I have two Colour Riche lipsticks, in the shades 235 Nude and 240 Dune.
Nude is marked "for blondes" and Dune "for dark brunettes".
As with other L'oreal products marketed for specific eye colors, I ignore this.

Nude is a color I was actually searching for, like many looking for the perfect nude. I was going to say it has no shimmer, although if you look at it in the tube, there are tiny shimmer particles in it. These are not noticeable. On lips it just has a nice sheen. This color may be a touch too brown for me, but I do like it. EDIT - I have been wearing this more. I like the satin finish, and if it was a touch less brown and more peach I would like it more (they probably do make a shade like that).

Dune is lighter than Nude, very shimmery (gold), and more caramelly. I like how this looks on my lips when I wear it alone, when my lips are not too pigmented. The shimmer looks nicest near the cupid's bow.

All in all, I find them to be good colors, and good quality. I like the gold cases, and find it convenient the numbers are on the top and bottom. The bottom also has a circular swatch of the color.
I did not buy these, but if they had been in store when I was on my nude lipstick quest, I would have snapped them up! I think I would repurchase.

The lipsticks tend to be varied - the lighter tones are too sheer and the reds either stain your lips almost permanently (British Red) or come right off (Drumbeat Red). It's almost like different colors are different brands sometimes.
But Sea Fleur, which is a sort of muted fucshia, is my favorite evening lipstick. It stays on fairly well, keeps my lips from getting dry, and the color is perfect for me as I tend to wear a lot of black and purple.
I'd be lost without it, and the color isn't to be found anywhere else.

There's some major false advertising going on here. These lipsticks are incredibly sheer. They subtly tint lips while adding shine...and a somewhat odd, grainy appearance. I see no reason to purchase this in a light shades, but it seems like a safe way to play around with reds and wines. The color "Bella Donna Mauve" is a (shiny, sheer) dupe of MAC's popular "Brave."

I own a few of these lipsticks, I really like how smoothly they apply and they are not TOO pigmented for me as my lipstick tends to not last long on me anyway and I would prefer not to have that lipstick ring of colour left around my mouth. I thought the shades recommended in the made for me naturals line was great, I bought both shades Dune and Silk and they look wonderful on. Although I actually think I might have chosen the wrong category for me, I am pale with dark brown hair, either way it worked out. Will continue to purchase.

The colors I haver are a little sheer - I donīt mean that they lack of pigment, but the color is not as intense as the name suggests. And thatīs why I like them so much. I have very pale skin, and because of the sheer formula I can wear plums, reds and mauves.
Texture is amazing: very comfortable, good staying power. I donīt mind the smell, but I think the lipsticks are a bit drying.
The tube is in a square format, so it stays where I put it.

an okay lipstick, very pleasant smooth texture, doesn't dry out my lips at all...however the staying power sucks, that is what i mainly look for in a lipstick, atleast i can use some lip balm over it if my lips get abit dried out...anyways, the color disappears in less than a couple of hours...it's too bad coz i really liked the color i bought it in...i forgot the name of the shade but it was a natural peachy pink shade, very pretty color that looks great on warm/neutral toned girls, it's not too light, not too bright, not too dark and not too shiny/glossy (adds just a slight flattering shine on my lips). i think they discontinued this shade because the last time i checked they don't have it anymore...i saw a similar light-medium peachy-pink in revlon's colorstay range, so i might try that one instead, and hopefully that one will last alot longer on my lips.

I bought "610 iced grape" and the color is very pretty but the case fell apart in a week, and the formula did not moisturize my lips as I ended up with very severe chapped lips :-( this surprised me b/c the color wore off quickly and I had to reapply it /all/ the time- so how did my lips get so chapped?! Never again!!

Why can't I find any other lipstick besides this that doesn't make my lips peel? If this lipstick didn't have the nasty smell it would be the perfect lipstick for me. They used to make Colour Supreme which was this without the stink but they stopped making that years ago and I've been searching for a replacement ever since...have found a few only to be discontinued shortly after discovering them! I've written to L'Oreal numerous times about that scent but never get a reply. Everyone complains so why do they keep it in them? I'm not crazy about the tube design because you have to line the top up before you put it together. Dumb pointless design. Take the scent out and it would be perfect!

I actually tried this again for the first time in a very very long time. Many of my signature reds and plums have since been discontinued but may as well I'm on a total beige/nude kick right now. I bought the Colour Riche Limited Edition in Aishwarya's Beige and was not pleased w/the shade (read my review). I also bought this in a LE Champange Toast (the display has Scarlette Johansen wearing a really pretty red) and was hoping for more than I got as far as color goes. I love the formula but the color was just too sheer it gave me a YLBB look which I don't mind but I'd rather have gotten more color. It's not a long lasting formula either but it is so creamy and moisturizing that I don't mind having to reapply. I actually topped this w/MAC's Mad Cap and another time w/Majestic (I believe this one was a LE) and really liked the effect. If for nothing else I'd rebuy a suitable color just for the formula itself.

The lipstick I wear every day is L'Oreal Colour Riche in Sugar Plum. It is a universally flattering shade. But I also have several different shades of this same brand. It is a wonderful product and there are so many colors to choose from! There is a touch of shine to make your lips look natural. It is a creamy formula so your lips don't feel dry. Something that some people may not like about this is that the color can go on a little more sheer than perhaps a more expensive brand or a more true to color formula. However, being in my early 20's I find that I like the more natural, sheer formula. I would absolutely recommend.

This is a matte like lipstick which I was ok in Brazil Nut (rosy brown). However, be careful of applying gloss on top as it can completely change the colour to something hideous which I found out the hard way. It's a bit drying though so it needs some moisture lock. Also has no staying power.

The shade Earth Rose is the most flattering of the line on my NC40 skin. It is a beautiful warm rose that instantly brightens my face as soon as I put it on. I have no idea why I always looked past this shade before but so glad I tried it! My new HG everyday lipcolor!

I'm not giving this product a good review, although I have to confess that I own about 5 different colors! The thing that attracts me to color riche is that there is a huge range of shades and many of them are really nice, but the product itself is not very high quality. I find it to have a very waxy texture and not a very high concentration of pigment. So, while it does feel nice on the lips, it doesn't last long at all. I really have to apply it heavily to get a color as true as I'd like and this ends up feeling goopy and smeary. I wish it were a better product because of the colors, but alas, it's not.

I love Color Riche Lipsticks. I have several colors: Cinnamon Toast, Ginger Spice, Toasted Almond, Earth Rose, Gilded Pink, and Carmel Latte. Nice rich color that feels light and smooth on my lips. Doesn't dry out my lips and I like the smell. I will buy more colors.

If you're gonna get drugstore lipstick, Colour Riche is the way to go. This line has a great array of colors and tones for everyone, and it really lasts. I've been wearing colour riche for years and will never switch, I just love both the way it feels on, and it's lasting power.

I'm fair and cool toned, so I really like their pink and mauvy colors.
Favorites are Mulberry, Make Me Blush, Bronze Coin, and Raspberries.
