I didn't mind the smell or find it that strong (it fades quickly I found). However, I had to use quite a bit for it to really smooth my hair at all and then I'd have to run my fingers through my short, fine hair to give it volume again..and later in the day it would get frizzier than it's been in years. It did make my hair feel initially softer and shinier, but so frizzy it wasn't remotely worth it. It definitely didn't protect against humidity, I'd have been far better off with nothing on at all.

I'm a bzzagent & received this product for free. This is similar to one herbal essences came out with I think a year ago (red bottle, don't remember the name). The difference is that it did not weigh down my hair like that one did. Its very light, no heavy silicone or wax feeling. I have fine hair, but alot of it, and its pretty long. This gave my hair a light hold & helped moisturize the ends so they don't break as much. I am now using in place of my paul mitchel heat protect spray. I thhink its about $6.50 retail, but since its new alot of places have it on sale/coupons for it. Deffinitely try it out.

I received this sample as a part of a bzzagent campaign. I have always had REALLY frizzy hair and I have to straighten it every day. I have overall been really pleased with this product. I put it in after I blow dry but before I straighten my hair. It smooths it out and it makes it look really healthy and shiny. I will warn you though that if you use too much product, it will be really sticky, so add a little at a time. I enjoy the fresh smell from the product and will be buying it again and trying other products from this brand. I would recommend it if you have issues with flyaway hair.

I love this product! i use it everyday, especially when i go out. It smells really good, and it leaves your hair feeling really soft. It also makes your hair feel light, and give it allot of movement. I use it after i blow dry my hair, and i've noticed a difference in how it feels. the bottle it comes in is really cute, and it's pretty affordable too. It smells great. I would definitely buy this product again, and i would recommend it to my friends too.

Love this product and so does my daughter. We got a BOGO and it is the best. We both have wavy, kind of hard to manage hair and this gives us the perfect amount of control. It is not greasy and works so well with the blow dryer. I can no longer really style my hair without it. Will definitely buy again and again.

i LOVE this product. it does smooth and moisturize my hair a lot. but i gave it 4 instead of 5 because if i used too much, it'd be a bit sticky. it smells SOOO GOOODDD. i came across this product during one week at arts camp: my friend had this product but she didn't use it a lot and let me used most of it (teehee). i doted on it so much cuz the frizz was really wrecking my hair and my fav moisturing shampoo and conditioner were in too big bottles to carry around. the bottle is really cute and pink, with chrams, but the only thing is that i don't there is alot alotof product in the bottle cuz it looks thin, but it's a good product.

I also got to try this product as a BzzAgent, and am so glad I did! I have extremely fly-away hair, and this works so well! I used much too much the first time - hello, greasy! - but after that, only using a tiny bit gave me smooth, non-flyaway hair. Maybe no "lustre", but my hair's not too shiny anyway so that's not the product's fault! I actually really like the scent - it's creamy and a little fruity and it lasts. I'll totally repurchase this once my supply runs out!

I received this product as a BzzAgent and I LOVE it! My hair is so soft and smooth!, No frizziness, which I love since I have semi-wavy hair. Even the humidity doesn't touch it! It smells pretty nice too. I think the bottle/packaging looks a little cheap, but overall, an awesome product and a great price!

Here I am again, another Bzz Agent who received a free bottle to try. (I never noticed how many Bzz reviews are on here until recently!)
I am in the process of growing my hair out from a super, super short pixie, and it's now finally about chin length. I have fairly thick hair, although it's thinner now than when I was younger. When I first started using this stuff I used WAY too much, and I have to say that's a big mistake. I thought I didn't like the product because it made my hair feel almost heavy and greasy.
But if you use the right amount it does exactly what it says it will. I don't have fly aways with this stuff, and I'll be completely honest, it makes my hair just as smooth and shiny, if not more so, than a $20-plus bottle of Biosilk.
As an added bonus of using this product, it's been one of the most humid summers in a long time, and I am noticing that my hair is much less frizzy and "cotton candy" like than it usually is in very humid weather. I'm not doing anything else different, so I'm crediting the Luster Lotion for this.
The only thing I might change is the scent. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell bad at all, but I just wish it were a fresher scent.

I received a free bottle of this through BzzAgent to try. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it works so well on my long, graying hair. Because of the gray my hair can be coarse and stick up and the Smoothing Lustre Lotion does actually get it to sit down and stay still! I don't see any "luster" in my hair--nothing noticeable at least--but the scent is nice and not at all overwhelming or overpowering. I'm very happy with this product and would definitely buy it again!

I was able to try this thanks to BzzAgent. I am really liking it. My hair is long, thick and very prone to frizziness. I have used several different "smoothing" products and have never really found one that works completely the way I want it to, so I assumed it was going to be another one of those. Smooth Operator however is working very well for me - it actually keeps the frizz down for most of the day without being greasy, and it makes my hair feel really soft. It makes my slight waves seem softly sculpted and it keeps my ends tamed. Leaves my hair with the natural look, which is what I like. (I do use a light hairspray on top of it.) I am not a fan of scented hair products, but this scent is subtle enough for me (like shampoo), and I don't notice the scent as the day goes on. The only problem I have is that I have to use quite a lot of the product in one go for my thick hair, and of course that does make it more expensive in the long run. Still, I like this enough to repurchase when I run out, replacing the other smoothing stuff I had been using.

I got to try this product through BzzAgent. First of all, I love the smell. It's a very relaxing scent and isn't too overpowering. It's just a very pleasant smell. It also works very well to prevent frizz and dryness. My hair tends to get pretty dried out, especially in the summer. I hate it when I get those bad hair days where it just seems my hair won't cooperate and is drier than normal. I've noticed I've been having less of those bad hair days from the time I started using this lotion. My hair is shinier and less dry when I use it; my hair is easier to comb when I use it, too, and is less messy and dry by the end of the day. It also makes it smell wonderful. The package is really cute, too. I love the little charm. I'm very impressed and will probably continue to buy this product in the future. Recommended.

I got to try this for free through BzzAgent and I was pleasantly surprised. I am really lazy with my hair, and usually don't use products on a daily basis. However, I have been using this daily since I got it and I really like it. It smells nice, but the scent is really light so it's not going to bug you all day or anything. It made my hair smoother and softer. It reduced frizz for me and I like that it protects against heat damage. I use by applying to towel-dried hair, then i usually let my hair air dry for about 30 minutes before blow-drying. I also like it's even if I use too much, my hair doesn't look greasy or crunchy or gross. My only complaint is the packaging - I feel like it would appeal more to teenagers (and maybe that's what they are going for). Oh, if you have a Rite Aid nearby check it out - they have them bundled with trial sizes (which are actually pretty big). So for the price of the full-size, you get a bonus mini one.

This product works well, but the scent gets really gross after a couple of uses. The intially smell is good, sorft of lychee pineapple, but if when I used it for a week or so, the smell got gross. I haven't used this since then.

I have been using Got2B smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion for about a year and recently got to try its new, improved formula when Bzzagent sent me a sample. I love this stuff and it works great on my slightly wavy, frizz-prone hair especially in the Florida humidity. The pump bottle makes it easy to dispense and use and I like how I can use it on my hair wet or dry. I mainly use it on my dry hair before I straighten it. It really helps me get my hair straighter faster and keeps my hair straighter longer and less prone to frizz throughout the day. I also like that it protects my hair from my daily flat iron use and from UV rays. Overall, this is a great product at a great price and is easy to find at drugstores.

i bought this for $2 off so it was around only about $2.50 and i'm so glad i did! i have wavy hair that also gets dry-frizzy and this really tames it down without looking oily or greasy. its a lotion consistency so you can reapply as often as you need to and your hair doesnt get that oily look (like you get with serums). i use it on damp hair..add 2 pumps and twist my hair up....then take it down in an hour or two for nice tamed waves (not frizzy). or use it on dry hair to tame flyaways or define certai nparts. nice smell and love the colorful packaging, highly recommend if you have wavy hair

I got my hair permed and i hated it. (I am asian and a lot of asian people still get their hair permed and straightened)
The hair dresser put some styling product and it was too curly.
I came home and put my hair in a pony tail until i could wash it 2 days later. I washed it and my hair was now too frizzy and big.
I got a free sample package of got2be smooth operator from the buzzagent so i said hmm i'll try that. I put it on when my hair was wet and then blow dried it. It wasnt too oily which made my hair too curly and fake. It was like putting on hair wax but with moisture and without the stickiness. It defines curls but without making it look "permed" and fake. I also tried it when my hair was dry. its still nice but I like to put it on before i blow dry my hair. I love this! If your hair is curly and have little curls i highly recommend it!

BzzAgent here! I also got this as a sample. I absolutely love the smell of this product. It's almost candy-like, but the smell doesn't hang around all day, and it's not too overwhelming. I didn't know it had SPF in it, I must have missed that info in my kit, I think that's pretty awesome. I have VERY frizzy hair, but it's easily managed with my Chi. I really didn't see much of a difference when I used this. I put some in my bangs after they went a little nuts, and it calmed them down a little... I also used it all over and straightened my hair as per usual, but saw no noticeable difference. So... That's a good thing I guess, that means it doesn't make your hair greasy or weigh it down. So, since it contains hair protectants, and smells great, I'd buy it.

Got2be Smoothing Lustre Lotion - I received a sample of this through bzzagent to try and share coupons and samples with friends.

I have a lot of long fine textured hair that is bleached blonde on the top. I tried the product on my dry hair concentrating on the mid lengths and ends. Got2be smoothing lustre lotion wasn't greasy like other products and smelled like the beach to me. It is a good price for the size and has many functions. It blocks UV rays which is good for my color treated hair and reduced frizz some. I couldn't say how much it reduces frizz because I don't have a whole lot. Also, it is a styling protectant. It seemed to add health to the hair without any mess like sticky hands. I just had nice soft hair afterwards. I have used frizz-ease and biosilk and this product is better because it isn't greasy if you use too much. Plus it adds those extra heat protectant features. My boyfriend liked the smell too.
