Ok, first of all this is a terrible under eye concealer (it creases like crazy!) I don't use this for covering acne because it's texture it so thick that it accentuates them (not good). I use this only as a lid primer: It stays in place the whole day (making my eye makeup last longer) and also covers spider veins amazingly. I have medium skin and use NW 30 which is perfect for my skin tone. The thing I love about this is that as soon as I dab some on my lids my eyes wake up. Would repurchase. Definitely better than those MAC primers for eyes.

I bought this when I started to have these horrible breakouts on my cheekbones and was in desperate need of a concealer good enough to cover them up. I was recommended this concealer in a MAC store, and the MUA even applied this onto my spots. It seemed to work, so i bought one. Almost two years later and I've hit the bottom of the pan and am looking forward to get my second one. I don't wear makeup everyday and I always try to apply in moderation too, hence the two-year lifetime. Thankfully I don't deal with bad breakouts anymore, but this is my go-to concealer whenever a random spot comes up. I found that applying a few thin layers helps in making the concealer stay put, rather than applying it thickly in one go. I use a blending brush and patiently blend a small amount, then adding another thin layer on top, and so on if I needed it. Only about half a year ago did I discover that this could work under my eyes too, if applied thinly. I didn't initially use it for my undereye circles as reviewers kept saying it would look too cakey. But if I'm in a hurry and don't have time to apply a full-face makeup, I just pop this on my spots, under my eyes and set with powder, and I'm good to go. Be careful about applying it under the eyes though, because there were times when I was in too much of a hurry, applied way too much on my circles and by mid day, I would be horrified to see the cracks in between the cakey mess. I always make sure my undereye area is well moisturised before I apply this on top too. And to be honest, on my combination skin, this concealer doesn't cover my spots all day long, but I guess it lasts for a decent time and you could always carry this little pot with you in your handbag to reapply. Until I find a better concealer, I'm sticking to this one. I would suggest you use something to scoop it out - like a cotton bud - rather than sticking your finger into it, as it could get a little unsanitary. But then again I always seem to find myself in a hurry and not care about that. For reference, I'm NC43-44 and I use shade NW35. The shade isn't exactly spot-on, but I always blend the edges well, and it's hardly noticeable. At least I hope so!

I like this product because it is very full coverage and great for covering up blemishes or acne scars. while 18$ is kind of pricy, this concealer will last you a really long time so you get your money's worth. it's also easy to apply because you can just use your fingers and its not hard for me to blend. I was surprised when this concealer didn't break me out because it is thick and i think it's safe to use over acne

however it's not that great as an undereye concealer because it tends to crease or look cakey. the staying power also isn't amazing, especially when I use this under my eyes alone. while the packaging makes it really compact and easy to use, it is not hygienic. also I don't think this would be good for dry skin

overall, this is a good concealer but I'm probably going to start trying other concealers soon to find something that ill really love

I like this for concealing on my face and think it's too heavy for under my eyes - unless I really work with it!
To get it to not crease or disappear under my eyes I have to use primer and then set with powder. But it creases eventually anyway. I did manage a few times to get the combination right so it just dries to a nice powder finish but can't be bothered to anymore.
My mom (in her 50s) also uses this under her eyes and likes it but it also creases on her and we're constantly blending it in during the day - which eventually just wipes off the product!

Just FYI - for those who like this formula and are trying to hide their dark circles - make sure you get a color in NW instead of NC. It looks more natural. I was recommended the NC by a MAC SA and noticed it made me look GREY under the eyes but for redness on my face, its great.

Amazing concealer, wouldn't go back to any other after using this. It hides any imperfections, brightens and smooths skin. If you have good skin, you could use this alone for dark circles or imperfections and just buff it into skin.

I originally bought this for my under eye dark circles, which it is awful for. No matter how I apply this under my eyes, it will end up looking cakey. Then I started using it for my blemishes and scars/dark spots, which I really like it for; using a tiny brush to concentrate the product on the spots works really well.
Now I actually use it more as a foundation - I put "swatches" of it on my forehead, nose, chin and cheeks, and then blend it out with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, and I love it.
I'm not so sure if I will buy this again though, but it is a nice concealer for blemishes/imperfections, and I haven't found that it clogs my pores or break me out.

It is OK. As a user of Lancome's photogenic, which was discontinued, I struggle to find a product that can serve as a good replacement. I find this product to be a bit sticky and wet vs. the Lancome product. I have a Bobbi Brown concealer as well that is almost identical in terms of product consistency with the Mac product. I am still in search of a good blemish concealer that can replace my Lancome pot!

This concealer would be lovely if it could actually last more than an hour without caking it on. Be careful with how much you put because it can become so fake you actually look scary.

i wouldnt actually buy this product again because they dont have the exact colour for me (the Pro Longwear concealer does though) but if they did, i would buy this concealer.
The packaging is exactly the same as the eyeshadows.
this concealer is maximum coverage and i cant use it under my eyes because it looks too heavy and cakey. It is very 'thick' when you run your brush through the cream it drags a lot, its very dense.
You only need the littlest bit to cover any blemishes or dark spots. It doesnt smell and has 35SPF in it.
i bought this in america, i forgot how much for it but it was no more than $20 USD (i think). in australia it is $36AUD (i think)
i use this over my foundation and the colour is too light, but once it does heat up with my faces' heat the colour darkens just a tad, but it is still too light. I use NC30 but the NC35 was much much more yellow and dark.

I bought this concealer after I read so many good reviews about it. I really tried to love this product but it just doesn't work for me. I bought it as an under eye concealer but it looks cakey no matter how I apply it and it sits in my fine lines making them more visible. I'm only 24 but when I use this concealer under my eyes I look 10 years older.

If you have dry skin under your eyes then stay away from this products.
Also I don't like the packaging because I end up with dirt in the product since you use your fingers or a brush and I seem to end up getting it dirty.

IMPORTANT: this product has SPF 35 so stay away from this concealer if you want your pictures taken with flash!!!!

This is hands down the best concealer I've tried for covering up blemishes. It does not work underneath my eyes though, but that's only because my skin there is too thin and dry.
I use a NC20 which is really close to my skin colour, but if you have porcelain or ebony skin, it will probably be difficult to find one that suits you.
It also has spf 35 in it, but it does not reflect light and it offers a great amount of coverage. If you are looking for something sheer, you may want to choose another one.
The only negative thing I have to say about this is that it's not cruelty free, which is the main reason why I'm not gonna repurchase this product.

can't remember if I had this or the pro longwear - either way undoubtedly the best concealer I've tried. Unfortunately I keep losing them so will definitely be picking one up at the airport next week. No concealer I've tried has the staying power and there's no oily residue like my current temporary Rimmel coverstick. To be honest, this product is definitely worth the price, and if I'm getting it at the MAC store or the duty free, I always make note to get matched then buy the lighter shade. (I like to pick one that's a little lighter than my skin tone to brighten up underneath my eyes.)

I love this concealer! At first I wasn't really sold on the form of the concealer, but I find it really good because it's pretty creamy like and easy to apply! The solid form of this concealer actually helps me to stay pretty matte during the day and gives a good coverage of unperfections.

Age: 30-35   Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Brown

After 14 years of using it on and off, I won't say it's perfect (which concealer is?) but it definitely works for my skin.

I have normal/combi skin and am past the age where blemishes and looking super-matte are a major priority. I prefer something that is flexible to use (opaque or sheer as I please), and LOOKS like real skin, while correcting skin tone and dark circles or the odd blemish or two.

Studiofinish has a waxy texture that is thick and dry when cool, but softens and emulsifies when warmed. I can apply it thick, then easily sheer it out where needed. It isn’t powdery and doesn't set, so the texture stays skin-like and oh-so discreet while providing coverage. If you use the right shade and don't set it with powder it looks like you have no makeup on. I also love that they have different undertones as I like using NW for dark circles and NC/C for any dark or red spots. Not the cheapest or the most expensive, but one pot lasts forever because you don't need much, and it doesn't separate and go bad like tube concealers can.

It’s not perfect; if you’re very oily and/or acne-prone, it can slide off because it doesn't set. (In general pot products also aren't a good idea for acnegenic skins because you can contaminate the product if you double-dip your brush or finger after touching your skin.) If you are very dry or you're using this in a cold climate, you also need to make sure you moisturize well beforehand, or the product is hard to blend out.

Will probably keep buying for a long time!

I've used this product for almost an entire year. It has high coverage but can get cakey very easily. I do like this product and it does last for a long time but don't use if you have dry skin. I have a lot of patches and dry skin on my forehead and and nose so when I apply this it looks worse since the product is thick. I would recommended the prolong wear concealer which I'm currently using because since its a liquid it doesn't make it as noticeable. It is a bit light for me (NC20) which is weird since in the prolong wear one NC20 is a bit darker but that's because I bought it in the dead of winter.
Either way I like the product, I've used it for a long time, has great coverage but I would mainly recommend this to people with oily to combination skin. I would also not repurchase.

Pros
Has high coverage
Lasts for a long time
Stays on skin for a long time

Cons
Gets cakey quickly
Makes dry skin look worse
Not too easy to blend

The one concealer for me! It actually conceals the dark circles under my eyes, has a lovely, creamy texture, and doesn't dry out the skin. Makes me look less tired immediately. I can be a lazy person makeup-wise, but I honestly say this is the only product I put on my face everyday.

Practical, small packaging. I apply it with a brush but it is also a nice concealer to take with you (camping, sleeping over, etc) and you can easily apply it with your finger if you don't have a brush by hand. It is best to put some powder over it because it can be a bit shiny, plus then it stays in place longer.

When I bought it I thought it was quite pricey, but a little goes a long way! I've bought mine definitely more than a year ago and it is still half full. For a top brand it's affordable, and for the quality you get it's worth paying a little more than I usually would.

Good: conceals perfectly, nice texture, price/quality
Bad: can be a bit shiny, sometimes it creases a little (so you need to put some powder over it)

I can recommend it to everyone.

A MAC artist recommended that I purchase this concealer to cover up my blemishes when I stopped by the counter yesterday. I will give this product credit where credit is due: it provides great coverage and lasts throughout the day. However, it settled into my dry areas and intensified two cystic blemishes I applied this concealer over. Also, NW15 was too light for me, even though I'm very fair skinned. This product is definitely too thick to use under the eyes, so please shy away from using it on that area of the face. If you're interested in purchasing a MAC concealer I recommend Select Moisturecover over Studio Finish. It is a more versatile product.

A concealer that actually conceals. I have Clinique Advanced and Shiseido Natural Finish concealers but MAC SF is the only one I really use. It's heavy and a bit greasy but it doesn't make me break out or aggravate any hormonal cysts I may be covering (ahem Clinique). I know concealer should be applied under foundation but I conceal on top of my foundation, as it seems to stay in place better for me this way (even with face primer). I was matched at the MAC counter to NC30 back in the summer, and though I've gotten a bit paler it still blends right in.
I took off a lippie because the packaging (a flip-open pot like their eyeshadows) is not very hygenic but that's probably the best way to keep it (it's quite thick in consistenty). I take a bit out with a qtip so I'm not putting my concealer brush directly in the pot and possibly contaminating it. A little goes a long way, and I blend out around the blemish with a soft brush. Set with MUFE HD Powder and it stays all day. A decent price (around $15 USD) and it will last a long time. My HG concealer that I'd absolutely repurchase.

I had a huge, visible bruise right on my forehead which I got a few days before my Bat-Mitzvah and didn't seem to be going away. So I went to the MAC counter at Nordstroms and the lady put this on my bruise (along with the studio fix powder, which didnt do a whole lot) and it disappeared. It has GREAT coverage, but it's kinda annoying to apply and blend in a pinch. It works really well under the eye, too, but not the best at concealing the redness around my nose. It's not really an everyday concealer. Ever since it completely saved my butt on my Bat-Mitzvah I have fallen in love with it and am now always going to count on it. GREAT concealer, but it's expensive. Glad I wasn't the one paying.
