If it has less than a 70% approval rating on MUA, I love it lmao. NO SILICONES. NO SILICONES. NO SILICONES! !!!!!! I could shout it from every roof top when I actually discover a drugstore foundation whose top 3 ingredients are not silicones. I can't use foundations with 'cones and during a time when it was getting next to impossible to find a drugstore one without one, Rimmel swoops in and introduces Clean Finish.

I will be so sad if this ever gets discontinued (and let's face it, it will. Because everything I love gets discontinued.) It doesn't break me out, it doesn't make me look greasy, it covers well... can be sheered out or built up, has this nice little applicator so you aren't pounding a bottle against your hands to get any product out, and has a wide color selection of warmer, cooler and neutral shades. Oh annnnnnnd it's like $4-5 bucks a bottle. How can you beat it? You can't. I feel like yelling when talking about this foundation, that's how happy it makes me.

This stuff is impressive!
With a couple coats, this foundation actually diminishes the appearance of your pores :)

I love the spatula and the consistency of this formula. It's different but great. It's NOT heavy at all and it feels CLEAN just like it says.
I do not feel greasy nor dry. I really am impressed with this stuff. I gave it 4 lippies because coverage is not extremely flawless but definitely good enough :) My face looks and feels smooth and clean. The True Ivory cover is an exact match for my complexion! Awesome! Would buy again and I do recommend.

*I am a bare minerals fan. When I'm on an extreme budget (even though this isn't minerals) I'll grab this one! Thanks.

This foundation wasnt the best for me, It didnt match my skin tone, and it doesnt last all day, maybe if i had a better primer. It didnt work on my oily skin and made me break out.

This actually does make your skin look poreless because it doesn't settle into your skin as another reviewer mentioned. It's not cakey looking and looks natural while still giving good coverage. The coverage isn't as good as foundations such as reckon color stay, but it does still provide good coverage. There is an applicator inside which is helpful because the formula is quite thick, closer to a paste consistency than a liquid. Nonetheless, it's easy to blend into your skin and dries to a dewy finish. As long as you set it with powder, it can give you a nice matte finish. This covers redness nicely which was mainly why I bought it. I also have freckles which it does a decent job covering. Occasionally, I breakout and this does just an okay job covering. I still need to use concealer, but when I do my face looks almost flawless. I like this better than Rimmel's Match Perfection because it has better coverage. This foundation also matches my skin really well. I'm really pale so I'm glad they had a wide variety of color selections for pale people. They didn't have very many shades for darker skins though. It has pretty good lasting power when set with a powder (no primer was used). It lasted almost the whole day and didn't look cakey by the end of the day either. I found the best way to apply this was with a flat top or stippling brush. Overall, it's a great foundation for the price!

UPDATE: Still lovin' it, I'm giving it an extra star because it's now my favorite foundation.

for a CHEAP drugstore foundation, this one actually exceeded my expectations. i was expecting chalky, difficult to blend, etc. but this was very creamy, the spatula is AWESOME. the only think i do not like about it is that the coloring is a bit off...im a NARS siberia, so i have very fair skin, and i bought this in ivory 120, the lightest shade they had, and its still a tad too dark. the coverage is medium and my pores really do disappear. I'd definitely put a very light dusting of finishing powder on it though, it transfers a bit.

I bought it for around $5, which is one of the lowest prices for drug store foundation. Others are $11-15. It matches perfectly to my skin tone and lightly evens out my complexion. I like the creamy texture and the finish is very smooth. When you open the bottle, it comes out as a spatula, which I think is a lot better than pouring out the amount you want. I use very little foundation, so about two scoops the amount that the spatula takes out is usually enough for me. It's very light and I don't feel it on my skin. It works very well with a primer/base, but I don't recommend using it without one. It doesn't last very long. I do recommend this product, however it isn't for anyone who is looking for more than medium coverage. :)

I went to Walmart with every intention of buying Almay's Truly Lasting Color foundation but my shade was out so I was forced to look for an alternative. I don't usually buy foundation that's less than $4, but I decided to give this product a shot...and I'm so glad I did! It feels lightweight on my skin and covers my (huge) pores quite well. I will definitely repurchase.

I LOVE this foundation! I only tried it because it looked like it would match my super-pale skin (True Ivory), and I could not possibly be happier with it. I love the little applicator paddle, I love that it feels light but wears all day, I love that it makes my ginormous pores look smaller, and I especially love that it's under $5 a bottle. Another great thing for me is that it doesn't break out my super-sensitive skin. I don't have enough great things to say about this makeup. I'm stockpiling it in case it gets discontinued.

***Update***
I still think this is a pretty good foundation, but we moved from Utah (dry, hot/cold, alternately) to Seattle, WA (NOT dry!), and I found that it oxidized strangely on me, and seemed to slide around my face a lot. I also think it's a better foundation in cold weather than in warm. My new fave is L'Oreal's Magic Perfecting BB Cream in Fair.

I tried the Clean Finish 100% poreless in 120 Ivory and it's like putting chalk on my face. The texture is actually nice and creamy first on, though the spatula is unpleasantly suggestive of a bricklayer's trowel which doesn't make me feel better. Am I to slather this stuff into my pores to make them go away like I'm plastering over any imperfections? Not what I want in a foundation. Anyway, it went on nice, but the color shifted and became a nasty chalky shade too pale for my skin. This is after going on about perfect. So I threw it out. Not even worth the gas to take it back to the store and get my money back. Disappointed.

I loved this when I put it on. I bought it in 'Warm Ivory". It looked fantastic, the color was perfect and really did minimize pores. Then, in an hour, I was orange! Like an oompa loompa! I tried some on my hand. It looked beautiful. In an hour - bright orange! WTH?! So, suffice to say I can't use it. Unless I have a reason to want to be orange for a day.

So, I just bought this today, so it may be a bit soon to rave about it already. But i just had to!
My shade is True Ivory
Pros:
-Light-Medium coverage, buildable
-VERY light weight, I feel nothing on my face
-Really does make me look "poreless"!
-LOVE the packaging. Very cute and fresh, plus the spatula is super neat and unique.
-Very blendable
Cons:
-DOES wear off easily. SO use a primer/powder
-No SPF, but if you wear a SPF lotion underneath, you should be fine :)
-It oxidizes. If you are as pale that pale can be, you wont be able to find your right shade :( Luckily, the one I bought oxidizes to my actual skin tone. How convenient! Haha
Price: $5.30. WOW! What a steal!
Packaging: Like i said before: Fresh, cute, spatula is cool.
Would I buy again?: Probably :) LOVE this so far! Will update if I find anything wrong with it
****UPDATE****
So I took off a lippie because I think it gave me some pimples..... Such a let down!

Love this product! I don't usually use liquid foundation. However, I love putting this on over my concealer on days when I need a bit more coverage. Works well in my dry and oily areas. Best part, it matches my skin very well, and I love that is easy to apply. Would recommend!

I had a coupon for this product, and since I love to try different things out I decided why not. At first I thought I loved it, but then upon continuous use I realized that this product was making me insanely oily during the day. I've tried off and on to use this product and have no luck. I didn't spend to much on the product, under $3 so I can't really complain. I won't be repurchasing.

I love the Rimmel London Clean Finish foundation. It is a liquid foundation that claims to lake you look "100% poreless." I use the shade 230 Warm Ivory. I have very big pores no matter what I do, and throughout the day they get bigger. Rimmel London does not make me look 100% poreless, but it does a GREAT job of looking mostly poreless. I am very happy with it, I also get great coverage with it. I pair it up with the Rimmel Hide the blemish concealer. I use the concealer as a back up. And to finish it off I grab my Rimmel Stay Matte press powder. Love love love it! I have super oily skin and it controls all my shine! I wouldn't say all day long, (no make up is perfect, right?) i only blot once again during the day.

This is amazing. My favorite MU ever. It reminds me of Colorstay in that the coverage is amazing. It doesn't "dry" like Colorstay, though. When it sets, it's still dewy. On me, anyway. I had a hard time finding a color to match but I ended up getting two and mixing them. I paid $4.00 each so it was cheap, too. It comes with this sort of long spatula connected to the cap which I love, though it may be harder to get the last of it out when it gets closer to the bottom. You really do need the spatula to get it out though, it's sort of thick-ish. I am in the middle of a "purging" from Tazorac and my face is RAW. So since I am missing my top layer of skin, I was concerned about basically stuffing this MU into my open pores, but I have had absolutely no problem. And my skin is pretty sensitive, so I'm pretty happy about that!

My experience with foundation makeup has generally been limited to drugstore lines. Over the years, I have found many of them to be perfectly mediocre. But I continue to buy them because I keep a tight makeup budget but I believe that foundation gives a little added protection to bare skin and makes you look finished.
Basically, I look for the following qualities:
-Can I get the foundation in a shade that matches my skin tone (VERY light, but with obvious yellow undertones)?
-Can I mix the foundation with a little moisturizer without it getting all gummy?
-Can I get good coverage without looking like I'm caked with stage makeup?
Rimmel Clean Finish has satisfied the above requirements. The selection of skin tones seems to be pretty good for a lower-end drugstore line. In fact, I've gotten a close-to-perfect match with one of their shades. This alone makes the product valuable to me. I always have a hard time getting a good skin tone match and I HATE that tell-tale line at the jaw or neck when you've gotten the color wrong. I also like that I have been able to "cut" the makeup with a little moisturizer to ease blending with no ill effects or drastic reduction in coverage...and I like the coverage level. It makes my complexion look really even. It also holds its look and coverage for hours without getting pilled or cracked. I still liked the look at the end of the day as much as I did when I first applied it.
It is a thicker product which comes with a little spatula applicator, which I thought was a strange feature, but it is actually quite helpful in getting little dollops out of the bottle.
My only complaint is that it finishes in a matte way, which can make me look dry, but I compensate by making sure I mix a bit of a good moisturizer with the foundation and then try not to overload any finishing powder on top of it. Even with that small nit-pick about the finish/sheen, I think the product provides a really good value that works well for my needs. (PS...used shade 240 Soft Beige)

Bought this with a coupon and it was only around $2.. I thought the lightest color looked a shade or 2 too dark, but I always get a "tad" darker in the summer, so I bought it anyways.. tried it and went back to a revlon foundation.. a few weeks ago I decided to pull this one back out and I have no idea why i didnt like it the first time around! I wish it was in a pump or tube, but packaging aside.. i have been wearing this everytime I do my makeup (2 or 3 x a week) The formula is thin, but it dries very quickly! I recommend dabbing a bit on your forehead - blend.. then your cheek - blend.. and so on.. do not dab this all over if you arent fast at putting on foundation. You can apply with fingertips or a brush, but its a bit more tricky with a brush and I dont feel like it ever "settles" into my skin that way.. overall, the color is a bit dark, but I dont apply very much to my jawline, so can blend it out until it matches my skin.. it lasts all day and it hasnt broken me out that I can tell.

This foundation is great! It's really inexpensive and it gives me great coverage. I don't have a lot of blemishes or spots to cover on my face, so I mostly use foundation to minimize the appearance of my pores as well as to neutralize the redness of my cheeks...and this does just that! It applies like a regular foundation, but dries very quickly, which at first I didn't like. But then I realized I could apply a very small amount and gradually build up my coverage, which is awesome. I have combination skin, and this doesn't emphasize my dry spots, make me overly oily, or cause me to break out. I'm very fair with yellow/warm undertones, and 130 True Ivory is a great match for me.

Had to purchase a foundation from the drugstore quickly and picked up this cheap little gem! Works so well for me with my oily skin...still need to blot but I need to blot no matter what (even with my YSL foundation) as far as drugstore goes for me this and the CoverGirl Natureluxe foundations are the best :-) Loved it and will repurchase at 4.99 less a dollar coupon this only cost me 3.99!!

For the price ($4) it's quite good. My mother bought it for herself, but because I'm a makeup junkie I had to try it. The formula was very thick and I think it covered well and gave a pore less look. It also did very well on my skin since I think i had less breakouts. However personally it is not my first choice since I'm young and I think it looks a little bit heavy on me. I also don't like wearing it because they don't have a color light enough for me.
