Bought this product along with the Volum' Express Colossal mascara.
Of the two, I prefer the Colossal more, but would choose CoverGirl's LashBlast over both these products any day.
For starters, the container feels cheap and almost childish, and the brushes aren't the best. It's really hard to build up the product for longer lashes, especially with my Asian eyelashes.
I will probably only use these mascaras if I run out my other, better, mascara.
Overall, I would not purchase neither of these again.

My favorite mascara!! It makes you eyelashes fuller and longer looking, it's great :D :D :D And it most definatley is water proof. I wore it to a waterpark and it didn't run or smear. I love it and I will buy it again!

It definitely lengthens and applies volume to my Asian lashes, but the waterproof consistency literally fails. If water or sweat comes to contact with your lashes after applying the product, it will smudge. Once you open the product, you'll notice a lot of the product is on the wand. So you have to take a napkin and just swipe the excess off so when you apply for the first time, you won't have flakes.

I love that it does make me look like I'm wearing falsies without wearing the fake lashes, but I give it a thumbs down for its waterproof formula. I would most likely buy the regular formula when I run out.

I have repurchased this sooo many times so I definitely love this mascara for many reasons. I have long eyelashes but they are dead straight & resist any curl. This is the first mascara I've found to hold the curl the whole time I have it on!

The waterproof formula does a great job but can be a pain to remove (Maybelline Express Care Makeup remover, works great!). The brush is spoon-shaped, which I use to push up into my lashes to get extra lift. I am guilty of sleeping with this mascara on a few times (after an exhausting night out) and in the morning my lashes have still held up and look amazing.

It doesn't separate as well as other mascaras but I like the effect it gives. Though at times if you don't wipe off excess product on the edge of the opening it can clump & give you that 3 eyelash look we all hate so be careful!

Overall I have been really impressed with this mascara and will continue to repurchase. Highly recommend!

This is the only mascara that I've ever used that would hold up my short, straight lashes. After curling my lashes, I apply one to two coats of this mascara and I am fine for the rest of the day! It does not smudge on me and lasts all day. Love, love this!

I purchased this mascara after hearing good things about it here and there. It really does create the look of false lashes. I initially purchased false lashes for an event I had coming up, but also bought this product, and ended up not needing the fake lashes at all, since this mascara added so much length and volume.

I took it down one notch as it does tend to clump my lashes together (and I have to clean the wand off a bit before I apply) but I just use a spooly brush after I apply, and that fixes it.

I haven't yet seen this mascara flake off, and I only saw slight smudging after 7 hours at a summer wedding. For this price, this is the best mascara I've tried in a while.

This mascara was clumpy and made my eyelashes stick together. Instead of giving me volume, it just gave me a sticky, clumpy mess. Plus, it was really hard to remove it, even with makeup remover, and taking it off made my eyelashes fall out. Ick!

I have heard SO much about this mascara, from rave reviews to completely hating this mascara. I absolutely love trying out new mascaras so I decided to pick this up in the waterproof version in very black.
I absolutely love the idea of the curved wand and i think it really helps when applying the mascara. It's super volumizing and slightly lengthening. It really volumizes my eyelashes toward the roots so i would go over it with a lengthening mascara for even nicer eyelashes.
I found it not as waterproof as i wanted it to be. Yes, it held the curl in some humidity but i went swimming/ took a shower and the curl dropped. I know, you're probably wondering why i would wear waterproof mascara and it's because i have to go straight from school or sports to work. I don't have enough time to redo all my makeup so i just avoid my face in the shower and wash my body. However, none of it came off and it was no where close to raccoon eyes (:
The one thing i don't like about this mascara is that it does not look smooth on your eyelashes. After about 1-2 months it starts drying out and when you apply it, it gives little clumps that aren't bad enough to comb out but bad enough to have it not look natural. During the first 2 months it is a great mascara though.
Overall i love this mascara, and I would repurchase!

I've heard soooo many great things about this mascara so i've decided to try it myself.

I have been using lots of Maybelline's mascaras in the past..before i met CG's Lash ;)

I have thin, weak lashes so i'm always, always looking for something that'll hold my curls all day and make my lashes voluminous without being clumpy! i like feathery lashes :)

Unfortunately, It was a huge mistake for me to think that maybe i should try something different and hopefully that'll be as good as CG Lash Blast...
The wand was pretty easy to use actually, but it DOESN'T hold my curls at all.....
it wasn't cute :/ the lengthening is great however.

I only use this for my lower lashes since lash blast's wand is a little too big and hard to apply on them.

Overall, i think maybelline could've done a better job, i still love the packaging, i love the wand, Not so much on the actual product :/

I have been using the Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara since the beginning of this year. I must say that I am happy with it! It does give more volume to my lashes and I like the spoon shaped wand. As a Makeup Artist by profession I also use this on my clients before applying actual false lashes, however, I use disposable spoolies whenever I apply it on their lashes (for hygienic purposes) but it still does add volume even when applied without the spoon shaped wand. It is waterproof so it's ideal for brides to use on their wedding day.
To actually get the false lashes effect, you'd still have to apply at least 2 to 3 coats, unless you have naturally thick and long lashes then you won't need to apply as much. As always, make sure the previous coat is completely dry before applying another coat to prevent it from clumping on your lashes.

Overall, it's a good product, I am personally satisfied with it.=)

I love this mascara!!! I rarely buy drugstore makeup but read some raving reviews about this mascara. I am very impressed with Falsies!!! It's a great cheap drugstore alternative to my beloved Diorshow and Diorshow Iconic. It gives my straight Asian lashes volume, length and holds the curl pretty well... It doesn't smudge, doesn't clump and really is waterproof... I didn't give it 5 lippies because it doesn't curl as well as Iconic and weighs lashes down just a tad plus it's a little dry. I love it anyway! And will repurchase

UPDATE:
I stopped using the mascara bc my lashes started falling out like crazy.
It's so sad bc I love love love this mascara!!! :(

Did not like how it clumped up my lashes, I don't even have a lot of lashes and it made it look like I had even less. The color is very dark but that is the only good thing. I did not like the brush, staying power good but will not buy again.

I've been using this mascara for a month or so and so far, this mascara has been okay. It's not the best I've tried but then again, I'm still on the search for my HG. Because it's waterproof, it does hold a curl well. I have short Asian lashes so holding a curl is important to me. I find the brush a little awkward. One side is flat and the other is normal. I've used both sides and I find the formula is a little clumpy. Not too too bad, but I notice some clumps when applying. Usually I just use a spooly and brush it out. It does, however, smudge after a few hours. I have combo skin so finding a mascara that doesn't smudge would be awesome. I always have to be aware to wipe off the smudge after a few hours to make sure I don't have raccoon eyes. Other than the problems I've mentioned, this mascara is decent. I always end up turning to Asian brand mascaras as they seem a bit better on smudging and waterproof side. I was hoping that there would be a North American version that could possibly provide the same result. No luck yet!

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!! It has everything I look for in a mascara! It gives my sad Asian lashes awesome volume, length, and most importantly, it holds my curl ALL day (which is very hard to look for for my lashes). I couldn't ask for a better mascara. This has quickly become my HG mascara and I will def. be repurchasing this over and over. I have tried using the waterproof version of the colossal and I honestly don't see a difference between the two ... so I love and recommend both!

This stuff gets my lashes thicker and slightly longer with nice definition, so far, not clumpy or goopy. Doesn't flake or smudge on my oily skin...unless I go swimming. But I haven't been able to find any WP mascara that doesn't gimme raccoon eyes in the pool.

I am shocked this product is getting so many bad reviews. It works great on my lashes and does what it says. I do use a eyelash primer under it and I don't have any trouble with clumping at all from it. I have to use a primer under all my mascara no matter what brand it is. High dollar to cheap they all smudge on me. Also it is great at being water proof but still removes very easy with my coconut oil

This mascara leans towards the wetter ones, which doesn't exactly suit my lashes but still volumizes to a certain extent. It does not look like I'm wearing "falsies"

I bought this mascara yesterday and I wanted to use it while poolside tanning. Well, it's waterproof alright. I love that about it but I cannot use it as an every day mascara because it's so clumpy! Even if I separate my lashes while applying or clean out the wand, the solution is too sticky and makes my lashes look all spidery. I'll just be using this at the beach, pool, or waterpark.

All time favorite mascara! I have very long natural eyelashes, but they are very light and virtually invisible without mascara. I only use waterproof mascaras, as I am a contact wearer and often have to use eye drops during the day. This mascara does not move throughout the day. It is also great at holding curls in the lashes and doesn't leave them feeling waxy. It is a true black color and actually does give a somewhat "false lash efffect".
