Basically this mascara isn't bad..but for $28 it isn't great at all!! My biggest problem with it is removing it..i think it's harder to properly get off then waterproof mascara! Plus you have to remove a lot of the product off the wand before you use it or your eyelashes will clump and look ridiculous. It does do it's job though of making your lashes look super long and thick, but it's sooo wet like someone else said and it was always leaving black marks below my brow. I don't recommend it..maybe if it was half the price but not for almost $30.

I love this mascara! This is my holy grail mascara. I have hard to curl, downward straight asian lashes! You have to get the technique down, in order to show this products true potential. It separates the lashes, and there are no clumps. I apply 2-3 coats of this baby. It takes less than 5 mins to use this mascara. I first use the wand, in 360 motion like a fan. I use the wand in a fan motion, you poke the mascara wand sideways in the corner (tearduct) of your eye, then poke the wand in upward motions towards the middle of your lashes, and towards the end of your lashes you poke the wand sideways. After, I finish doing this I slide the wand back and forth, it separates the lashes without needing to use a heated eyelash curler or comb. This totally kicks imju fiberwig ass, it takes 10x coats to show up anything. A PIC OF MY EYE IS IN THE PROFILE

This is my second mascara after YSL faux cils noir radical and i hated it at first but did it justice by practicing in front of the mirror to 'get used to it' cos i believe mascaras only reach their full potential when you know how to use it. And given this new applicator, i thought i should spend more time with it.

After the first try, clumps all over and it just DOESNT DRY! For someone who likes to put 3-4 coats of mascara for a DAY look, i really hated this. And i like to curl my lashes both before and after putting mascara cos my asian lashes just wont hold the curl during application of mascara. When i curl my lashes between coats, i feel like my lashes are about to fall out, unlike the noir radical which gave me no problems at all in this aspect.

After the second try, still doesnt dry but hey, i got used to the wand and it can give the exact same effect as the faux cils but it takes you twice the time to get there. And i am pretty sure even after having completely gotten used to it, it will still take me twice as long. Purely cos you do it LASH BY LASH, and you edit it LASH BY LASH. Oh, it lengthens nicely though. But the volume takes hell of a long time to build up. But once all is done, it has the same effect as faux cils and also more fanned out. (though i personally concluded i dont like my lashes to be more fanned out. Depending on your eye shape, determine yourself it your lashes look better fanned out or not)

All in all, its a great mascara if you have plenty of time on your hands and want something that will last for a really long time to justify the money spent on this mascara, Phenomen'eyes is your mascara. But to me, time is a much more important factor so i wil definitely not repurchase this product.

I really liked this mascara for seperating my lashes and reaching all of them with no clumping!

However, after I'd had it for 2 months, the tube BROKE and the inner tube of it came out when I tried to pull out the brush, I fixed it though but that's my main gripe. I might have just gotten a defect

I bought this the day it came out and I loved it! I still love it!

I have tried soooo many black mascaras, including all drugstore ones, diorshow, blackout, prescriptives, lash injection, all the mac ones, badgal, etc... this one is STILL in my top 5, even with the price.

it opens up my eyes SOOO well because you have more control with this ball applicator. when you're coating the lashes you're doing it in small sections instead of hitting 50-75% of them all at once and having them all go in one direction. it makes a H-U-G-E difference because you can have the lashes open up radially to follow the arch of your eyelid and make your whole eye shape more emphasized and defined.

if this sounds like the effect you want then GO FOR IT! it's worth the price. and don't get the telescopic loreal one because I bought that too and it sucks. it's nothing like this one at all, let alone an affordable substitue.

hi :) this my first reveiw and u gotta bare with my basic english :P
anyway,i got this in Brown 02,i wish i chose the black one cause the color doesnt show at all,but this color would be perfect if you want to look like you dont have any mascara on ;)
there are few things i like and dislike about this mascara
I LIKE:
-the ball applicator it is Perfect for reaching every single lash
it allows an extreemly precise coverage,it separates the lashes beautifully for a neat natural beautiful and long looking lashes,
it goes through the inner corner lashes and it does make a diffrence :-)
i will definitely be keeping the applicator after i run out of the product
-the packaging is elegant LOVE IT
I DONT LIKE :
-the formula is thick and messy it takes time to dry and after it dries u cant realy reapply its like u put hair spray on ur lashes lol
-if u want the perfect result u should brush ur lashes with this thing for like forever not practical for everyday use,
- if u'r not careful it hurts lol
But Over All this gives me beautiful glamourous eyes ,it gives me a sexy cat eye effect ;-) the brown one is EXTREEEEEEMLY natural looking perfect for day use and for the bottom lashes,if u use another black mascara on it before it dries u get a dramatic false lashes look, people keep asking me if i have false lashes on but i do have naturally curled n long lashess so,

will i buy again? no since i got the applicator and i hate the formula :P
hope this helped ¨^_^

I was a bit hesitant with this at first and admit that the ball shaped tip is a bit of a novelty. However, the product works great! It doesn't clump up much, except when I'm doing the finer bottom lashes, I'd have to be careful to make sure I don't have too much product on the spikes.

I would say this product defines the lashes and more natural looking. Wouldn't go for it if you're looking for something very dramatic. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge. I've even walked in light drizzle and it was fine!

I'd definitely purchase this again.

I LOVE this mascara. I have naturally long eyelashes to begin with, add this to the mix, and whoa. People have literally asked if I'm wearing false lashes. Yes, it is messy, but I have found that if I dab the excess on a tissue before applying, it REALLY helps.

I am glad I didn't pay for this, because such a rubbish formula doesn't justify a EUR50 price tag. It clumps on application and smudges after a couple of hours. The only saving grace is the quirky applicator, which catches even the smallest lashes at the outer corners of my eyes - perfect for a Bambi-eyes effect. I suppose I will throw away the tube and keep the applicator to use with my HG mascara, Cover Girl Lash Blast.

I am a SERIOUS mascara snob and there are a lot of things I like about this product, but also a lot of things I dislike. I do like the ball applicator, it gives you really precise coverage. I can get in and cover every tiny lash, which gives me a really nice, dramatic look. I do agree with the other reviewers, that it does smear really easily, and makes a mess when you try to touchup on mascara smudges (which I found happened a lot in the beginning!). The applicator definitely takes some getting used to, but I do like that the wand is short, which gives you more control. The L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion mascara, which has a similar applicator has a longer wand, which makes applying their mascara more difficult.

This mascara is nice, and give me a really nice look, when applied carefully, however, it was REALLY expensive, and I think I could achieve the same (or better) results with a less expensive mascara.

Age: 25-29   Skin: Acne-prone, Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Black

PROS:
1. The wand makes it easier for me to reach every single lash.
2. The formula is a BLACK. Extremely dramatic, not for day use.
3. The tube has a sort of suction when you pull out the wand that keeps globs and clumbs away.

CONS:
1. Formula smears
2. Expensive

I would not buy this product again. Its too expensive for what you're getting. I know of drugstore brands that are way better (Maybelline Full & Soft).

I tested this out in Sephora over a year ago when it first came out - the ball-tip brush is phenomenal but the formula stinks... it smears into raccoon eyes with no effort whatsoever. Two hours after I applied it & thought it dried, my eyes were a mess ...and nobody told me!! Shame on them. The formula needs to be adjusted, but the delivery method is sensational. Very innovative, I liked it. Until then, I'd never buy this (which by the way is insanely expensive... $30+ !!!).

This is my first review here, for an exceptional mascara.
I´ve tryed a lot, and I like it so much! Brush is perfect for tiny lashes.

I'm surprised this has so many rave reviews on youtube, but this was nothing special. Since the applicator was so small with spaced out bristles, it did nothing to my short and straight lashes and was very difficult for me to apply. I also found the applicator too spiky, and it hurt a bit to apply. The bristles are too stiff imho. Also, it smudged like crazy on me! I get pretty oily skin/eyelids so I'm pretty sure that's why. It gave me decent length, nothing amazing. This mascara is DEFINITELY not worth the hefty price. (I love the packaging though, haha)

I'm looking for length. This mascara definately does the job, however it takes forever to do your lashes one by one (feels long at 7am anyway) and then it takes forever until it dries!
So good to keep aside for going out, but definately not a day to day mascara.

This is a great mascara if your lashes naturally grow neatly, I have some friends with crisscross lashes and it made such a mess on them. It took a while to get perfect and it takes a little time each morning to put it on but is totally worth it. Lots of length, volume and very very separated lashes. My favourite thing was how it got my inner eyes lashes, ones i never new I had. These little lashes make all the difference to how your eyes look. I wish it wasn't such a small tube. it only lasted me about 4 weeks and $55 on mascara a month is a little much so I just use regular mascara and use my Phenomen Eyes to get those inner lashes.

This mascara really worked for me! I loved how lengthened and full my lashes looked, didn't get clumpy, really easy to use with the wand shape. Would def buy again, in fact, I'm using this all the time now. Also, my face wash, neutrogena facial bar, takes this off no problem!
