Best conditioner I've ever used, and I've used everything...I have dry frizzy ends and this eliminates the frizz and makes my hair sssooo soft! My skin is sensitive to silicone so I've been searching for a cheap natural conditioner. Will definitely buy again once I run out.

I thought it was great but when I went in for my last highlighting my colorist thought my hair was drier than usual. This was the only change I made. I think it's a really great inexpensive product but only for normal hair. Dry highlighted / colored hair may needs more hydration then you think. There is a ton of it so I have been using it for shaving and will use here and there but not as a daily conditioner. I would definately recommend this for you normal haired girls.

This would work best on fine or thin hair that is slightly dry or slightly oily, not thick or dry hair. I have really dry hair, hair that takes a while for the natural oils to distribute after I wash it. I use air drying as the test of how moisturizing something really is and with this, it's still pretty dry. I even think it volumizes hair... I get extra fullness that I don't want. I like how you get a ton of it and it the consistency but whatever moisture it has is rinsed straight down the drain in the shower. Also while it doesn't have silicones, it does have wax, which is similar.

I can't beleive the positive reviews here. O_O
I have waist long thin asian hair, and although this 'helped' after using herbal essences, it's made my hair residuey which I didn't even think was possible!! I will not be buying this again.

Wow! I'm usually really skeptical about any product, since my hair [even if it's fine] apparently can never be actually mositurized by any product claiming to do just that. Most times it just feels dry & stiff, & I rarely even use heat on my wavy hair! It's color treated & highlighted blonde, so it's VERY dry even if it's recovered a lot over the past year. I have used so many products to tame my picky hair & while some do work well, this is actually amazing to me. I'm hard to impress this much.

I used it as a CO-wash today, then after washing I added a bit more to the ends, which are really thirsty, & then let it sit while I shaved my legs. After rinsing I admit it was not the softest feeling. It wasn't bad, but I think because of the lack of silicones, it just didn't have that silky smooth feeling. That's alright though, because cones build up on my hair pretty easily & I've been using silicone free products for a long time anyway. I added a small bit as a leave in while I was scrunching it & then just let it air dry. Wow. My hair is SO soft. I didn't need gel or mousse, anything at all, to achieve my natural wave pattern. They were so soft & defined, whereas yesterday my waves were....crunchy & just awful. Even my bangs, which I flat iron, are super soft & my hair does have a nice sheen! I really adore this product so far. Of course the review is premature since this is the first time I've used this particular conditioner, but I will update most definitely! I was just so shocked at the result that I had to write something. The reviews really give the product justice :)

[ Edit ]
Well, I've been using this ever since the initial review, & I love it now just as much as I loved it then :) I actually use it within this mixture/recipe used over on a different forum, called the SMT, & it really boosts the effectiveness of the conditioner. Sometimes I use it to CO-wash with but for my hair, which is fine/wavy, it can be a bit too thick/moisturizing, so I only do it when my hair needs a kick & I won't really be going anywhere. I really love this stuff though. it makes my hair have such nice waves, & when I use a small bit as a leave in conditioner it always leaves my dry ends super soft :) I wanted to try the new one I've seen advertised, the smooth vitality or something like that, which has coconut oil, since I'm almost out of this one. Either way I'll end up repurchasing :)

What a pleasant surprise. I grew my hair out and was looking for a conditioner that would help me with the tangles and I'm so glad I found this. I have fine hair (a lot of it) and my longest layer is almost to my elbows. Not only does this conditioner moisturize but it also doesn't weigh my hair down and make it look flat. I was using Pureology's volumizing conditioner before, which I also loved when I had shorter hair, but am happy to switch to this. Tresemme's Naturals is dirt cheap so I don't feel bad about using a lot :) My hair's tangle free, soft, and not weighed down at all. Definite rebuy.

Let me tell you....I have switched from using Paul Mitchell Sulfate free shampoo to ONLY washing with this (I rinse, wash, repeat) and it works AMAZINGLY. My hair is shoulder length, and when I wear it curly I use a lot of product. I wore it curly yesterday and I used this conditioner to wash this morning and it removed all of the build up, I straightened my hair and it feels great!! I was sure it would feel heavy/oily from not using shamoo, but it doesn't. This conditioner works as well and WEN, which I loved but was too expensive. HG HG HG!

This is a surprisingly good, inexpensive, silicone-free conditioner. My hair is thick but fine, and many conditioners with silicones weigh it down. This doesn't. I still like Terax Crema and Matrix hydrating conditioner for deeper conditioning, but this is a great find for daily use.

I've been using salon brand conditioners for years, always looking for something that works well but isn't ridiculously expensive and is at least somewhat natural. I have medium thickness, longer, wavy hair that has been color treated a ton in my lifetime. This stuff that costs me 3x less than what I was spending on conditioners is just as good if not better :D
I have finally found my HG conditioner and the bonus is that it is without silicones
UPDATE: I still love this stuff! I've started using it as a leave in conditioner, just a little bit after the shower and I run it through my whole head. It helps with the frizz for sure. yay

After yeas of using very expensive salon produtcts i stumbled on this line one day at Tesco. I can sincerely say this is my HG conditioner.

My hair is blonde, fine, bra strap lenghnt (im trying to it grow out), with weaved in hair extensions for fullness and a bit of lenght. I always like to have my hair in tip top condition and i would go to any length and pay any price to have it looking amazing.

I bought this conditioner on a whim, and i fell inlove. It moisturises well, but it dosent over moisturises like for example the Kerastase Masqueintense. It offers a good slip, smells nice and it makes hair look healthy. All of this allong with the fact that it dosent contain silicones, that some people claim are detrimental in the long run, aloe vera, other oils, a unbeatable price for the huge bottle make it a MUST HAVE PRODUCT for any person who wants great hair.

This is a great all-around conditioner, perfect for everyday. It's moisturizing enough to calm the frizz but does not weigh the hair down. I've tried so many conditioners, high end and drugstore brands, that don't moisturize my hair enough or give my hair that slip it needs in the shower to detangle my hair. This gives my hair nice slip even without silicones. And for a huge bottle (25 fl oz I think?) for around $5 what's not to like?

So l am one of those people that tend to buy every salon product, and every single time, l have hope of seeing wonders done on my hair. Not once have l had that with a salon conditioner. They make my hair actually feel drier and give my hair a loss of shine. This product has amazed me. l have very thin hair, and it doesn`t weigh down my hair with that nasty silicone. lt leaves this very healthy moisturizing feel to it, and my hair has NEVER looked healthier! lt even feels like a cloud! ` am so happy with this product, and l only spend 5 dollars for a hugggeee bottle! Go and buy this stuff right now!=]

I'll keep this short and sweet:

Pros:
-Leaves your hair deliciously soft and smooth
-Volumizes - not a lot, but enough to satisfy me
-Keeps hair relatively untangled even the day after use
-Dirt cheap ($6 max, and the bottle is huge)
-All "natural" ingredients (no silicones)

Cons:
-Not a miracle worker as the reviews would have you believe - it's a great conditioner, but don't expect perfect hair
-Doesn't give much shine to hair (but leaves it sooo soft, seriously, I could play with my hair all day thanks to this stuff)

In conclusion: given the low price, the natural ingredients, and the results, it's a decent conditioner and definitely worth a try. Go for it :)

Bought shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo smells fine, lathers OK, but leaves my hair a little straw-like when wet. That being said, once you put on the conditioner, that goes away. I have to say, the end result is great. My hair is usually a bit fuzzy, but even with no styling products, my hair is smooth and soft when dry. Not sure if it is the combination of the products, or just the conditioner, but the end result is pleasantly surprising.

For a conditioner that doesn't contain 'cones, this provides a lot of slip! You just have to use a lot if you have hair like mine (thin, kinky and tangly), but it's a big bottle and a great price, so I don't feel like I have to hold back. Good for co washes too!

This product definately deserves the high reviews. Its very inexpensive, smells good and moisturizes well without being to heavey or leaving any kind of film/residue and it's fairly easy to find.

Awesome for daily use.

I was thrilled to find a d/s silicone free conditioner. Though it's totally counter-intuitive when I use shampoo/conditioner w/ 'cones my hair turns into a fly-away mess. Total nightmare. That could also describe trying to find any conditioner, let alone a drugstore variety, that is 'cone free. Add in to that one that can effectively condition my dry hair, and it's losing battle. At least until I found this. This is perfect. Everything I wanted and more. It leaves my hair perfectly conditioned, but not weighed down. It rinses easily, and leaves my hair relatively tangle-free. And it's cheap and easily available. Really couldn't ask for more.

I was thrilled to see a silicone free drugstore conditioner in a large bottle and was even more thrilled that Walgreens was having a sale of this conditioner - buy 3 for $10 (original price is $5.99 for a 25 ML bottle). Even without the deal, the price is still excellent for the size that you get.

I have to say that I'm quite happy with this product. I have used it a couple of times so far. I have long hair that is thick and coarse. This conditioner is light-weight and has great slip and does a good job with detangling. My hair does feel soft and silky after I use it. It doesn't make my hair look as sleek as I was hoping (i still experience some fly-away strands) but I'm not sure if it's because the product is coming up short or if it's because my coarse hair is just being "stubborn."

The product contains aloe and avocado, which is a good thing. The scent is somewhat floral and is pleasant and not overpowering.

Some of the reviewers mentioned that they purchased a bottle with a pump but I didn't see any of those types of bottles at Walgreens.

I hope Tres Semme doesn't discontinue this product because I am now a loyal fan!
