I'm an NW20 & I bought Light 3.5 - which is a teensy bit too dark on me, but I can get away with it.
I love the texture of this. I often have problems with oil-free foundation showing my dry/flaky patches; this one doesn't do that to me.
I have pretty sensitive skin & this did not irritate me.
Definitely a decent foundation at a very good price.
UPDATE: This might finally be my HG foundation. Yahooo! Now Maybelline - you better keep this stuff around for a while. You discontinue your good foundations constantly. Hmmpf!

UPDATE: After using the Studio Sculpt for a few weeks, I've returned to this. This really won't work unless you have VERY dry skin - which I do. This makes me look far younger than the Studio Sculpt. I apply it with the 187 and I can't put it on my chin because it clogs.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I have very very dry skin and some fine lines, so this seemed like it would be a good match for me. I bought it for somewhere in the vicinity of $8 which is great - makes me feel better in this economy. Overall, I really like it! It does blend very nicely and my pores are much less noticeable. It also stays "moist" on my skin, even with setting powder, which is good for my dry skin but also slightly uncomfortable, hence the lippie off. One thing that really made me like this product was that I tried it on my friend when she came and visited with me. She is also starting to have some fine lines and she was wearing BE. I couldn't help but notice that she looked so much older! (Gosh, I hope she doesn't ever read this...) I applied the Dream Liquid mousse to half of her face and she immediately looked 5 years younger - huge improvement! Bottom line: good drugstore option, great for dry skin, finish is a little too dewy for all skintypes.

I've got this product but it's a little different here in Belgium, it is called Dream Satin Liquid. But it looks the same, so I guess it's not so different from this one.. :)
I think it feels very softly and comfortable! I like Maybelline specially for the colour. But it also covers very well and my face looks very even. Where I'm not so happy about is that it's quite shiny on my acne-skin. And it's not so longlasting, I think. But I'm wtill going to use it, it feels very fine and has a good coverage.

Pros: Great coverage, great color for my skin tone, didn't make me break out
Cons: I think this made my oily skin worse :( too bad cause there were so many positives!
I think this is a great ppl for dry skin, but I would steer clear for people that have oily skin!

within the hour of applying this foundation, my skin got all patchy and red. It's also a pain to clean off my brush. I do like the texture though.

I really wanted to love this foundation because the finish gave me the perfect airbrushed look, but I just counldn't get over the fact that it broke me out. I've been using this for about two weeks and I started to notice little under-the-skin bumps on my forehead. I also found that this has been making my skin oilier than usual and fades through the day. Plus it transfers like crazy! I will not repurchase because the cons outweigh the pros.

Since I have combination/acne prone skin, I was worried about trying this. I've been using Bare Escentuals for awhile, and I have been using all Clarins skincare for about six months now and my skin has completely changed...so I decided to check this foundation out.
I used the Shiseido mattifying veil underneath it, and I have only had to do one touch up of Clarins shine control powder for the whole day. Looks very smooth and flawless, just like promised. I got a ton of compliments when I wore this foundation! However I have gotten a few of those pesky under-the-skin breakouts, but not it's not terrible. So I think I'll just use this foundation for special occasions:)

Ok, so I am in love with this foundation. Love I tell you. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks.. no breakouts, no problems. I wear the lightest shade, Porcelain Ivory, and it's a good match for my pale skin. This does give the skin an airbrush finish.. and (on me) it lasts and lasts.. (without a primer!) so Im surprised to see some reviewers say it doesn't last on them. This stuff lasts for hours and hours on me.. heck I even did a P90X cardio workout with it on today (bad, i know) and it barely faded at all.
I just love the way this looks.. the finish and coverage are great.. it makes the humongous pores next to my nose practically invisible. I put my Estee Lauder DayWear Plus moisturizer on in the mornings, let it set for 5mins or so, then apply this with my Everyday Minerals flat top kabuki. Applying a little on the brush and buffing it in good on one half of my face, then repeat on the other side. If I need more coverage anywhere I'll take my Essence of Beauty foundation brush and use that with just a dot of the foundation on it.
Love Love Love.

I just bought this product over weekend. I have been using CG Aqua smooth and was satisfied with that but decided to give this a try; The "airbrush" results are what caught my eye. Well I can tell you I have combo skin and this makeup does nothing to the "airbrush" effect. It looks like your average liquid foundation from the start and goes on quite greasy feeling even though it says it's oil free. After about an hour I have to blot my face with a powder. I think I will stick with my Aqua smooth since it does the same exact thing and comes with an applicator pad, I hate using my fingers to apply make up!

Well well well. Looks like I should have read reviews first. I bought this foundation last week. When I first put it on, it looked great. Made my skin look really smooth and flawless. However, 3 hours later it had oxidized and my face was really oily. I was orange and greasy. It was like it was just sitting on top of my skin. I always set with powder, so I thought maybe it was the powder that I used. I also use smashbox primer and i've never had a problem with it. I tried 2 other powders and no primer and had the same result. I didn't use it long enough for it to break me out, but i'm sure it would have judging by the reviews. I'm pretty sensitive to products. So this was a big no for me. I should have known because the dream matte mousee in the pot also oxidized on me. *tisk tisk* try again Maybelline.

i LOVE this. it really does give you an airbrushed finish. it's lightweight, so it doesnt feel like you're wearing a ton. i love the packaging because i can just throw it in a bag and stuff when i need to travel around. it also gave me a matte finish, whcih i like because i have an oily t-zone, but after wearing it for 8 hours, it left me with no shine. love <3
will definitely repurchase

I bought this on Sunday - I was using Bare Escentuals mineral powder and ran out of that so I was ready to try something different. I wanted a natural look with minimal coverage as my skin is alright for the most part. I am African American and my shade is Dark 3 in Cocoa. My skin is oily in the T zone. I really, really like this foundation - the texture is wonderful and it really does make you look airbrushed. You absolutely cannot tell I am wearing make-up with this on - the coverage is buildable but be careful, it's easy to overdo it. It lasts all day on me and I do have to blot my T zone throughout the day to sop up excess oil but I have to do that anytime I wear make-up.
I paid $8.00 for one bottle at WalMart.
Highly recommended, especially if you have nice skin. It makes you look about as close to perfect as you can get without having your own professional make-up artist.

Price: $8-10 each depending on where you get it, I got 2 for $9.59 when they were BOGO at Walgreens.
Packaging: Love it! It's in a glass bottle and the color of the label is kinda beige, so I think it's classy looking. It also comes with a pump, and we all know how much we love pumps! It keeps everything so sanitary.
Texture: It's a relatively solid liquid foundation (does that make sense?). It's not as liquidly as, let's say, Revlon Colorstay. It's pretty thick, so I use a MAC 187 to apply this.
Pros:
--Very moisturizing
--Medium Coverage, could apply to get better coverage
--Matte Finish (initially)
--Great packaging
--The color match is amazing. I got Nude (Light 2-3?) and it was PERFECT!
--The price is great, especially when they are BOGO
Cons:
--Caused MASSIVE breakouts!! My poor skin was just recovering from my previous breakouts and you gave me NEW ones?!! WHYYYYY!!!!!!
--It lasted about 30 minutes on me WITH SETTING POWDER.
--It made me super duper oily, and I have DRY skin! WTF?
--It gets on EVERYTHING it touches. I don't mind it fading, everything fades eventually, but this is too much. It got on my BF's shirt after we hug, it got on my finger which transferred to my paper, it got on my clothes, EVERYTHING!! ARRRG!
Final Verdict: Oh, HELL NO!! Never again! I returned the ones I got and I rarely do that. The best thing I love about this is the packaging and how well it matched my skin. However, the 5-10 giant un-popable pimples I got from using this made me depressed. Now I have MORE scars to deal with, awesome! If you have normal-oily skin, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL! Stay as far from this as possible! You WILL become an oil slick. Try this at your own risk.

This is a decent foundation, and I love the texture of it. However, I can't tell if this broke my out or if I broke out from stress (I bought and first used this when exams started and I'm still recovering from the acne). I might try this again when my skin is consistently doing better. The coverage is great at first, but fades much quicker than other foundations I've tried. I've found two shades that have matched me..pure beige and the darkest light shade (3.5 i think). I love the silky feel of this foundation and one pump is enough to cover my face. However, my face gets oily much quicker and it fades by the end of the day. I will repurchase if I find that it does not break me out.
UPDATE: I tried this over spring break over the course of 4 consecutive days and have found that it doesn't break me out. Light 4 (nude) is a perfect match for me, and it still fades quicker, and makes me a little more oily, but I really like this foundation :) It covers well too

The liquid foundation really does give an airbrushed finish. I used it and immediately took a picture to see what it looked like and it looked like I had no makeup on and flawless skin. It matched perfectly. The only complaint I have is that my skin was oilier compared to when I use the mousse.

I'm not usually into foundations at all, but I must admit I really like this one! I'm trying to scale down my beauty budget and this products gives me the look I want at the right price. I apply w/ a SK Highlighting brush and get flawless application. Pretty good match for me, though not perfect-I'm MAC NC42, and I use the Honey Beige Medium 4.
Great alternative for when MUFE HD is not in the budget.

The word airbrush sold me on this product. I chose the lightest color as I am a PPP who usually wears the 2nd lightest in any line. I started to apply and went yikes because it was so much lighter than my very pink face, but then I realized it totally matched my neck.Coverage is medium to heavy and the result is, well, airbrushed. It is very, very nice. An almost unbelievable finish for a d/s brand. I would not recommend for oily skin as at the end of the day my dry (but well moisturized) nose was showing some shine. A keeper. Unless, you know, I find something else next week.

This foundation is the best ds foundations I have ever used. It morphs into my skin with the MAC 187 brush and wears pretty well. I have a good color match in the Nude 3.5 and there were testers available at CVS so that was a plus. I like the creaminess of the texture and the coverage is ample for me.
