I bought this based on reviews here despite the fact that Maybelline foundations have never worked for me. I gave it a "3" overall because it did not work for me but might for someone else. It had a nice feel to it, light, and didn't need a ton of it to cover. Smooths over nice. It did feel a bit tacky after an hour on but not as much as say Neutrogena healthy skin. The packaging I gave a "5" because for a cheap brand, they actually used a pump and it works well! My main issue with this is that it gave me a vicious allergic reaction. But my skin is super sensitive and dry. I usually use Everyday minerals but was looking for something a bit more moisturizing. I literally wanted to scratch my skin off, even hours after removing it. My skin was red, patchy, and irritated after removal. Did not work for me. I don't know which ingredient did it but it was bad. Could not get past first use. I'm glad it only cost me $7 at the drugstore. It had a nice finish upon application though so I'd say if you have non sensitive skin, it might just be worth trying. If you have skin like mine, I'd skip it. Guess it's back to MMU's for me.

Ok, I just bought this product for the first time because my normal foundation was running low and I was looking for a cheap alternative. It was definitely cheap, in every aspect. I put it on this morning and by lunch, I was begging to get it off my face. It was greasy, oily, nasty feeling on my face. The color was a little orangy for my taste, but it blended well. I could see this foundation working for some people, but I want a MATTE look, and I thought I would get the "airbrushed" look like it said, but I just got a greasy mess.

I used this product about a year or so ago before. My current foundation was running low so I decided to try Dream liquid mousse out, not remembering why I didn't stay with it in the first place.. well, now I know why. Pros of this foundation is definitely the price and the packaging. The packaging has a pump, which makes for control, and the price is always cheap, usually around 7-8 dollars canadian, but there are always sales going on. On a downside, the colour selection is AWFUL. Every colour seems to have a very unflattering orangey tone to them and makes your face look a bit like a peach.. it's not attractive. The colour looked fine in the store, but when I brought it home, that was a different story. The foundation slowly drifted off my tzone during the day, so I definitely do not recommend this product to an oily/combination skin type. I would NOT purchase again.

Well, Maybelline has just served me a big old plate of humble pie in the form of this foundation. (See my scathing review of Dream Matte).I liked the color/coverage of Dream Matte, but couldn't deal with the ridiculous flakiness, so I tried this -thanks to the advice of another MUAer.Love it! Love it! Yes, I am digging the DS foundations. Sheer, smooth and gorgeous on me when a strong Matte powder is applied over top. Needs serious blotting and repowdering during the day for me, but does NOT flake off, or break up from oil. No breakouts! Strange, it looks best on me applied with fingers....I really prefer brushes, but I like the sheer glow from rubbing it in. I was so scared by the peach looking color in the bottle, but somehow, it looks great and natural on my face. This is not long wearing, not heavy coverage and not matte. If you want those things, this is not for you. I could absolutely not wear this without powder.

This was almost perfect. It applied and blended well, looked natural while providing good coverage, did not emphasize dry areas or look cakey, fairly inexpensive, comes in a cute, to me anyway, bottle with a pump, and has ingredients I have no problems with (though those who have issues with cones may want to stay faar away) My gripe... this is so. darn. pink. I have strong yellow undertones. I've tried many foundations and the only shades I can say I'm satisfied with so far are MAC's NC44 and NARS Syracuse. y'all know how yellow those run. After some research I decided to try Honey Beige, which looked all sorts of wrong on me. The next shade up, Caramel, was too dark. And pink. The next shade down was too light. And pink (but a little less so than the others!) Mixing didn't help. People with pink, or neutral leaning pink, undertones may be able to wear this, but sadly I cannot, just like I can't wear 3 other of Maybelline's foundations which formulas I really liked but had a crappy shade range. I wish Maybelline would add more yellow-toned shades to this line :\

This is only the second foundation I've bought, but I really really like it. I have generally good skin except for some issues with ruddiness, and the coverage is just right for me. I would say it is light to medium coverage (very buildable!). It makes my skin look flawless (I get tons of compliments on my skin) and has a nice dewy finish- the look is more natural than "made-up". A little bit goes a long way (two pumps is normally enough for my face and neck) and I can see my bottle lasting for a long time, which is nice since I'm definitely on a budget. As for other reviewers' complaints, I haven't had any problems with oiliness, but I do have naturally dry skin. Similarly, the shade "porcelain ivory" (light 1) is perfect on me, but I have pale skin with peachy undertones and I can see how it might look orange on someone else. Love the pump--why don't all bottled liquid foundations have pumps???*UPDATE* I'm about to finish my bottle and have been looking for a replacement foundation. Since I now have a "big girl" job, I decided to splurge on a high end foundation. Well, after trying on several foundations at Sephora (including Make Up For Ever HD and Bobbi Brown) and the MAC counter, I am even more impressed by Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse. While I did find a color match at MAC (NC 15), almost all other lines ran too yellow for my skin. I hated the smell and feel of the two MAC foundations I tried, and generally couldn't find a foundation that covered as much while still looking natural and dewy. It may not be a great fit for everyone's needs, but I think it is way underrated. Changed my overall rating from a 4 to a 5... I really can't find anything better and it's cheap and easy to find.*ANOTHER UPDATE* For everyone complaining about this foundation--liquid foundation is best for dry skin, and powder foundation is recommended for oily skin. If you have oily skin, STAY AWAY!

Love the coverage or look of this foundation as soon as you put it on. But after an hour or two your skin gets super oily! Even with a primer and setting powder. Also it comes off way too easily, if you touch your face at all it will come off.

I love this product! It gives great coverage and an airbrush finish. One of the things I can't stand about some make-ups is looking at someone up close and seeing a cake of powder on their face. This foundation is perfect for avoiding that when worn on it's own. I have to admit, by the end of the day my skin looks a bit oily but it's a trade-off for the flawlessness it provides most of the day. The range of colors could be better, but I found that mixing a smudge of Dark 3 with Dark 2 gave me the perfect blend for my skin tone. All things considered, I'd give it 4.5/5!
