smaller and I never thought anything would do that!
I am 53 (yikes, right?) and the wrinkles look al ot smoother after 2 weeks of use.
First time I've ever put on a night cream and I can feel it on my face at night-can feel it sitting on my skin, but my sking looks better in the morning from it.
Nice light fragrance. A drop smooths out over my whole face.

I got a sample of this stuff in the mail and used it for a few days and was really impressed by it. I didn't break out, it made my skin smooth and the lines on my neck seem to go away a little and look firmer; as did the ones on my forhead. So after a couple day s of not using i found some at Target on sale (promo pkging) for $12 (normally $17.99) so it's a little $$$ (ebay has good deals). I just started using it again last night and woke up again today with very nice looking skin. My pores around my nose look a little smaller and my skin just feels taunght and smooth :)

A wonderful night cream that moisturizes without being heavy or greasy. I have combo/oily skin and it never felt like it was too much. The only problem I have with Olay products is that they all seem to break me out. I am not usually breakout prone, and this product was no exception to the rule. I will not repurchase this cream, but if you have success with other Olay products, this is a wonderful night cream.

Used this for a week when I forgot my Kinerase Cream at home while traveling. While it has a nice texture and scent, it totally broke me out and I do NOT have acne prone skin at all. Total waste.

I love this product. I've been using it for about nine months. Recently I got philosophy's Hope in a Jar in a kit and decided to try it. Yuck! (Too stinky and heavy for me.) Once was enough. I was right back to Oil of Olay. I love the scent, and it's very light but still moisturizing. My skin also looks and feels better since I began to use it. I'll definitely buy it again.

Don't usually use night creams or oil of olay products, but was pleasantly surprised by it. It was pretty cheap ( I got it from Eckerds for $5.99 for 2 oz. Has a slightly strong rose smell, but cream is non-greasy and my skin feels very smooth and matt after use. Have been using it for one week and my skin is really smoother and even clearer! will buy again.

I've been using this off & on for about a year or so and after trying numerous night creams, I always come back to this one. I have normal skin (that is sensitive) and the texture of this is perfect. Despite being a "night cream", this isn't greasy & heavy like a lot of others I've tried. I've been using this over a June Jacobs retinol type serum at night and the two together are working really well. I've noticed that my pores now are invisible and when I wake up in the morning my skin looks amazing!

I really like this cream although I'm not surprised. I swear by the total effects daytime moisturizer and I swear the ingredient lists are identical. I don't think there's anything in this that makes it more suitable for nightime or vice versa. Both are excellent moisturizers IMO but I think you really only need one or the other and not both simultaneously. I'd buy the one in the pump again over this one because I think it's more sanitary than the jar.

I got sample of this in the mail, so I thought I give it a try. I normally, don't review a product after 1 or 2 uses, but for this one 2 times was plenty enough to find out that it made my face all irritated the next morning. I have sensitive, acne-prone, combo skin. I don't know what it was, but this nite cream made my face itchy and red in the morning. I tried it once more to make sure it was indeed this cream causing the irritation and it surely was. The packaging reads that this product contains VitaNiacin, wheat protein and hydrator. I may well be allergic to one of these ingredients. If you have similar skin type as me, stay away from this product!

I've been using this for about a week and my skin is so soft. I've been using the Daily Renewal in the morning and then using this at night. Nice creamy texture that glides on smooth. No breakouts or irritation. Will definitely buy this again.

I took a lippie off for the stupid pot design. I didn't realize until after I threw away the package it came in that there was some kind of dispenser in it...oh well, next one.

I tried this whole line, the cleansing cloths, the eye cream and the serum..along with this cream my face has done a turnaround..for the good.. I was looking for something new. My Lancome sadly let me down and I was determined to find something without the usual 40% markup..I stumbled upon this while reading reviews on MUA...I am soooo glad I did...for the first time in my life I can't wait to go home and put on my night time face! I was with the Total Effect Cloths, then use the serum, the eye serum and then the cream..My face can't be softer!! My skins glows, my face feels like a baby's bottom and when I wake up no oil slick on my face....no breakouts either...I highly recommend..I adore the feel of this cream too...not greasy just soft and light with a nice fresh fragrance that is not overpowering...will continue to buy

Love this stuff! I purchased it after reading all the positive reviews here, and I am now on my 2nd jar. It does seem to make my pores appear smaller; the smell is wonderfully fresh; the consistency is so fluffy! In a word, this seems decadent. And the best part? I got mine on a military base for under $14.00. =)

I bought the Equate brand of this cream and I love it! My skin feels smoother and firmer after only using it a couple of weeks! This Wal-Mart brand is less than $5 and is working extremely well for me. I think this is an excellent product!
