I used this when I had oilier skin. Now, my skin is more combination type. So I switched to cream cleanser.
But when I did use it, my skin feels really "clean" after each wash. It does keep my acnes at bay.
However, it is too drying for combination skin now.

I have oily skin. Not excessively oily but oily none the less. I have been using the oil free acne wash on and off for years now and came back to it after trying other products. If you do not have oily skin, BEWARE. This can be very drying if your skin is not oily. My skin sometimes gets a little flaky around my nose because of it, so you may want to moisturize. It definitely gives you a clean, almost "tight" feeling on your face after use.

I would not repurchase because this acne wash seemed to exacerbate my acne. Turns out salicylic acid isn't compatible with acne.

This is your best bet hands down if you are VERY OILY. Beware other skin types: this one is stripping. ***** EDIT***** I have stopped using this, because it became quite irritating. I have been using Nubian Heritage Black African soap for a year now, and I have clear skin. Never going back.

I have combination skin, and I've been trying to tame my skin. But I'm afraid that doesnt work with combination skin. This cleanser is a gel and is 2% salicylic acid. I only use this on my T-Zone, because my cheeks are normal and I don't need the drying. After using it several times and 2 times a day I began to get drying in my T-zone so I stopped using it and began using it once a day at night with my clean and clear continuos control acne cleanser(purple bottle) and it's worked great! Packaging is convenient; there's a pump to just quickly pump it out. I won't be byuing this soon because I still have alot left.

I used this years ago and I dread even the thought of it. This stuff is a nightmare. Not only did it dry my face out to the point that it cracked, but it made my acne worse. I hate the chemically smell and I do not recommend this for anyone trying to clear their skin. A total waste of time and money.

I had been using the Clinique liquid facial soap and it was great on my skin. I ran out and couldn't afford to buy it so I bought this product. I had used it in the past and I dont know why I bought it again. The first two days were great! My face felt soft and clean. I used the same routine and the third day I noticed I had small little bumps all over my face. By the next day it got worse. I am pretty sure it was this product so I wont be using it again. I might work for some people but not me. I will just have to save up for a different wash.

I've used this more than a few times over the years. Didn't think it was too bad. I think I like the smell better than the new redness reducing one.

I used it twice and had a terrible reaction to it. My face swelled up, especially under my eyes and now have a rash that can only be described as tiny pimples on my face, neck and chest. Four days now and the swelling is finally going down, but it is by no means better and considering going to the doctor. I am sensitive but never experienced anything like this before, it really scared me.
