BIG rave for Mineral Veil. It makes my skin look like porcelean - smooth, pore-free, and never cakey. I received it in a gift set from QVC w/ Mineral Foundation, Warmth, and a brush, all of which I'm in love with. This is the answer to perfect child-like skin. I just wish it weren't so darn expensive. Oh well, I think the set I have will last quite a while because I've had it for a month and have barely put a dent in my supply.

I love this product, and won't use anything else. I seem to have a problem with all liquid makeup, and I have tried everything from drug store to department store brands. They all cause me to have breakouts. This was the first makeup that I have found that looks natural, and that hasn't caused the dreaded breakout. For that alone, I love it. Though it's costly, I guess for that it is well worth it (and lasts a long time too).

Someone please tell me why I keep straying from this! This is my favorite loose powder. Nothing makes my pores look smaller, and nothing lasts longer. It gives such a nice silky finish and does not cause breakouts! Everytime I try another brand, I am always disappointed. This is really the only powder I should keep putting on my face!

I am not fond of this product at all. The packaging is awful. The powder spills and I always end up with more on my brush than I need. This did not make my pores disappear, in fact it made them more noticable. I have a feeling this clogged pores on my nose. I've stopped using it and my skin cleared. On a positive note, it is transparent so it won't interfere with your foundation and it does control oil. However, I will stick to my Almay pressd powder.

i was really surprised that there were people who didn't like this. but then i guess everyone has different skin reactions to products. but i loved it. but i don't like to use it alone. i have to use it w/ bare minerals foundation. i usually put the mineral veil first because for some reason i noticed that w/ this under the mineral foundation...it lasts all day. just on the pricey side.

I don't like this at all. The packaging makes it difficult to use (and not to spill it) and I don't think it "airbrushes" my skin and it certainly does not help reduce the shine on my skin (from the BE foundation). To top it off, when I use it, I break out.

just got this, and i like it a lot. it's very fine, easy to blend and gives a smoother appearance. i don't feel like i have makeup on.

This is a great powder for a matte finish look, the bad part is that if you have oily skin, you have to keep reapplying. That WOULD NOT be a problem if the packaging were better. This is powder, if you don't screw the lid TIGHTLY, you will have MINERAL VEIL all over your purse!!! This is best for dry skin not oily!

I'm amazed by this product! I absolutely love it. I use it in the morning under my foundation to keep oil at bay during the day. It is very finely grained powder, and it truly does morphe into your skin...like soft lighting, I suppose ;) ANYONE can use it, too. It is a light powder, but even my friends that are very tan use it and it blends in beautifully. It doesn't clog the pores, it's not cakey, it doesn't settle into fine lines!! BUY IT...go ahead, lol...just try it!

This is a great product. At 41 I still have oily skin with large clogged pores, and bought this following Leslie's promise that my pores would "disappear". Well, they didn't quite do that, but I really think I look "finished" when I apply this. It's light, clean-feeling and makes a noticeable difference. I'm on my second jar, so obviously I'd buy it again. Unfortunately the only way to buy this for me was QVC, with its outrageous shipping cost - but I found it on eBay for a good price.

I like this as a finishing powder but as far as skin wise I noticed once I stopped using it I stopped getting so many little pimples. BUT the products (mineral foundation and this) cover up my redness so well that I have to stick with it! For example yesterday at school I talked to one of my friends early in the morning (I had Almay skin stays clean liquid foundion in Buff on) and my skin looked ok. Later at the end of the day I didn't see my friend until the end of 4th period the first thing she said was ;"Dang! You're all red!" Nice huh? Maybe it's because I was laughing before she saw mw, I don't know but 1.2 foundation and mineral veil does keep my redness/oilyness under control. Even though it causes breakouts. I need a new HG help!

I am a BE junkie!!!! Love it! I've been using BE for 2 yrs now...would not go back to liquid foundation or be w/o my Mineral Veil!!! Leslie is opening a new store at the Mall of America...it's about damn time!

I have found my HG powder! Even though Bare Minerals foundation leaves me oil free...the mineral Veil makes my skin TOTALLY flawless and oil doesnt even have a chance! :)

This is a very nice soft smooth powder- but DON'T use this if you are prone to breakouts- it just feeds them. I stopped using this & went back to regular (talc based) powder & the blemishs went away.

This is a wonderful product, and I was pleasantly suprised of how much I really love this product. I was very doubtful when I purchased this over at QVC, but I love it. I won't go into to detail of the product, you can read the other reviews, but for someone who has oily skin it's perfect!!!

UPDATE: 12/29/03
I find that this product cakes on me. I have combonation skin, and I can not use this all over the face. I mainly now use it for under my eyes as setting powder for my concealer. So I am no longer giving this 5 lipsticks, but 3.

This product compares with my beloved Chanel powder, which pleases me as I am trying to switch over to American-made products whenever possable.
I'm in my 40's and cheap powders look like hell on me. So this will be my new staple. I'm enjoying most of the BE line right now.
