This is such a great staple color for anyone's collection. It is shimmery but not too shimmery. It is a great lid color, brow bone highlight, inner corner highlight.

I have shroom in the pro pan form and plan on buying a backup in pot form for the makeup bag I keep in my pocketbook. I LOVE THIS SHADOW and there is very rarely a day when I do a look without it. I love it as an inner corner highlight or all over wash. I recently purchased Soft&Gentle MSF and after wearing it for a few days realized I wasn't crazy about the chunky glitter and racked my brain about what I already owned that I could use. I defaulted to my shroom and LOVE the soft (lol) creamy look I get using this on my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, on my cupids bow and on my chin. Love this product and find it extremley verstaile - would definatley purchase again.

Really lovely color! paired with swiss chocolate in the crease really brings out my blue eyes, also goes well as a highlighting shade when doing either black or brown/bronze smokey eyes. Pretty much versatile enough for any look!
Goes on smoothly and blends well
I highly recommend this eyeshadow and would definately repurchase

I don't love the packaging when it comes in pot form, but I love the pro pans or depots to put into my 15 pan palette.
I use Shroom over my Painterly Paint Pot and it creates such a nice eye-brightening base that I can add just about any shadow in the crease and it looks good.
I only gave it 4 lippies because it seems like it is probably easily dupable and there are just a ton of similar colors out there.

This is a must have, along with Malt for me. I use it almost every day, and have hit pan several times here. In fact, there's almost always one of these in the bag o five products whenever i "go back to MAC". On my coloring, it's perfect.
Of course, every shadow can't be perfect for everyone. But as far as longevity and blendability, this is a winner. I've used some MAC shadows that are just clumpy and weird, this one doesn't have that off-putting texture.

This is a light beige/ivory/champagne color w an irridescent sheen. A MAC artist recommended this as a hightlight to pair with Mulch and Tempting for a smokey bronze eye. I pair this with Mulch on the lid and Tempting or BB Bronze in the crease and black/brown liner. Gorgeous! I'm fair-medium Asian with yellow undertones and dk brown eyes.
I also have Ricepaper, which is more yellow, but I prefer Shroom for a smokey eye and Ricepaper paired with Omega and Coquette for a neutral eye.

EDIT: I prefer Orb as a highlight for a smokey eye because it's matte.

My go-to highlight shadow. Smooth as butter, applies true to pan. I, as many others, use this in almost every look I do. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

This is a great highliting eyeshadow that you can use in your inner corner, on the brow bone, or even as a highlighter fo your face (such as your cheekbones). It is a satin finish creamy light eyeshadow that will look great for a special occasion or even for everyday, since it has just the perfect amount of shimmer. I would reccomend using a primer or at least a liquid/creme foundation or mousturizer with this product for best results. A definite rebuy since it is such a functional yet beautiful colour.

Gorgeous highlight, one of my favourites. Goes well with pretty much any and every eyeshadow, and really add a nice sheen to any matte looks. The texture is nice and its lasting power, like any MAC shadow, is pretty long-lasting. I have a pretty large collection of MAC shadows, and this one is one of the few which I can see almost the entire bottom of the pan. I think this colour will go well on any skintone.


It's hard for me to pick favourite looks with Shroom, because I find it goes well with pretty much everything! But here are a few MAC shadows that I think it goes well with in general:

- Satin Taupe
- Espresso
- Wedge
- Sketch
- MAC's paint in Sublime Nature
- Swiss Chocolate
- Plumage


Keep in mind those are just a few... Shroom is just LOVELY, and can work with pretty much anything! I will definitely repurchase (which will be soon!)

I really like this as an all over lid colour as well as an inner corner/brow highlight. You can also use it anywhere on your face (cheek bone, forehead, nose, cupids bow) as a highlighter as it's a subtle light sheen. I would describe the colour as very, very light champagne with a sheen.

There's a reason this is a best seller. This is a great neutral eyeshadow that looks great on everyone. It works well as a base color or as a highlight. It stays put and doesn't end up creased. Its not too sparkly or shiny but still eye catching. Love this shade and like all mac shadows, it's high quality, last a long time and has no fall out.

I really like this shadow as an all over color for when I am running late. It makes my eyes look awake, and I certainly don't look as tired. It's great as a base to build other colors on top of as well! I use it as a highlight under my brows as well. Over it's a great shade that has multiple uses! The only thing is i could see this being easily duped, it seems like a fairly common shade, so if you can't afford MAC then I'm sure you could find a cheaper dupe!

I like it as a highlighter and an all-over lid color. It's easy to blend and is pigmented. I use it for day and night looks. It's one of those eyeshadows that I would recommend to others for their makeup kit. It's not overwhelmingly glittery either.

This is the perfect colour base for my light brown eyes. It is a light, soft beige with a slight shimmer. I'm trying to find an alternative but so far, no luck. I love, love this.

This is a beautiful BEAUTIFUL must have eye shadow. It's a shimmery light beige that is gorgeous as a highlighter or for all over the eye. You can do a sheer wash of color or layer it for a more pigmented color. I don't know I've gotten by without it!

No matter if cool or warm-toned: buy it. You won't regret. Perfect neutral shade, goes with day and eveningmake-up. When I'm in rush and there's no time for the whole routine, I apply shroom on my browbone or all over the lid, it makes me look awake and gives a nice satin glow. No need to layer and layer..and layer.. because even though this is a very light ivory the colour is well pigmented.

Like another reviewer mentioned, you realize how irreplaceable this shadow is when you lose it! This is the exact amount of shimmer/hi lite for day and a staple base hi lite shade for night. Cannot live without it!
