I bought the powder because I really like the concealer. However, I was slightly disappointed. It makes my face looks too powdery and I like it to be more sheer and tranparent. The packaging comes with a very cute pouch bag which is a plus. I will finish using it but won't buy it again.

I recently purchased this, their foundation, and concealer and wasn't too impressed. The concealer and loose powder are decent, although they're ridiculously overpriced. I'm a MAC C3, LM Sunny Beige, GA #4, Becca Olive and purchased their loose powder in Ginger. This is very finely milled and set my foundation adequately but it was no better than other cheaper powders I've tried. For almost $40 USD, I was expecting more.
Finally, Becca has a distict signature fragrance that they use in all of their cosmetics that I can't stand. It's very strong and doesn't fade!

I LOVE this powder...I've generally tried to stay away from powders as I think it looks quite fake to have completely matte skin (and b/c I have dryish skin everything looks matte). This just sets my makeup and looks completely natural! I have had no breakouts (I'm still very breakout prone) or reactions (I get hives very often). I love this!

This is a lovely powder. For some reason I always thought I would use wheat in this, until I checked out the actual items at sephora. I have a light tan yellow-olive skintone and mocha suits me perfectly. It is so sheer, it works wonderfully with any foundation. This will always be a staple for me. I plan to try many more products from the brand. EDIT: I have realized that Mocha or Wheat work for me since this is so sheer. HHH, Mac C40, GA 6.5, Becca Honey. Light tan olive skintone.

Sigh~ I've been through turbulent times with this powder. It was my very first powder and I loved it, but I wanted to try something new and got Armani. Armani's was nice, just as fine but much lighter (in weight). After deciding to swap this away for the latter, I looked at Armani one more time and decided that it wasn't the one (I think it was the shimmer); so I swapped that one away and kept Becca. After that came T. LeClerc, and while great in it's own right, their foundational shades made my skin look really flat (too matte; the corrective shades are ok though since they impart some kind of colour), and that's when I decided to stick to this. This had been perfect from the beginning. It's also creamier (i.e. moisturizing) and more smoothing on the skin than the other two brands. It's also great for that dewy look as it doesn't completely mattify your skin. I'm a NW20 and alternate between Sesame & Ginger (hey whatever's available!)

I live nowhere near a Becca counter and after a lot of time reading online reviews and looking over colour charts I went ahead and ordered this powder in Eggshell. I think it's a good match because it sinks in well and is not too pale even though it's slightly paler than I though it would be. However, I was just reading in a Becca insert that the correct loose and pressed powder colour is generally lighter than you'd expect, since it's not meant to darken or alter your foundation colour. So I think that my shade is right. That said, I really love this powder, it's so so finely milled and silky that it sinks right into my skin and renders it flawless. I apply my powder with the included puff, and pat it in as well as I can with the puff. Any excess I wipe off, but there's not usually any excess. At first my skin looks really matte, but with a half hour it just looks flawless and stays like that for the rest of the day. A very very good finishing powder this is and the best thing about it, is that it just makes me look like I have great, smooth flawless skin. (MAC N1, BB Porcelain, Becca LSC Sand/Cashmere)

I have been using this powder in the color wheat (a light-medium yellow-based tone) as a finishing powder over liquid foundation for the past few months. Prior to using Becca Loose Powder, I have skipped this" makeup step" for years because I haven't been able to find one that was not too matte or powdery looking on me. I have found this powder to look very natural and actually improves the look of any foundation that I have worn under it. I apply very lightly with a powder brush, rather than use the puff, and it really helps to improve the look of my complexion. I don't have oily skin so I can't speak to the oil-blotting benefits. The container could be better---it's a bit awkward to use without spilling excess powder upon opening it. I would buy this in the future but it will probably last quite awile with only a light duting used per day.

I'm using this in Sesame (I am MAC NC20-25, GA4, LSC Cashmere). I just love it--it's extremely finely milled and will last forever. Helps you retain the glow of the LSC. Downsides: Ungodly expensive; the container is unfriendly for travel/spillage. The beauty of luminous skin outweighs the downsides, though; I won't give it up!

UPDATE*** It's now June and while I haven't tanned my skin has got just that little bit more colour now. This powder is so perfect! So light and natural, beautiful finish and no breakouts whatsoever. I still have to blot off shine a couple of times a day but I'm not so concerned about that anyway. Will definitely repurchase unless something "new" tempts me to stray by the time the giant tub runs out! PREVIOUS REVIEW: I bought this in "wheat" after browsing at the Becca counter and testing both "wheat" and "sesame" on my hand - "sesame" looked a bit white and ghostly although I would have expected it to be a closer match. Well you never know. Anyway, turns out "wheat" is a tad too dark, especially since I am now at my very palest (end of winter, pre-spring). For this reason only I am not using my Becca powder quite regularly but will start using this as soon as I pick up a little colour. (FYI I wear GA LSF in #4/#2 now but will probably just wear #4 later in the spring). The quality is high, it controls oil adequately (but then nothing can ever totally eliminate the shine on my face while at the same time being reasonably forgiving on dry patches!) The packaging absolutely sucks as most people have pointed out. On balance, I may buy this again but I've yet to try GA loose powder so will withhold judgement for now. I would, however, choose this over Chanel purely on the basis that Becca shades are much better.

(sigh). I so wanted to love this product. I ordered it in my pre-MUA days according to the reviews I had heard on the cosmeticconnection.com web site. It took me a long time to be able to afford both the concealer and the powder, but I was finally able to place my order. When it came, I was so psyched...the concealer I had ordered (Nougat) was actually a shade too LIGHT for me (something that has never, ever happened before) but still looked good. When I applied it and the powder, I was just so happy, it covered redness and undereye circles beautifully. I truly thought I had found a HG powder and concealer. Then the hives started to appear. Inocuous looking at first, I didn't connect it to the makeup right away. The hives started on my face and moved slowly down my body...I tried to ignore it but my friends took one look at me and asked when I had contacted the plague. They insisted I go to the ER, since I was getting blotchier by the minute and it was getting hard to breathe. I spend 5 hours there that night, and the docs came back and asked what I had done differently in the last couple days, since it was clearly an allergic reaction. BECCA was the culprit. I had to send it back, glad that we had found the problem but very sad because it was probably some of the very highest quality makeup I had ever used. Incidentally, my skin is almost always clear, and never flaky...I have had one (small) blemish so far this YEAR from talking on the phone at work. And I have never been allergic to anything before. While I have never heard of any other reactions like mine to their makeup, please use caution and test before you try...I can't even begin to tell you all how frightened I was when I wasn't sure what was making my skin react that way. (Identical post for concealer).

I love this powder!! I never used to use powder, but now I'm a changed woman! I have really dry cheeks, and it doesn't accentuate the dryness AT ALL....in fact, when I put on my tinted moisturizer (i use clinique's almost makeup) and then becca's powder on top, my skin looks flawless and perfect - absolutely gorgeous!! I've had so many compliments on my skin since. And it doesn't even look like you are wearing make up (which is the most important factor for me). It DOES spill fairly easily, but I think its because it is so fine and light, which is the thing that makes it work like magic. I use Mocha, but find that it gives me a more tanned, bronze look (i have not too dark, not too pale asian skin), which IS a nice look, but I probably would prefer slightly more whiter cheeks, so i might try Wheat next time. Definitely a great buy!!
UPDATE: I have exchanged mocha for wheat already, and find that its a bit more cakey??? Don't know why??? So disappointed...maybe Mocha is better for me....

I was originally matched with Sesame but they ran out when I went to buy it. The MA says that Bisque has the same lightness as Sesame but is pink rather than yellow. My skintone has a bit of both colors so I bought Bisque. It has great oil control properties when used in conjunction with other Becca products. I have yet to try this with my Armani MSF. I will update. Use a light hand with this powder. I made the mistake of bouncing the powder into my skin and it was too much. Just a light dusting will do. While the packaging is really nice to look at, the plastic sifter lid isn't tight fitting at all so be careful. I didn't even bother to peel the sticker off off the holes, I just lift the sifter lid completely, dip and dust off excess. *Update* I'm finding this powder to be less and less oil controlling. Maybe the mattifyer is no longer working on me? Hmm. Too bad too.

horrible packaging! It is also VERY easy for this to get cakey, especially if you use it with a brush. But, if you sprinkle this onto a tissue, then blot the velour puff on it before putting it on your skin, it will set your makeup perfectly, and make your skin look and feel SO soft & smooth.

The best powder i have used! I even love the smell. Gives a nice natural look, not at all powdery and flat, just lovely light fresh coverage, just wish it lasted longer on my oily skin.

Great powder, goes on very smoothly and gives that healthy glow. Not sure if I'd repurchase this only because MAC Studiofix gives me a better finish.

This powder is very fine and silky, and doesn't over-dry my skin. The color selection is excellent, which gives me a very natural finish. The Becca scent is not for everyone, so be sure to test it before you buy. The packaging is horrible - spilling is inevitable. The best solution is just to transfer it to a $4 Sephora powder container.

I thought it couldn't get any better, using Becca LSF with my regular face powder (Px neutralizing powder), but yes indeedy, it has!
I kept wondering if it would really make a difference to use this powder, and I have to say an unequivocal yes! You have got to try this powder. If you were disappointed with the sheerness of the LSF, just know, that in conjunction with this powder, you will get the look of more coverage. The most interesting part about this powder is, that while you now have more coverage, your fresh looking skin just beams through. Your face will look so incredibly healthy, and again, it's not the makeup that you notice, you just notice this great skin!
I like the container and that when you open it, you'll see that the puff sits on top of a solid clear lid, separating it from the powder itself. It would be great if it had another option: a sifter so that you can easily get powder out and onto a brush, and also a way to shut the holes to keep the powder in the reservoir. As it is, you have to dip your brush lightly into the powder and inadvertently get too much.
I am MAC NC20, Stila C, LM Warm Ivory, Becca Nude and wear Becca LFP in Sesame...
Try this powder, you'll never go back.

Fantastic finishing powder. It's not completely matte which I like as I hate the powdery look. I only peeled a quarter of the sticker off but this is still not effective so now I just take the plastic lid off and swipe my brush on its underside. I have slight yellow undertones and I use Wheat since Sesame looked too ghostly on me. I wear Brulee in the Becca concealer.

very soft, almost moisturizing powder that dosent dry your skin. i use this in eggshell with stick foundation in molt but they dont have molt anymore. i cant think of anyother powder that evens out the texture of my skin and look so natural, so i might try with different shade of stick foundation to go with this...
