This is a pretty good mascara, but nothing amazing. It is a bit wet when first used, but gets a better consistency as you use it. The packaging was pretty, and the brush is a tad hard, but still effective. It did give length and volume, but did become a bit clumpy after a few coats (the wand applies lots of product). For the bottom lashes, I would recommend applying to your top ones first, and without dipping again, apply to the bottom. One thing that I will add is that it is indeed, very hard to get off. I slept with it once (very bad, I know) and it was pretty much intact, which is an example of long lasting. Overall, not bad, but not perfect.

This is the first Maybelline Mascara I really like and I probably will stick with for a long time.

It's just perfect. It's not too expensive, and the pretty colors on the packaging are cool. The actual mascara is great, it stays on all day, lengthens very well, thickens, volumizes, and it doesn't clump easily, only if you put a whole bunch on, which I only do a coat or two.

I will later post a picture, but overall this mascara is just unicorn poop amazing.

Mascara is so tough to review as whether or not we like a particular one is so individual. This one performed well and I liked the brush and formula and it did thicken and lengthen but IT WOULD NOT COME OFF! I usually run warm water over my fingertips and work my lashes between them to loosen and remove most of my mascara and then follow up with coconut oil or a makeup remover but seriously guys, this mascara took FOREVER to come off! I would not repurchase this as ease of removal is important to me, I don't want to have to work that hard and risk losing lashes for any mascara when there are so many of them.

This mascara is nice if you want huge lashes but if you're more into the natural look, I wouldn't recommend this. My eyelashes are already really long and full but you cant notice because they are blond. I got this hoping it would separate my lashes but it is pretty clumpy. Not extremely but it is. I would buy this again only if I needed a mascara that I would want to make it look like im wearing fake eyelashes or a dramatic eye.

I love this mascara! The brush takes a little getting used to but applies nicely. This mascara really doesn't volumize much considering it's a volume express mascara... But it lengthens very well! This mascara stayed on better than the flashies flared yet it was A LOT easier to remove! This is probabalu my favorite drugstore mascara right now!

I bought the nonwaterproof version and I typically like rubber bristles, however these are too short, to where it is hard to apply without poking my eyelid with the wand. It did create lots of volume, which was great, however it did not hold a curl, so my lashes were stick straight to where they were not really visible. Whatever you do not try to curl your lashes after applying this! I tried to a it sticks to the curler and ripped out a lot of lashes, leaving me with a bald spot. Then I when I tried to remove it with my normal oil based remover it was soo difficult to try to remove, so I lost more lashes. It will take me forever to try to grow my lashes back out!

I really did NOT like this mascara. First off, it did nothing for my lashes. Second, as previous reviews said, it wouldn't come off - even my waterproof eye makeup remover was nearly useless. Third strike was that the little fibres would constantly irritate my eyes, which was so annoying at at times rather painful.
Never again will I buy this mascara. I'll stick to my Rimmel when I'm skint and Lancôme when I'm flush!

This is my second favorite mascara. I love maybelline's mascaras and they did not disappoint with this one! Gives me great volume with a decent amount of length. By the end of the day I see little or No flaking. Will repurchase!

I got this in Feb.so I've using it over a month. It was on sale so I thought what the heck & the packing was cute. I adore Colossal & like this as well. I usually apply 2 coats & it definitely makes a different in my lashes. They don't appear longer,but do seem more fuller. Was glad to see it didn't clump or smudge,which is good since I'm a lens wearer.

Ugh talk about a terrible company. I only have bad things to say about maybelline, honestly. This mascara smelled HORRIBLE, it made my eyes water because it's so full of chemicals. How do they test this SHIT on animals? honestly... how cruel. I wasn't aware they tested on animals until after I had bought this and the colossal mascaras only to realize that I had just thrown away 20 perfectly good dollars. Wish I could give this ZERO lippies.


The product reeked, it dried way too quicky so you can only get about two coats of it before it's completely stale not to mention that it gets all over your eyelids. Don't waste your money :( you're better off buying the 2 dollar new york color mascara, that one is actually pretty good.

I used this product once or twice and was very disappointed. I want long thick voluptuous lashes and this did NOT do that for me whatsoever. The texture was very wet so I had my doubt already. I put it on after curling my lashes and my lashes weren't any longer, weren't any thicker. There was no height and my lashes stuck straight out. Ill stick with my neutrogena healthy volume waterproof mascara.

I absolutely love thick, clump like, false looking eyelashes. My eyelashes are long, straight and thin so volumizing mascara is a must! I heard all the rave about this mascara so I thought I'd try it.. Big mistake. The formula is so wet that the product is packed so thick on the brush I have to wipe it off. Didn't add volume or length, just made me a big, black, clumpy mess.

Worst mascara I've tried. I don't usually write reviews put this one pissed me off that much. I like dramatic lashes, love the Falsies.

This mascara went on way too clumpy and wet. Did not add any length at all, just thick volume. I've been wearing it for about two weeks and every day I look in the mirror absolutely shocked at the black smudges and flakes under my eyes by the afternoon.

Worst of all, considering the poor longevity, this mascara does. not. wash. off. I have the regular, non-waterproof formula. I had to go out and buy an eye makeup remover after a few days because I usually use coconut oil, water, and remove the residue with my facewash. I've been trying using eye makup remover on a saturated cotton pad, then coconut oil, then my Philosophy Purity Made Simple facewah/makeup remover, then more coconut oil and olive oil, and I STILL have residue left. It makes my natural lashes feel more dry and brittle as a result. Absolutely terrible.

I think tht it's a amazing mascara it definatley lengthin my lashes almost above my brows like OMG thts awesome everyone needs to buy this mascara but it is more on the dry side instead of wet

i simply love this mascara for the big bold lashes look. this has never flaked except maybe one or two flakes rarely. it can look clumpy if you keep adding a ton of coats but there is a happy medium between ust a little and a lot and that created big full lashes. i love this mascara, but i know its not for everyone cause it can look spidery to some.

THIS IS FOR THE WATERPROOF FORMULA! Before this I used Maybelline's Colossal (Yellow tube) in the waterproof formula. It is my HG. After trying this I think I might have found my new HG!! In order to get a lot of length and volume you have to use multiple coats. I've used 5 coats with NO clumping at all. Just make sure you curl your lashes beforehand. This is kind of a dupe for They're Real for me (but much cheaper!) People have asked me if my eyelashes are fake with this mascara! I love it!!

this was such a let down!
i have really long eyelashes. but they are a bit thin, so i thought this may be quite good for volume considering the good reviews.
i use bobby brown and mac mascara, but as a means of comparison i have also used covergirl lash blast (the orange tube) in not waterproof.
compared to the lashblast, the rocket sucks so bad.
the rocket it very heavy, and clumps like crazy. it weighed down my eye lashes and made them look so awful.
after reading the other reviews, im guessing this is horrible for people with long eyelashes. lashblast separates, lengthens and makes your eyelashes look beautiful and natural. same price range, but much better quality.

hands down, save your money.

Lovely dramatic drugstore mascara! It's very volumizing and gives decent length if you apply one thick coat and can be built up even more if you like very thick mascara-ed lashes. Not amazing at holding a curl, but so few mascaras are :( I've found that if you curl your lashes beforehand, then apply a light coat, you'll have some volume, length and a decent curl :) So a small tradeoff between curl and volume. I still very slightly prefer bristle hair wands, and this one is plastic, but it works lovely still :)

I am a 70 year old woman & I have used many mascara's over the years. I find the Rocket Volume to be the best I have used in all the years. It makes my eyelashes look thicker & longer. I didn't realize I had lashes this long & thick. I love it because it is so easy to remove with my regular face cleanser. My 14 & 17 year old grand daughters use this product too. The girls are the ones that made me try it & it is great!!

I really like this mascara! The pros are that it volumizes, cute packaging, separates lashes, and curls them really well. Some cons I noticed is that the brush is really hard and it hurts the first time using it. It also doesn't give as much length as I want. But this is a good mascara for the price and I will be repurchasing.
