I got this at Sephora a couple months ago while in line at the cash (if I recall it was about 12$CAN for the small tube). I had previously used it as a primer before liquid foundation and seemed to be doing a good job of evening out my pores, but then again I bought it at the same time as the foundation and didn't know how much each were to be thanked for the good job.

I don't use either often (I live near the beach where it's super hot and sweaty all year long and just don't wear much foundation), but a few days ago I whipped up the primer by itself, curious to see how much of a difference it makes on its own. I did the cheek using just a tiny amount (you really don't need much!) and it instantly made the pores look 40-50% less apparent! I also did my forehead, half of it to compare, and it did a great job too. On the nose though I can't say I noticed much improvement. But anyways, considering my pores are pretty big around my nose and cheeks, anything to help cover it up a bit without foundation helps. I don't know how long it lasts as I don't constantly check in the mirror, but probably that with liquid foundation it stays put longer.

While not 100% magical, it's still a pretty damn good product, and albeit small, the tube will last a long time since you barely need any to make it happen. I recommend for those with large pores. Those who don't have much of an issue in this aspect don't waste your money, you don't need this kind of product for the difference it will make.

I like how my skin looks when I apply this. Very smooth and pore are reduced. But no matter how many times I try to use this I end up disappointed by lunchtime because my foundation separates and looks horrible when wearing this primer underneath.

i HATE this product!!! goes patchy on my skin and when i rub it in it falls apart like peeling skin or something!! it does nothing to my pores and doesn't make my foundation stick what so ever! would never repurchase so relieved i got it as a gift and didn't spend my money on it.

I was lucky enough to have a lovely MUA from Benefit do my makeup for my engagement photos and this was one of the products she used. It was the first primer I ever bought and used and I think it's fairly good but not outstanding. It comes in a tube which is great because I feel you can get more of the product out and it has a lovely silky texture on the skin. It has a slight beige color than just fades into the skin once it's blended in. I do think it helps keep my foundation on my face longer, but it doesn't necessarily control oil well. (I'm combo skin with an oily T zone.) it also has a faint fragrance that doesn't bother me and that fades away shortly after application.

Overall I think it's a really good primer and fairly priced compared to the competitors, but it's not absolutely life changing.

This is the only primer I use on my face. I've tested a few others, but nothing comes close to the benefit POREfessional!

It is silky smooth and application is very easy. It noticeably smooths out fine lines and does a good job at masking enlarged pores. I like how the product is skin colored and the texture of my skin after applying is amazing. My makeup stays on smoothly and doesn't slip away when using this.

I have been using this product for about 3 years now, and I simply can't get enough of it.

It is quite expensive, especially for the little tube you get, but the quality of the product speaks for itself.

Will repurchase again and again!

LOVE. I have large pores on my cheeks as well as some scars and pitting from old acne. This stuff is so smooth and creamy and it fills in my pores and scares like none other. It is similar to the smashbox primer with oil control and I like to use them together, I use the smashbox all over my face and then this stuff to fill in the pores on my cheeks.. I do not use foundation so I can't comment as to whether it helps it stay longer. Overall I love this product and will definitely repurchase.

I have combination (normal to dry cheeks, oily t zone) and sensitive skin.

The color of this primer is a light nude color but is transparent once blended in. I only used it on areas where I have larger pores such as my nose and chin. It blurred and filled in those areas. I noticed a difference right away. This product has been used for almost a month. I didn't notice any drying or cracking once I applied my foundation over top. No irritation or clogging my pores.

I received this product (mini size)in a small gift bag when a Shoppers Drug Mart had a cosmetic gala. In other words it was free. I would purchase once I run out of my freebie.

This primer is silky smooth with some color to it. POREfessional becomes transparent once blended in. I only use this (the littlest amount) on my nose, cheeks, chin and between my eyebrows. A little goes a long way. It really does minimize pores and helps my makeup stay on longer. I like this primer and will repurchase. I suggest trying a sample size first because you either love it or hate it. Wish it was not as expensive. But as always.... SUPER impressed with Benefit's packaging and creativity with names and ideas for their products. They are killing it and I love buying their makeup because not only are they always cute-sy but a great makeup brand.

This is an amazing product that is worth all the hype associated with it! BeneFit has only gotten better for me over the years. Between this and their newer mascara offerings I couldn't be more pleased. I use this under all my foundations as of late, be they drugstore or high end. It keeps my makeup looking fresh longer and that is a feat! I have extremely oily skin and still love to wear makeup. This anchors everything to my face beautifully. Blurs pores and extends the longevity of face makeup. I love this. The best part is a little goes a long way so I have been using the same tube for over a year. I will certainly be repurchasing. Well done BeneFit!

This worked well but the scent is too strong! It literally felt and smelled as though I had rubbed perfume on my face. The fragrance lingered for at least an hour, after which I couldn't take it anymore. It was so bothersome, I had to wash my face and re-apply my makeup. If you are at all sensitive to fragrance, get a sample of this before purchasing!
