I get quite a bit of blackheads and that means having to use these strips once a week which can get expensive. I have tried the Biore strips many times and i thought they do a good job of removing of 80% blackheads.
I do have a large nose than most, so i don't think it fits my nose right or maybe i still cannot get the strip to work properly and if it is the latter, then the package instructions are not helpful at all.
However, i have stopped buying them now since, gelatin with milk works even better. I even leave it on my face as a mask and it still works like a charm! Be sure to keep it away from your eye area, sideburns and eyebrows and it can pull out hair. :P
The gelatin strips are liquid when you put them on so it fits your nose perfectly, no matter what the size or shape!

I love these strips! They feel like they're ripping your nose apart but they do work.

THESE ARE A MIRACLE PRODUCT! I can't believe they get a bad rap, they seem like they would be a gimmick but they're totally not! Worth every penny. I used to torture myself with a blackhead removing tool because I just haven't figured out how to prevent them, but these strips, which have been around forever and I always dismissed until last year, do exactly what they're supposed to! They're a non-stressful way (the only one I've found) to remove blackheads without breaking capillaries or stressing pores. I have gotten so many people hooked on these, men included! Even the cleanest looking nose turns out to have a forest full of blackheads when using these! They totally prevent me from pestering my skin. In Canada they're ridiculously priced, $20 for 14, but at Target in the states they're $10. I would buy them at any price!

These pore strips are over-all ok. I have the most blackheads anyone could ever have on my nose, and these strips only take out about 6 total; They really hurt when you take them off, especially if you have sensitive skin; They leave a powdery residue on your nose, which you can remove with a warm wash cloth; they are very expensive (packages come in 8, 16, or 24 pore strips I believe), but then again I'm a cheap-o. They also seem to push the blackheads back in my nose even more, creating a smooth surface which is nice, but thats not what the theory says their supposed to do. I definitely wouldn't recommend these to ANYONE.

I've used these off and on just for something different in my cleansing routine. I don't really have blackhead problems on my nose, but I still use them maybe once a month or so. I've used them on my husband, who has a lot of blackheads on his nose, and it does remove them pretty well. He says it hurts to remove it, but he still lets me use it on him. They are pricey especially for drug store. I just think it's kinda cool to look at the gunk they remove from your skin!

If there was no other pore strips out there, I guess I would have to settle for this one. When I apply too little water it doesn't work but too much water will make it slimy and I have to wait much longer for it to dry and in the process, it would slip around too much. Whenever I use this product, a lot of the smaller ones comes out and the big ones are still there. I have to scratch my nose then use this product to take some of the blackheads out. I gave it a 3 because in the end, it does take out some of the blackheads and I can't depend on it to get rid of everything so a 3 would do. If you decide to buy this though, just know it won't do the best job but if you have some slight blackheads here and there. It wouldn't hurt to try it out.

I use these about once a week (or every 2 weeks) to clear out the pores on my nose, mainly because my nose gets pretty oily and the pores are easily clogged with blackheads. Having not really tried other brands, I can't compare how effective this is against other types of strips, but this works for me.
This is best used after washing your face with warm water or, as some other reviewers have mentioned, after a warm shower when your pores are opened up. You should peel it off only when it's totally dry to touch (it should feel slightly hard). Peeling it off even when it's slightly damp can be painful and leaves a sticky residue on your nose.
It doesn't do wonders for my pore size in the long run; that'll require another product, but it's good enough for clearing pores of nasty stuff. Note: do not use if you have acne, though this should be obvious enough.

I've used this product and it really works. Yes, it does hurt but it is bearable. If you want blackheads to come out from deep into your pores it will hurt. You get a better result when your wash your face then wet your nose very well to open pores and so the pad will stick. These are a little pricey but your nose will be soft and clean afterwards:)

I've repurchased these about 3 times and they really do work! My sister and I love to use this to get rid of out blackheads. You should not use this like twice a week. I once did it twice in 2 weeks and my nose became very sensitive. The pain of these strips are bearable, but the more you have, the more it'll hurt.

I love these pore cleansing strips! It actually removes most of my blackheads and the proof is on the strips itself. I even tried it on my boyfriend (he has a lot of blackheads) and now his nose is clear! The only con I would have to say about these strips is that it is quite pricey (bought it for around 15$ when it wasn't on sale).

I wanted to love this product. I tried the whole box of strips, followed the instructions to a T, and none of them worked for me. It ended up just being a big goopy piece of tissue paper on my face. It did not remove my blackheads. It is also really pricey for drugstore face products that is just bascially a sticker. The Generic brand from Dollar General (7.00 vs 1.50) worked a lot better for me. Good idea for a product, but in my opinion Biore is not worth it!

I love Biore Pore Strips. They really do get a good portion of the blackheads out of the skin. To get the best results I steam and exfoliate my face to loosen the sebum, apply the strip with dry hands careful not to get the top of the strip wet, and go do something else for about 20 minutes. I peel it off very slowly, and then use a clay mask to tighten the pores back up, then toner to calm the skin.

A bit pricey but worth it :)
The first time I've used it, I didn't know that in order to get all the gunk out better, you have to (either) use baking soda or soak your face in warm water to loosen the blackheads and open the pores. And because of this, only about 5 or 7 blackheads were removed. Felt a bit disappointed until I heard about the methods.
4 days later (Today) I tried it again after walking out of the shower. I was positive that the steam had opened my pores real good so I quickly put on the strip. While removing it, I could easily see the black heads being pulled off (sorry for grossing you out lol) and once I was done, there was about 15 or more blackheads. O_O pretty icky. I know.
I recommend this product to people who wouldn't mind trying a new brand thats a bit pricey like Biore. I know that it wouldn't work for all of us especially people with sensitive skin because it will hurt...Thankfully, it didn't for me. And don't just rip the damn thing off, take your time when removing it. I heard that more will be removed like this.

Meh. Does the job and removes gunk, but it didn't do as well compared to another brand that my friend introduced to me which was cheaper.

Both my husband and i use the biore pore cleansing strips atleast once a week, it gets all the blackheads/whiteheads and build-up out of the pores on your nose. I definitely recommend this product to anyone! Its a must have and absolute re-buy!

Waste of money! Yes they grab the small tiny bits in the small pores, but these strips aren't "strong" enough for the larger blocked pores. Wouldn't buy again.

I bought this product with high hopes, as I have a few blackheads on my nose/sides of nose. But unfortunately it did nothing. You'd probably get the same results from sticking tape on your face.

I used this product for the first time and I was happy with the results. I don't have too many blackheads on my nose, but I just bought this because my nose is the oiliest part of my face and t-zone. I thought if the pores get cleaned a little on my nose, maybe they'll stop looking oily. I don't know if this worked or not because I have only used it once and I don't see any reduction in the oiliness on my nose. I'll try a couple of strips and update this review if I see a difference.

These pore strips have always worked for me. Even my husband uses them sometimes and they clean out his pores more than mine. I think its because he has larger pores, so I will steam my face every now and then before I use the strip, but it still works if I don't. It gets my blackheads most of the time, it just depends on how deep they are and how closed off my pore is. I love how smooth my skin feels after it cleans out the junk from my pores! I let the strip get completely firm and then I peel from both sides at the same time. Works like a charm! If its a little too pricey for your budget, try making homemade pore strips using unflavored gelatine and milk- it works pretty well too!
