I really like this foundation.
I bought it back in November of 2012.
I got the one in the shade N140
It works very very well.
It's not as full coverage as say, the mat velvet plus, but I feel that it is better for me as it does not have to much oil control.
It is quite sheer but also quite buildable.
I would say that it's light to medium coverage, mostly light but buildable to a medium coverage.
It doesnt last the longest but it look super beutiful on the skin and it looks very natural.
It does look HD on HD cameras.
I will warn you not to put this under your eyes or in areas with any wrinkles, as it does crease under there. Also keep in mind that I have dry skin, and it is prone to creasing there.
Overall I think that this is an awesome foundation when you just applied it :)

Just an average foundation. If you are craving this and expecting it to be a miracle, don't be silly, it is nothing special. I have oily skin, and I like a medium to full coverage. I guess I wanted a foundation that would make me look completely flawless on special occasions and this one seemed to have the most reviews claiming that it would. It is not any different from other foundation, For $ 40 it should be somewhat better, but its not. it doesn't control your oil, it settles into any pores or fine lines, and make me more oily throughout the day. The only positive is the packaging. I honestly prefer a tinted moisturizer to this. I will try the matte velvet plus next, but I won't repurchase this one.

It is the most money I have spent purchasing foundation, so let's just say that I expected this to make my skin look fabulous. And I really wanted it to make my skin look pretty. However, the reality is that is did not perform to my expectation. I tried applying it with primer, without primer, with fingers, with foundation brush, and just never seemed to get a "high definition" look. My skin has many issues including acne scarring, acne, and oiliness, so it is a difficult skin to work with but this foundation completely made it obvious that I was wearing a mask of makeup. I didn't like how super noticeable it made my pores look. It didn't blend in to my skin but rather sat on top. The positive is that I loved the packaging. Maybe it's for some other type of skin. Still looking for the HG.

This foundation is the best!! I always make sure I keep a bottle of this stuff around ( I mainly use this for the winter time and use matte valet plus for summer) it's very thin and it blends out really easily I use my elf stippling brush. It's covers a good majority of my redness and discoloration and gives a glow to your face :) this also seems to stay on my face all day long and doesn't get cakey or settle into lines... But the downside is its almost$50 so it's very expensive ( main reason I dont use it all year long) but other then that I love it amd I will continue to use it and repurchase

I had an associate in Sephora try this on me. I'm not sure if it's how they apply it, the lighting, or the fact that most liquids hate my skin (aka get cakey on it). I don't know. But this caked like crazy. I looked like I was in my late 30's because my skin just looked like orange crap. Yes it was orange, it settled into pores, and didn't cover healing acne (it wasn't that obvious before the make-up but it made it just shout out OMG LOOK AT YOUR ACNE). I felt like I had a mask on that was very drying. I have no idea why it was recommended for me as I wanted medium coverage and something that had more of a natural finish to it (it looked matte to me).

If I could write a novel about this foundation I would. This is by far the best foundation I have ever used. It is the only one I ever will use. It is medium coverage and it leaves your face looking smooth and healthy. This is one of the only foundations that doesn't cause me to break out. I freak out when i start to run out. I don't know what I would do without this miracle product.

This is the best foundation! I recommend putting it in with a wet beauty blender or a beauty blender dupe that works just as well. It makes my skin glow and I have bad dark spots on my face like freckles from the sun. My skin can get white and pasty during the winter with this product covers everything up the occasional pimples I get no one will ever notice! In pictures I love natural when really I have little to a lot of make up on there is no weird glow in your picture or cakeyness. You can put as many layers as you want and it will not get cakey !!! Te sponge and this product work ham and hand on an airbrush beautiful look good luck

Good coverage and color match. The pump is also extremely helpful. It is definitely a good foundation, I used up an entire bottle over the course of a year. When my skin started getting more dry I couldn't use it anymore. It looked extremely cakey and fake. Sometimes I pull it out for special events and I feel like whenever I sweat it slides around and makes me look like a greaseball. I don't know what it is but I can't get it to work like it used to when my skin was more normal. I think it is extremely hyped up, not necessarily the best foundation out there, but overall pretty decent.

I got color matched in sephora and when I got home it was way too dark and the coverage was terrible.. I still gave it a try and I really tried to love it but..I really don't get all the hype about this foundation.. the only good thing about the line is they offer a big section of color so if you have very dark skin you will be able to more than likely find your perfect shade

Holy moly! I like to look flawless yet natural at the same time and this foundation does it! It's medium to full coverage (more to full) and doesn't cake or scents or have any flash backs. It spreads wonderfully too. I use about 1.5-2 pumps and a buffing brush to apply it. I have pimples/scars around my face and this provides some coverage. It doesn't completely conceal it, but makes it less obvious to the point that it doesn't show up on pictures. It is a great foundation for photos. I use it for my photo day, graduation, birthdays..basically where a lot of photos will be taken.
Only con is that my face gets a tad shiny after 5 hours or so but i just blot it with a translucent powder.

Good coverage, buildable but it didn't blow me away like the hype made me think it would. Not my HG but I did like the product. Great colour selection as well.

I was using this foundation for a while, I was in shade 115 Ivory. I have a rather oily t-zone but i'm also prone to getting dry, flakey patches in certain areas.
The coverage was AMAZING! I could almost go without concealer. It builds beautifully if I use the right brush for a true full coverage. I loved the finish, it didn't give a completely matte/flat look but leaned to the more "natural finish" depending on the setting powder I used. My favorite way to apply it was with a Beauty Blender.
My main issue with the product was it's lasting power, it just wouldn't make it through a full day. I tried using setting sprays, primers, different setting powders but nothing would help! I almost felt as if my skin looked parched by the end of the day.
Overall I think it's great for a night out, but not for everyday use. I suggest getting a sample before splurging (:

Pros:
-Medium coverage
-Light weight consistency
-Great colour range
-Natural finish
Cons:
-Potential to look dry
This is a great foundation. It has a light consistency that is easy to blend out. It doesn't look too dewy or matte on the skin. The coverage is pretty decent, it starts out as a medium coverage and can be built to a full coverage. I can't really wear it in the winter though, as it makes my skin look a little cakey and dry. Even on normal or oily skin its pretty important to moisturize well before you apply it. It only really works on well hydrated skin or it tends to look cakey. Other than that, its a good foundation.

The color match was perfect. There is a knack to applying this, however. You definitely need a primer that is slick, like something silicone-based. You need a good foundation brush - no sponge. Then you gotta blend, blend, blend, otherwise the application will be streaky and uneven. The coverage is really good and breathable, but you need TIME.
Bottom line, this is a special occasion foundation - one where you are gonna take your time for photographs and long wear. This is NOT an every day, all purpose product.

I bought this because of mainly all the reviews and hype around it, but it just isn't all that great. It gives a medium coverage and the finish is dewy. Unfortunately, what i want out of a foundation is more matte finish, fuller coverage because I have very oily skin. I think the biggest drawback out of this is that the staying power is very weak. I mean within an hour or 2 i'm very shiny/oily and after a good 3-4 hours i look like a mess, with most of the foundation gone. Its not transfer resistant...at all. Even when i try talking on the phone for a minute, there is makeup all over the screen (and yes, I put primer on). Ahhh, what a shame. The only good thing I liked about it is that it looked like 'skin' so it had buildable coverage without looking cakey. And that it never broke me out.

I am obsessed with this foundation. Generally I don't like to wear foundation every day, I just put a little BB Cream and concealer and call it a day. However, this foundation blends so seamlessly, makes my skin look so flawless and feels so silky smooth, I can't resist wearing it! I apply with a sponge for every day, but with a flattop brush it looks amazing and airbrushed. The pump makes it easy to apply to the back of your hand before blending with a brush or sponge. The colors are great, even with my yellow undertones (most makeup is too pink), I could find a match. I love this foundation, and would definitely buy again!

Best foundation ever! My HG of all products, I love this foundation!! I have dry, sensitive skin & this foundation doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's build-able, so perfect for minimal coverage (for heading to class or work) and full coverage (for those wild nights out). This foundation looks so natural on the skin and shows up beautifully in pictures. I apply it with a damp beauty blender and it makes my skin appear flawless. As for packaging, I love the pump but wish it was removable (to get the very last product when you're reaching the end) and after having it for a while the cap seems to pop off in my makeup bag (very annoying). It could be cheaper but you get what you pay for, I feel like it's worth the investment (my last bottle lasted me a good 4.5 months or so).
Also, a big plus for all the shades it comes in!
