I also received this as a sample from Sephora. I never used primer before, but I am sold. I have some fine lines around my eyes and this almost hides them completely. I use it with the Face and Body foundation and they work very well together. I survived an entire day at a festival yesterday and my makeup still looked flawless by the end of the night. I don't know how I ever lived without primer before!

Love it. I used to be skeptical of primers in general - I don't wear much makeup anyway so what do I care about staying power? Plus I get milia and nose blackheads super easily, so naturally I fear all new products and usually research the bejeezus out of them.

I got a deluxe sample of this on a whim and oh. my. god. I didn't realize what poor texture my skin had until I tried it. Soft skin. Smooth skin. Mostly-controlled flakies. And after a few months of use, no milia! No blackheads! Amor. I've worn this under and over my sunblock, after which I usually add a wee bit of concealer as needed, plus a drop of blush so I don't look dead, and that's all folks. Brilliant!

Just bought a full size bottle of the neutral, but I think I'd like to try the mauve or blue. I really wish my sephora wouldn't treat me like a freeloader when I ask for samples - it's such a pain (for me and them) to have to return %70 of my purchases. Bah.

I received a mini-sample size at Sephora on my last visit. Having never used a primer before, I was thinking, "Okay... so is this a BS product that I don't really need?" However, I definitely notice a difference on how smoothly my foundation applies and how long my foundation and blush last when I use this product. Also, it doesn't seem to irritate my skin in any way (dry it out or cause breakouts), which I quite liked. Next time, I will be looking into buying the regular size.

I like the finish of this primer, it wears well on my oily skin, no breakouts, and gives my foundation a nice finish. I've also used LM, Smashbox, and Chanel. I think this one is the best, but some reviewers have written that you "get more" product than Smashbox for less money. Actually they both contain the SAME amount-MUFE just comes in a larger bottle than SB, VERY deceiving. Will repurchase...

I really like this primer! I am using it with MUFE HD Foundation and the HD finishing powder and it is working out great.

I haven't tried this under any other foundations. I like the smooth silky feel better than the English Ideas Foundation Primer I was using. I feel like this ones mattifies. Also, I have noticed that my makeup lasts longer. When I used MUFE HD Foundation without it it seemed to sink in and absorb - also the shade seemed to oxidize....when I used the primer underneath those problems were ancient history.

I would highly recommend this to anyone but especially if you are using the MUFE HD Foundation.

I love this primer! Perfect for combo-oily skin types. I don't have any lines/wrinkles that need smoothing but this does create an awesome base and acts like a moisturizer on those mornings where I simply don't have enough time for my full routine. I am going to start my 3rd bottle soon!

I mostly like this product. It does make my makeup last about 5-6 hours looking like new, but after that my gel blush starts to fade a bit. A couple pumps definitely goes a long way, plus I've found that it is buildable, so if I want extra staying power for my makeup I'll put a second layer on. I've noticed that letting it dry completely before I apply my foundation is key. I have decent oil control experiences with it, but I like a dewy texture. This product probably wouldn't be ideal for someone looking for an all-day matte finish.

I had hoped that it would be more effective in minimizing lines/pores/etc but no such luck. When I want a really flawless skin texture and extended (7 hours+) staying power for makeup I have to use this primer in conjunction with something silicone based. That being said, the MUFE is fine for everyday wear.

I was hoping that between the MUFE HD foundation and the primer, I would find the perfect answer to gorgeous skin if you like to look grey and ashy toned. I was let down by both products. After a month or so my skin began breaking out noticing this first on my cheeks (a place where I never break out). If I were to break out, which is rare, it would be in my T zone. I do have oily/combination skin. I was much more impressed with other primers I have had in the past. This is not worth the $30 and the packaging is not impressive either for the cost. My main importance would be the product however and it doesn't live up to what I thought it would for the price.

I started using MUFE HD primer about 2-3 weeks after I started using the MUFE HD foundation. I can't say that it does anything for fine lines, wrinkles or pores. BUT it does make my foundation last longer. 2 pumps covers my entire face. It does not feel greasy after drying and I don't experience "make up slip down" where it felt like my make up was just sliding off my face (hello LG spackle, I'm talking to you!!)

I will def. repurchase and i hope it continues to perform in the hot humid summer.

I wanted to love this but to tell you the truth i saw no change in my skin quality...nothing at all...it did nothing for smoothing out fine lines and enlarged pores or making foundation stay longer...it's like the formula has ingredients missing... will not be re-purchasing

This is actually a very good primer for foundation, powder or any other face make-up. It mattes the skin slightly and doesn't do too much for oil control. But it really does make foundation go on smoothly. I apply my foundation with a brush and when I us this primer I don't see any brush strokes or streaks of foundation as I smooth it out. It grabs powder very well, so anything you put on top like blush or bronzer will go on smoothly and won't get blotchy. I really wish this did more for oil control but I will continue to buy this because it makes face makeup look really nice.

I too got this as a deluxe sample from Sephora. I love this product. I have dry skin and usually just put moisturizer under my make-up. I gave this a try and now it's a must. Try it if can get to Sephora, they will give you a sample.

I got this as a sample from Sephora and after using it a few times, i've convinced that this does absolutely nothing for my skin. I have large pores and rather oily skin so I was hoping this would act as a mattifiante as well as even out my skin tone, yet it failed to do either. Luckily this was only a sample so I didn't really lose anything. I highly suggest testing this stuff out and see how it stays with your face.

I got the deluxe sample at sephora and once I ran out of that I bought a full size. You only need a small amount to cover your face which surprised me. It soaks in your skin with in less than a minute which is good if your in a hurry. It is oil free so it does not have a greasy feel like other primers (smashbox photo finish).Your skin actually feels mosturized after using this. It does not cover every thing but it is better then what i have used in the past. I like the pump. For what you pay for you get a good sized bottle which probably will last because of the little amount you have to use. This is good to use if your looking for a primer that wont break you out or make you look shiny. A must buy.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks along with my MUFE HD foundation. I can definitely say that this and my MUFE HD foundation are HGs. I have tried many primers in the past: Smashbox ( too heavy and greasy), LM (did not fill in pores), BE Prime Time (works great, but I wanted to try something new), and even Monistat (cheap but gave me blackheads). The whole MUFE line is my new love, their eye shadows have 85% pigmentation, their foundations are water- resistant and do not contain fillers. On to my review about HD Primer in #0, this makes my makeup last all day long. It has lasted me through 10 hour school/work days in 90+ degree weather. It is light weight, non greasy, did not cause any breakouts or blackheads (I am very blackhead prone). I only need just one pump to cover my entire face. It applies smoothly and leaves my skin feeling very soft. For those of you who find that this primer did not fill in your pores I recommend trying to rub the primer into your skin more firmly where your pores are. I have major pores on my cheeks, cause by bismuth from Bare Minerals (luckily are diminishing now). I find that rubbing the primer a little more in those areas make those pores invisible!

This is my first primer, so I can't compare it to others (it was a toss up between buying this and buying Smashbox's Photo Finish Light and I ended up choosing this based on getting more in the bottle for less money), but I can say that I like the way this applies and the way it makes my foundation go on smoother and more evenly while creating a velvety matte texture to my skin.

I'm a little disappointed that it didn't do much of anything to camouflage the enlarged pores in my t-zone or even out my skin tone (I tried the green tinted one in store and it turned my skin grey, so I had to go with neutral and give up the hope of evening out the redder areas of my face), but the overall effect is still very nice.

With this on under my MAC Select Tint, my face looks cleaner, less made up and more uniform in texture. Time will tell how it affects the long-term wear of my makeup since I didn't give it a full day to work its magic and keep my makeup from sliding off, but for now, I'm very pleased with this and it looks like the bottle I got is going to last ages based on how little I need to use (I never could have imagined how a drop of anything smaller than a pea could possibly cover your entire face so smoothly and evenly before I tried this).

I tried it because the International Makeup Artist "David Arbid" that he did the stunning smoky eye makeup for me at the MUF's counter in Hong Kong. He applied it in the whole face including the eye area. It's smooth, hydrate and lightweight; no color and no shimmer. It looks like a moisturize. I got one just after finished the makeup by David. I now use it everyday. Good recommendation.

I was in Sephora looking for a new primer. I have used only Smashbox but hoped to find something not as greasy feeling. I have extremely dry skin with fine lines around the eyes so you would think I would like something heavy! This product is thinner and seems to "set" in about 10-15 seconds. That means your foundation will not roll or pill up when you apply it over the primer. I don't think there is a product out there that can truly fill in lines neatly but if you have found one please email or PM me!! Overall, I would purchase this again, I like the way my foundation (EA ceramide plumping foundation cream) glides over my face and stays put.

This new High Definition primer is more like a nice smoothing serum in my opinion, and not too much like the primers that are thicker, and full of silicones that fill in lines, wrinkles, and pores. It feels comfortable on the skin and it did really help to keep the MUFE Hi Def foundation on all day, but after applying my foundation over this primer, I did notice that I wasn't too happy about the appearance of my pores. So, it's good for helping to keep foundation in place, and to prevent uneven wear during the day, but it's not so great if you need more pore and wrinkle correction. I would say that people with oily skin would like it and may not even need anything under it, because it does feel like part-treatment and part-primer. The Neutral shade looks whitish in the bottle, but goes on clear. There are several other shades for brightening and color correcting, too. It's a fine product but not as primer-ish as I wanted it to be.
