The Tool I Can’t Live Without!
I know that headline may have thrown some of you dirty minds, but when anyone asks what the one skin care or beauty item I can’t live without Clarisonic is often at the front of my lips. As a licensed esthetician, beauty/grooming editor and product junkie, I'm often asked for recommendations - and this tool is great for almost all skin types and conditions.
It works like this; the device has a bunch of rotating bunches in concentric rings – kind of like the Pentagon. Those rings of brushes spin in opposing directions at sonic speeds, loosening desmosomes (glue that holds dead skin cells together) to detach old, dull-looking skin cells from your face to reveal your younger skin. It also causes a bit of microcirculation, giving you that “just )(#*@) flush! My favorite way to use this handheld tool…is to take a dash of Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, add a little water to make a paste, and work it into my skin with the Clarisonic. It yanks out blackheads and sebum (oil) to help prevent breakouts and evens out your skin tone. I can’t live without it. And if you have problem skin, neither should you! I have a longer review at my blog.

I have been using this for about a month with the gentle brush (white). Before I began to use this, I had irritated skin -- a lot of dry patches and flaky skin from the use of vitamin C and retinol products.
After using it for about two days, day & night, at 2 minute cycles, the dry patches and flaky skin were gone!
In one month of usage, it has given me evenness in skin tone. So far, I am not sure that it has prevented any breakouts or reduced the size of my pores (I still have lots of black/whiteheads). Maybe it will with time... Will update if it does.
One thing I love about the product is that I can use it in the shower. One thing I don't like about the product is that it's difficult to use on/around the nose area -- the brush is just too big for that area.

Worth every penny. This has really perked up my 39 year old skin. My clogged pores are greatly diminished, fine lines somewhat less noticeable and my skin feels very soft and clean. I use it for 2 minutes morning and night.

This is a must have for me. I debated getting this product for months. I have oily acne prone skin with major congestion. When I first got the product i used the sensitive brush, sensitive setting and the clarisonic face wash. My skin skin started to change, the congestion was coming to the surface but not being fully removed. I was a little dissapointed when i realized I should try the other settings.
I now use the regular setting, regular brush and an acne wash. I know this may be to much for some. Boy did I feel a difference. My skin is not perfect but when I don't use it I notice how much worse my skin feels. My greatest testimony is that i can no longer feel the blackheads on my nose, my nose is smooth not rough. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about consider yourself lucky.

I love it; this is the best skin care product I've ever bought. After about 2 months, my skin tone and texture have improved remarkably. I've had several people comment on my skin. If you have issues with uneven texture and redness as I did, I think you will find this is well worth the money.

first of i'd like to say that i debated for a long time(as with many others) before actually buying the clarisonic. the results did not come instantly(as with any other skin care products) but i used it for about 2-3 weeks now and i am loving the results. initially i was very disappointed because my skin started to break out with ugly pimples here and there. mainly on my T-zone. i felt as though i had wasted my money and bought crap. but i decided to give it a chance and continued using it. thats when things became better. my skin cleared up and became alot smoother. even the people around me noticed the subtle yet impactful difference. i realised my skin was just purging all the gunk under my skin which came in the form of pimples. once the purging process was over the result is baby smooth skin. i own the clarisonic plus with spot theraphy.
the spot theraphy to be very honest i feel doesn't do much. i don't see the "spot", which is a light scar on my leg, going away. and i've been using the brush with the spot cleanser for more than 2 weeks now...so yup...make your own judgement =/
For those with mega sensitive skin. i won't recommend buying this brush. even with the sentive brush head. it is still quite "rough" i don't have sensitive skin but i use the sensitive head and it took my skin awhile to get use to the brush. i use the lowest speed for my cheeks. medium for the nose and chin area. and high for my forehead. i find that is how the brush works best for me.
The brush i must admit is quite heavy and not that travel friendly with the carger and what not. But i am the kind that will go the extra mile for good skincare. so if you are like me just get a travel size bag for your clarisonic. that will solve most of your problems =) As for the brush head i must say i don't see it as much of a downer cuz i clean with normal bar soap after every use so it keeps it sqeaky clean.
i know alot of people rave that the clarisonic cleaning 6x more makeup than the trad method. but honestly i don't see that much of a diff. i tested it with half my face using the traditional method and the other with purely the clarisonic. yes, the clarisonic cleaned alot better and faster. but when i used the clarisonic to clean over the part of my face that was cleaned using the trad method. i found out that not much make up was on the brush. which means that the trad method is still ok. it just takes more effort and time.
lastly the price. is the clarisonic cheap? obviously no. is the clarisonic worth it? maybe. it really depends on your skin type. if you have severe problems with your skin and have the money to fork out USD225 i'll say go head. but if your skin is relatively good or perfectly fine. i'll say no need. its not that worth it. for me? i'll say half and half. its a luxury that i can definately live without. but honestly once you use the clarisonic, i doubt you'll want to change. =/
btw for those interested to get the clarisonic philosophy set. my advice? DON'T! you'll be wasting your money. just get the normal set. the philosophy product are crap. the moisturiser? go see my review. the cleanser? meh. it was ok. not wow. and it doesn't smell so good. =/
After using the clarisonic for a few months. i have to say i'm begining to love it more! i have a lot of issues with my nose. mainly the blackheads that never seem to disappear. The main reason i bought this was to get rid of my blackheads but during the first few weeks that i used it, nothing. no 'miracle' watsoever. so i was abit disappointed hence the 4 star. But after a few more weeks, it seems that my blackheads are 'surfacing'. its almost as if the clarisonic is 'vibrating' them to the surface and they just...drop? out...lol or if they just seem to be stuck on the surface i just pluck em' out and use hazeline snow to close the pore. mind you, my blackheads have been under my skin for many years and nothing absolutely no product out there in the market could get them out. so i guess even the clarisonic needed nearly 2 months to get rid of them. i still have a couple but they are all coming out soon and i have not been using my clarisonic daily cause i'm lazy. lol. Btw i bought the cleanser for oily/combo skin. the blue bottle. and like many have said. its not that good. the only thing i can say i really like about it is the smell. i love the smell. I can't describe it cause i'm just not good at describing scents. But the reason i don't use it is cause the first time i use it, it made my skin really red. and it burned a little. subsequently it got better cuz my skin was more used to the cleanser. but the cleanser does not foam so it is kinda harsh and honestly i see no 'special' improvement that it had on my skin. sooo...ya. not worth the money.
I hope my review helped with any of your qns regarding the clarisonic plus =) thanks for reading. <3 **changed my rating to 5 stars.

I bought the Clarisonic about one year ago and I love it. I use it 3 - 5 times a week depending. Usually I use it in the morning with a cleanser before I use an exfoliating scrub as I find using the brush tends to make my skin more open to absorbing products. So at night if I use a serum I will also use the brush to cleanse my skin. It is expensive, but if it broke down I would rebuy. I don't use it everyday now - I used to and didn't suffer any major side effects, I just changed how I wanted to do my skin care routine. If you have the money I say go for it. For the record - I have fair sensitive skin with rosacea on my cheeks.

Nervous though I was to spend so much money on a skincare product - the Clarisonic was completely worth the investment. Just 1 minute every morning and evening with the sensitive head and a little Cetaphil has made a big difference to the overall appearance of my skin - giving me more even skintone and less flakiness.
Every few days I use a little MD formulations glycolic cleanser beforehand - and this seems to really help soften the surface layer of skin and help the brush do its job.
I still get a little hormonal acne (under the surface bumps) but my skin tone is much improved - glowing even - and the little uneven bumps around my chin & cheeks have disappeared, as have the blackheads on my nose.
I purchased mine online from DermaDoctor with the international adapter kit - and just use a standard US to European converter plug. The brush takes a long time to fully charge (about 24hrs) but seems to hold charge for several weeks worth of use - making it convenient to leave in the bathroom cabinet. I drop the brush head in a cup of boiling water once a week to keep it clean.
Update: Still a regular user & still loving my Clarisonic. I really notice a difference if I stop using it for a few days - my skin just doesn't feel as clean or as smooth. After using the sensitive brush for a long time - I've converted to the softer delicate brush which is gentler on my skin with daily use and works well with my glycolic cleanser.
I've also purchased the Mia so I can take my skincare regime with me when I travel. The Mia has no beeps but the performance is much the same & the brush heads are identical - it's just a lighter more compact version with a much more travel friendly charger.

I've had this for a year and a half and it's still going strong. It keeps a charge for weeks, just like when I bought it. I still use it every day, my face doesn't feel as clean if I don't. I'm hooked!
I bought this about 9 months ago after waiting and reading lots of reviews. I was nervous to spend so much on a product and not have it perform. I bought it on sephora.com so at least I knew I could return it. I'm usually the person that will buy something everyone else loves, and I will hate it. But really, this is the greatest thing I have ever done for my skin! My skin glows, is super soft, and I have NO blackheads whatsoever! I used to always have blackheads especially around my nose, but as long as I use my Clarisonic at least once a day, my pores are clear. It doesn't seem to make my skin less oily, I still have to blot and put on powder during the day.
I saw the results after the first use, but I was still breaking out from time to time. I noticed if I did get a pimple, they seemed smaller and went away really fast. But within the last 6 months, I haven't broken out at all. My skin is 99-100% clear for the first time in a long time. I have went a day here and there not using it just out of laziness and I don't break out or anything. I just really hate going even one day without using it because I can feel the difference in my skin right away.
I use an oil-free moisturizer after getting out of the shower, and I never get dry patches or rough skin anymore, my makeup goes on so smooth, it's amazing! I hope my Clarisonic lasts for a long time because I never want to be without it, but I would definitely repurchase if I had to. I do wish it was more affordable so my friends and family would buy one too. They all seem interested until I tell them how much it costs.
