This smells really good and it's not sticky on your hair or your hands. I use this on damp hair to prevent flyaways. Just rub some between your hands and smooth over hair. Very effective, cheap and gives a nice scent.

This stuff is great! Tames curly hair frizz..and then when i straighten as opposed to making my hair feel fried, it makes it feel soft and smooth and looks shiny.

This was really cheap -- got it for about 2 bucks with coupon. But it's worthless if it doesn't work. And it didn't for me. I have thick, coarse curly/wavy hair (total opposite to fine hair) that I blow dry straight and flat iron. This did absolutely nothing for my massive frizz and it gave my hair a crunchy blech feel. I really wish one -- just one -- of these Garnier cheapies could work for me, but they just don't. Still, it's so cheap, it's worth a try to see if it works for you.

i like this stuff, it smells good like the other fructis products and it smooths out my frizzies on top of my head. it does make my hair feel heavy though so i took off one lippie.

I had this product for awhile back, umm about 4 years ago? I haven't been much into styling products since I rarely need them. But i did buy this, because I had some frizz and flyaways that needed to be tamed. It was my FIRST Anti-frizz product and it worked pretty well. I liked the smell, and you couldn't really ever put TOO much on. I have oily hair near the scalp but slightly dry on the ends. So I usually added it to my ends to give it moisture and near my scalp to tame flyaways. It works pretty well, but the hold is very light, so I advise getting something a little stronger.

HG antifrizz smoothing product! i have used this for years and ever since my hair has always been smmoth and sleek and shiny. i used to have a terrible problems with terribly unruly wavy hair not being able to hold curl or straight in the slightest humidity or drizzle and even while washing dishes for a few minutes over a hot sink. with this my hair has never frizzed out EVER. this product delivers and my hair is in the best shape since using this. plus its only 3 of 4 bucks a pop. i will never bother trying anything else, this stuff cant be beat.

Love this product, nice scent and I love the bottle it comes it. Tames my frizz and doesn't weigh it down or leave a greasy residue. Makes straightening a lot easier, too. I'd definitly buy this again.
Edit: It stopped working after awhile...I don't know if my frizz got worse or my hair got too used to this product. I wont buy this again.

I have tried so many anti-frizz products, I have wasted sooooo much money trying to find the best for my hair. I have been using this for almost 2 years and it has always been fine. At one time I thought there might be something else, so I tried a gazillion products. In the end I came back to this. They could repackage this, give it a designer name and quadruple the price and I would still buy it. It is the only anti-frizz I have ever used that didn't feel greasy, leave a residue or dry and flake off. Not to mention it tames my naturally curly hair. I have found the best way to use this is to apply it on towel dry hair and work in through with my fingers while my hair is still damp, then I apply more to the ends of my hair. It immediately calms any dry, flyaway ends. I then follow up with a light hair spray (Pantene works best for me) and then I use a diffuser set on low heat. It is the best combination. I also love the fact that this Smoothing Milk is not sticky in any way. I hope and pray they ndever stop making this, I would be devestated!! My only wish is that it came in a pump.

This stuff is amazing, it gives texture to my super soft fine hair. It also gives shine and smooths it all down after blow drying my hair.

I have THICK wavy hair and it is soooooo frizz- prone! But this stuff moisturizes and takes away the frizz. Plus it makes my hair really shiny.

I bought this on a whim because it was so reasonably priced. I was disappointed with everything about this product. There is nothing 'smoothing' about this gunk. It smells really odd, and leaves my hair looking & feeling dried out. For reference, I have long, color treated hair that is somewhat fine, but prone to dryness at the ends.

Too greasy overload for my fine hair even if I use the *tiniest* bit, wet or dry. I've seen some people use this for flat ironing but this isn't recommended as it doesn't contain a heat protectant.

Okay.. so when I had long hair (about 8 inches past my shoulders) this stuff was FANTASTIC. I have wavy/curly hair that is a bit spazzy. Sometimes it's really curly and sometimes it's just wavy. I don't understand it either. Usually I'd put a good sized amount in my towel dried hair. Then about half an hour later, I'd put in another good sized amount. This would result in practically frizz-free, smooth, gorgeous hair. Unfortunately, I got my hair cut and now it barely brushes my shoulders. The curls and the waves don't form for some reason with my shorter hair, so this did nothing. My hair just dries all weird and not quite straight but not quite wavy. I'm still looking for a good product!

I could make a list of things I hate about this product. It's sticky, and when my hair is straight it feels like i have a layer of wax in it. Yeah its shiny, but touchable? not at all. I wouldn't let anyone get their hands within 20 inches of it unless they had a butter knife in their hand, and were going to scrape all the wax off my hair cuticle. Another thing I hate about this product is the bottle it comes in. You have to fight with it to get the littlest bit of product out, like i feel like doing that at 6 in the morning. I only use a dime size amount, and my hair feels gross gross gross. I hate it.

I had some doubts when I bought this. It says "strong hold" on the packaging and I was afraid it would make my hair stiff. What's more, it's even cheaper than crappy Pantene products. However, it keeps my hair sleek, moisturized and straight (I naurally have straightish hair but still want to hold the shape better), without turning it sticky, stiff or greasy! It certainly gives only the very slightest hold instead of strong hold. It's easy to apply/spread and wash off. Smells refreshing and yummy too. Highly recommended.

This product won't work miracles (it says "Smoothing", not "Straightening"), but it definitely keeps my hair from getting frizzy and poofy. It's best used on mostly dry hair.

This product does smooth my hair. I have straight semi-thick hair, and it works well to smooth the ends of my hair. I tried to smooth down fly-aways on the top of my head, and it seemed oily/weighed down a few hours later. I'm not sure if I'll buy this again.

I seem to be in the minority with this product. I found it did absolutely nothing to smooth my coarse, thick, wavy hair at all, no matter how I applied it. I wasn't looking for a straight, slick style--just something to take away a bit of the frizz and flyaway-prone look the top layer of my hair gets. When I applied it to damp hair, my hair ended up looking and feeling a little greasy, but still frizzy and flyaway. When I applied it on dry hair there was no change at all in texture or appearance, no matter how much I used. And the smell is overpoweringly perfumy and does not fade substantially over time, so, if you don't like it or don't want it to clash with your fragrance, you're out of luck (I'm in the former category). Garnier does get points for packaging--the pump dispenser is just right for this type of product, but that's the only good thing about it.

I love Garnier products, but I do not love more than their Smoothing Milk! This stuff is wonderful and even helps straighten my hair faster than any other brand with straighteners. I have very long, thick, and wavy hair that takes hours to straighten. With this, I can acheive straight hair in less than one hour! What I do is to let my hair air dry, until completely dry. Then, I take the Smoothing Milk and apply. Next, the flat iron comes to tackle the kinkiness, and hooray, straight hair! :) Totally recommended.

after using this thing for a few times, i realized it was weighing my hair down. and the milk left a sticky film on my palms after applying it on my hair
