Very good, inexpensive shadow collection that belongs in nearly every woman's makeup case. Four super-neutral, very matte colors that can be used in a variety of ways from super-natural looks to glam and smoky. Long-lasting and blendable, these shadows are a real find!

This quad has become a staple. I buy them more than I have any other cosmetic. The darkest color is an ideal eyebrow filler. I discovered domed brushes recently and they have made all the differnce in application, other brushes grabbed and skipped. Now I do a lot more contouring and these colors have really come into their own.

I agree it is a great long lasting eyeshadow. I am having problems finding this product. Has it been discontinued? I could not find it at either CVS or Walgreens.

This is my HG eyeshadow. It's ridiculously cheap but the quality is better than any department store quad I've ever seen. Some of you, especially the younger ladies, might find the Canyon Classic collection a bit boring but it's a must-have staple for most women. All four colors are extremely wearable and flatters most skin tones. I love the silky matte finish and blendability. I tossed the little applicator and use a brush to apply instead. Love it! My only complaint is a minor one: I wish PF sold replacement pans for the quad since I go through the lightest shade the fastest. It's my all-purpose base color while I rarely use the darkest shade. Don't take the quad away from me, though. I love being able to pop it into my make-up bag when I travel or need to do my make-up on the go. No more fussing with 2 or 3 different eyeshadow compacts.

Great eyeshadows, no shimmer and goes on smoothly with no creasing. My only complaint is the horrible packaging, the plastic cover popped off.(I have the old one where the four shadows are across. The new ones are in a 2x2 format). Decent size applicator if you don't use a shadow brush. I like this shadow more than Revlon, Sonia Kashuk and Clinique.

Physician's formula has really great e/s. at least I liked their original ones--never really cared for the "planet eyes" kind or the new baked shadows. Their quads however came in very wearable colors and had a good silky texture. I def. recommend these if they still make them.

This is the only eyeshadow that I've continually since being in college... The colors are standard and great for a neutral eye. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and go on powdery. They've great staying power. The highlighter is the best I've found, better than the mac, estee lauder, and lancome ones I've tried in the past.

As with the quartz quartet, these shadows are soft, smooth, sheer, and blend very easily. I think the quartz quartet shadows are a tiny bit softer, but I'm not complaining. These are great neutrals, and the darkest shadow is my HG for filling in brows, it lasts all day. They do crease on me by the end of the day, but all shadows do, I just need to try a base. I wish they had more color choices, b/c I'd definitely get more. Great buy!

Great e/s!! I love the colors, many different looks possible from natural to dramatic. I just wish the package didn't feel so cheap and flimsy. Great value for little $$.

HG! This is my favorite eyeshadow! With the 4 colors, you can create a a very subtle OR a very dramatic look. I use this quad almost every day. I recently found a new color of this Quad, Metallic Nudes. I really like that one too, but the Matte Canyon Classics is amazing! I use a little foundation over my eyelids and this stays on all day!

For the most part, I like to stick to neutral eye makeup and am always looking for good quality, yet affordable shadows. And this quad fits the bill perfectly! It comes in four shades (that have been described perfectly )and it has a great, silky texture, not at all chalky like some matte shadows. The shades create a flawless, classic that can go anytime, anywhere. It doesn't make me look like I'm wearing eye makeup, it just makes me look like I have naturally pretty eyes. And best of all, NO creasing on my oily lids, even if I forget to use a base. All this for less than ten bucks-YIPPEE! Tip-the beige and taupe shades also look great on the lower lid with a subtle, shimmery browbone highlight. I will buy this always and forever-don't you dare discontinue this Physician's Formula!!!!

The colors in this palette are nothing short of gorgeous. They're very versatile and there's at least one shade in there that will work with your skintone - guaranteed. There's Granite, an intense dark brown, Slate, a pinky/beige. Ash Mauve, a cool toned grey/taupe, and Rose Quartz, a neutral fleshy tone.

They can be mixed and matched in dozens of combinations and wear very well. A light touch is all that's needed since they seem to be pretty heavily pigmented. I use a brush instead of the enclosed sponge applicator for the best results.

Now for the bad news - for some reason these shadows irritate the living hell out of my eyes. I assumed they'd be gentle and hypo-allergenic but whenever I wear these colors, I have to keep my allergy eye drops handy or I'll be in agony within a few short hours. I rarely wear my PF palette now for this very reason. It's just not worth the discomfort.

I seem to be the only person that can't wear PF shadows, though, so take that statement for what it's worth. I bet most people wouldn't have any trouble at all wearing them.

I've been using this Quad for a pretty long time now. I've practically given up on other shadows because they never seem the colour you see in the compact when you apply to your eyes or they turn out thick and chalky. These four colours...I simply adore! So natural and goes on smoothly without problems and never creases. The bonus is that it stays from morning to night without the need for touch-ups. I use it even for evenings out. I just play a little more with the darker shades and add on a bit more for drama. Love it!!

These are high quality eye shadows, with smooth texture and blendability. I appreciate it too that such matte options are still available. The only reason I would not re-purchase this quad is that the colors lean more towards the grey family, rather than browns/"nakeds." I read of so many green-eyed women like myself who say that grey e/s makes their eye color "pop," but I'm one of those rare ones that ends up with tired-looking eyes when wearing even a hint of grey on my lids.

These colors are great- very classic. I like them since they aren't so shimmery, so you can wear them to work (such as if you work in a business type setting).

While I liked this product, I find its only good for the winter. The colours are too matte for the summer as it will give you a washed out look. Two of the brown colours are too similar. Nice product. Blends well but doesn't do much for me so I won't be repurchasing

What a breath of fresh air! This is the only matte quad I could find in the entire drugstore. It has a downy, blendable texture and a sheer-to-medium finish that is versatile for light AND dark skin tones. The four shades provide options for outlining the crease, lining the eye, defining the underbrow area, highlighting the brow bone, or just creating a soft, universal wash of color on the lid. The workable colors include a brown-toned gray, a rich brown, a light fawn, and an ultra-light beige-sand.

Once again, an insurpassbable eyeshadow quad--If I could give it 6 lipsticks, I would.

definite staple for me! this is great because for work because it has no shimmer... it seems like all the cosmetic companies are pooring glitter into their products and it gets real old, real quick! this shadow is perfectly and utterly matte and glitter free! love it!
