This cleanser was alright, the smell was alittle weird but I didn't mind it too much. I felt like it didn't do anything for my acne. If you have bad skin like I do this is not the cleanser for you. But if you very slight ance for just a few blemishes this should be something you should try!

it really does stop the breakouts from coming but reduces just a little. i wash in the morning and at night. i don't like that after you wash it makes your face stiff. i glows up your face after you wash your face though. i like this product but it doesn't make my face feel fresh and cleansed. but it does work!

When I was in Asia this past summer for a vacation my face broke out with several huge cyst pimples starting from my cheek down to my chin. It was absolutely disgusting, looking in the mirror made me want to cry and of course I didn't get to enjoy my vacation one bit bc my face looked like a map with with mountain trails on it.

Now to the point, on my last few days there I went to a local spa that specialized in acne. Well what they did was used a needle to pop each and every one, yes, they popped all of them then applied a laser like thing to my face. This was the worse pain I've felt since having my ankle bone crushed, so painful that the boy next to me was in tears. Afterward, my face was throbbing, but they soothe it with a mask. The next day? No more pimples, lol, it was a miracle. Well this was the cleanser they gave me to use to prevent acne, over there in Vietnam neutrogena is the high end stuff. I believe they ripped me off, but this was okay. Nothing special, it foamed, it cleaned, didn't break me out further. I left it behind though because let's face it, no reason to bring back a drugstore product that can be purchased over here.

Would I ever buy it or use it here in the US? No, this is absolutely last resort stuff.

Well, I bought it on accident, thinking it was another cleanser.
When I realized it wasn't, i wanted to like this SO bad!
but I didn't. It has a smell that I don't like and also, it's a bit drying and after you use it, it feels like there's like a film? left on your face. I'll give it credit for cleaning off makeup, even though it's not the best at it, it was okay for it.
I'm not sure if this is the reason my skin is so bad now, because I used a new toner and this as well.

This burned my skin. Horrible red and itchy burns all over my cheeks. Every time I see this product I shudder at the memory of it. Horrible. I used it twice and binned it.

I bought this because I heard salicylic acid was good for getting rid of pimples, so I was excited to start using it. At first it was fine. I have normal skin with the occasional littlest bit of oil and this dried up my skin - maybe a little too much. My face was a bit tight, but I didn't mind all that much. (It would probably be great for people with really oily skin) What did bother me was the little red bumps that developed on my T-zone after about a week. Tons of them. I should have read the reviews first before I bought it. I've stopped using this and will not buy again. Ever.

This did absolutely nothing for my skin but dry it out to no end. If you have sensitive or dry skin...beware! This did not help with my acne at all either. It just made my skin feel very tight and dry. I had these dry patches all over my face for a couple days after using it, i think I musta had a bad reaction because that has never happened before. By the way...I have extremely oily skin....? Not a good investment. The only thing I did like about it was the packaging, the nifty little pump is great for the shower, other than that...NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I would recommend something more mild and gentle like the new grapefruit cream cleanser. Its awesome!

I've used this cleanser for years and had no problems. That is, until I started using a Clarisonic face brush. What they say about Clarisonic is certainly true, it has changed the texture of my skin to the point that this cleanser, used to good results in the past has now trashed my skin into an itchy, flaky, scaly mess! It's going to take me weeks to get back to where I was before I used this cleanser, and I'd only used it for two days with my Clarisonic when the trouble started.

I'm going to see if my sister wants what's left of this bottle, then I will never purchase it again.

Terrible. It did clear up my skin a little but at the same time dried it out to the point where it was scaly and flaking.

Hate to say it but it does the job. Since its a gel, it never feels completely washed off your face even when it is. Hate that. Foams and other cleansers give you a thoroughly cleansed feeling but this doesn't if you know what I mean. It does wash off foundation really well. And also washes off mascara and liquid liners (although NOT waterproof/gel liners). However, it does sting your eyes if you try to wash off eye makeup. Smell is whatever and doesn't linger. This cleanser is probably best for summertime since it does dry a bit..a teeny bit.
