I find that these vary a bit in quality just like the e/s do. My two current favourites are hyacinth (a metallic, not too dark blue) and dig it (taupish silver, Shu ME #945 in pencil form). They both wear quite well all day without smudging. My blooz and tarnish kohl in contrast tended to wander off/ crease/ smudge. The price is good for the amount of product you get and there is a big range of shades to choose from. I will definitely buy more of these.

I had completely written off eye pencils until I tried MAC Kohls. I really love them, and they're one of the few MAC products that I check out immediately when they introduce new shades.
I currently own Prunella (deep blackened plum with subtle shimmer), Rosemary & Thyme (medium-to-light golden olive shimmer), Teddy (almost dark bronzey-brown with coppery shimmer), and Minted (deep shimmery emerald green with a touch of blue), all of which I would recommend for anyone with fair skin and dark brown eyes. The darker shades last all day on me, though R&T doesn't last as long.

I bought Tarnish 2 weeks ago, and Smolder yesterday. I love these!! They are the smoothest eye pencils I've ever had. When I get home from work, I still look as good as when I left. That's a definite plus!

WOW! I love these b/c I have small eyes and this liner gets in and ou so smoothly! The colors are VERY unique, I think I found my FAV liners!

MAC's eye khols have a wonderful texture that goes on smoothly without tugging at my eye area. I also like the fact that they have a wide range of colors. They are well priced too.

I tried these for the first time today and I'm sold! The color selection is fantastic and is a really good alternative to the generic selection of eye pencils out on the market. The texture is so smooth and the shimmer is great for bringing out the color of my eyes. They don't tug on my eyelids and line very easily.

It took me a while to go back to MAC for anything after the hideous experience I had with StudioFix, but their beautiful colour products have enticed me once again- for good, this time.
Eye kohls- I can't believe it took me so long to discover these. The colours are fantastic- I love Rosemary & Thyme, Dig It, Teddy and Tarnish- and the texture is so creamy and easy to use.

Mac eye khols are absolutely the best!! They are shimmery, which produces a depth to the line that can't be beat in enhancing the eye. They come in a variety of colors and are soft enough to apply without pulling the eyelid. That is HUGELY important to me as you don't want to wear and tear on the delicate eye tissue. And the smudgeability is superb for creating the smokey eye. Just easy, wear well, great colors and so inexpensive that everyone needs these in their beauty toolbox.

This is one of my favorite eyeliners. I have it in Smolder. The color goes on smooth, although it does smudge easily. Fun for Friday nights, but don't wear it to school because you'll need to touch it up frequently!

I have given up on all of their eye kohls except Teddy and Tarnish. Blooz and Hot Poppy didn't stay with me at all. They looked good when I left my apt but 1 hour later it was like I didn't put on any eyeliner. Teddy stays with me ok and so does Tarnish but I still am not a big fan. I've been using MAC and Stila e/s as eyeliners with better results.

These are fabulous, they don't smear or crease, they're easy to use, and they give me a gorgeous effect on my eyes. Plus, I'm super-sensitive and they don't irritate at all.

MAC eye kohls are great. They go on smooth (no tugging on your eyelid) and stay on all day, however, it comes off easily with eye makeup remover. The color selection is great and the price is on the low end of department store brands. Also, they seem to last forever. My favorite one is powersurge and I wear it at least a few times a week. I have had it probably over a year and there is still around 3 inches left.

This is the softest smoothest eye pencil I ever used! Eye pencils tend to drag on my delicate eye area but this didnt! It does smudge so you have to put eyeshadow or powder over it. I would like to try it in other colors.

I love these! Long lasting, great colors. You can smudge them for a smoky look or leave them smudgeproof. The best colors for me are Teddy (dk brown w/ shimmer), Tarnish (dk greenish charcoal) and Prunella (Plum/brown mix). Would buy these over and over again!

Wow! Why did it have to take me so long to find these? I recently bought Foxy Lady (only $11.50!) and I love it! Foxy Lady is a wine/burgundy color with shimmer and works really well with a pink or light blue shadow. I love the consistency too - I'm off to find Phone Number (black w/ sparkles), Rosemary & Thyme (green) and Teddy (brown).

I got Smolder, the color is a blackened green, it totally smudged on me and didn't last at all. If you are a pencil liner wearer this is for you. Great color selection and not bad price.

Just bought my first MAC eye khol in Foxy Lady the other day. I LOVE it. I have very oily skin and it stays in place whether you to smudge it out or not! It really rocks on brown eyes! I will buy Rosemary and Thyme, Tarnished, and Teddy next!

I have this liner in RoseMary and Thyme and it's the BEST! I have green eyes and this really brings them out well. I can't wait to try more MAC liners! :)
