I've been snapping up as many tins of LUSH's solid perfumes as I can in an attempt to find one that best suits me. So far, I've grabbed Potion and HIWTK and have Silky Underwear and American Cream on the way.

The only thing about this perfume is that it does not smell just like the Honey I Washed The Kids soap that LUSH sells. If it did, you'd see 5 lippies and not just 3. I am not a big fan of the citrusy/floraly undertones in this perfume. I wish the honey toffee smell were more present. I love the portability of the solid perfume tins. Now all I have to do is throw it in my purse or pocket and out the door I go, fully able to touch up whenever I feel the need.

BUT -- with that being said, I still wear it, I still think it smells nice...it's just not what I expected. Good stuff, I'd recommend it to others but probably wouldn't buy it again if that makes any sense at all.

The smell is so sweet, happy and uplifting -- think slight citrus, dulce de leche, honey... Very fresh and strong for a short while and then fades to a subtle, sweet scent that stays on your skin even after showering. The only fragrance I am comfortable wearing while breastfeeding because it's so sweet and natural and doesn't bug my son at all. Rated the packaging a 4 because having it in a tube would be ideal and it's in a little tin.

Mmmkay. I love HIWTK soap, and I really wanted to like the solid fragrance.

However, although it has a wonderful, honey/toffee/not to sweet scent, it lasts about half an hour before the scent is totally gone. There's also a slight soured milk undertone to it, which isn't present in the soap.

The price is cheap and the packaging is recyclable, but it is inconvenient to dig your fingers into the cocoa butter base to apply it.

This was not at all what I was expecting based on its name. To me, this smelled exactly like Strawberry Ice Cream Lip Smackers and was not soapy or fresh or anything I would call 'clean'. Nice sweet creamy-berry-vanilla, synthetic though pleasantly soft. Retails at $11 for a little tin that would probably last a year or more. The scent lay very close but lasted for hours. Not bad but not my type of thang. No sale, except maybe as a gift for the young daughter of a friend perhaps.

HG scent - like the soap a honey-toffee-sugar-a tad citrus-warm-comforting. A small tin (cute) but this is lasting forever. I bought back ups of this at the clean sweep sale and a few other Lush scent but haven't tried them yet - I am enjoying this too much!

I thought i loved this, but i am finding now that it definetly does have that odd, off, sweet synthetic smell underneath it all. The smell is close, but no cigar. The off note bugs me, so i wouldn't buy it again.

HIWTK solid, as has been noted by others, smells different than the soap. While the soap is a sweet toffee, the solid perfume is a bright honey-orange cocktail with floral undertones. The lasting power and throw is *fantastic.* Very yummy and extremely cheap!

I have to agree with the previous reviewer, this doesn't properly capture the yummy, playfulness of HIWTK. I get a strange sharp sweetness and again that synthetic rubber/ parrafin wax like note. The only LUSH solid perfume I like so far in Fever, which is a pretty good rendition of the original, I guess this is the problem of recreating a scent from a product rather than the other way around, it simply cannot be the same. After all I generally dislike all EDT , and always prefer pure Parfum and at a pinch EDP....

I love love HIWTK soap, but this didn't quite capture that scent to me. It wasn't as sweet, and didn't smell as strongly of honey. A bit of a disappointment.

Smells exactly like the soap to me only 100 times stronger which is great because the soap is really hard for me to smell. Such a nice comforting scent. I get a citrus note in it. Not really honey like the name would imply. Has nice lasting power also. Wish it had more sillage but.. it's a solid..so I wasn't expecting much as far as what others would be able to smell. I can smell it and I am happy with that:) I will update this after I wear it a few days but for now I am happy with this one.

I actually find this yummy scent lasts for ages! I applied it yesterday at about 10.30am and at 5 it was still there.

Its stronger than the soap - you dont need much at all - and i think its GREAT value if you consider that.

I managed to get one in the merry christmas box (they dont launch here in Aus till March 08 i believe) and will def re-purchase,

This is totally yummy and so cheap! It doesn't last all that long but at this price, who cares?!

I smelt all of them in the lush shop and this one is by far the best in my opinion.

This smells exactly like the soap but tens times stronger!! I am so glad that HIWTK is available in a solid perfume. The size of the tin is kind of small, it's the same size as the lip balms but it is very convienent to carry around in my purse. And like the other reviewer said, even with the lid closed my bag smells awesome!!! Technically, I should give this a 4.5 because the scent doesn't last too long on me. After about an hour or 2 I can barely smell it anymore. But I'm still very impressed with this product.

I am beyond impressed with the new LUSH solid perfumes. I bought American Cream & Silky Underwear first, and went back for HIWTK. This is by far the best one! Before using this I kept it in my purse, and even with the tin closed, my whole purse smelled like HIWTK. I put this on my wrists, and the scent lasts for hours. I can only imagine what laying the soap and perfume would do. If I ever use this up (the tin will last forever), I will definitely repurchase.

What a delicious scented perfume...too bad I had to pay way too much for a tiny little decant from the Lush forums. Lush should REALLY make this permanent because when I run out of my tiny spray I will be pretty sad.

I love this creamy toffee/caramel Bit O'Honey-like scent and am so glad to have won a bottle on eBay before the prices got too ridiculous. Why doesn't Lush just make this part of their regular fragrance lineup? It is beautiful, delicious and gourmand without being gaggingly foody. Sweet, but not too sweet. Fairly longlasting, not light, not heavy. I think this is my favorite of the newer, less-complex generation of Lush scents. Once my bottle is gone, will have to make do using Soft Couer massage bar as a solid perfume.

Ah, the infamous LUSH Honey I Washed the Kids scent. Whether it's in the soap or in the perfume, people love it. I have to say that they were right on the money with duplicating the scent of the soap into a perfume. It's pretty much the same scent. I am a little puzzled by honey being in the name of this product and as a description of its scent. Honestly, the Honey I Washed the Kids forum perfume does not smell to me like honey the most. It smells like a citrusy toffee with a slight fruity edge and a tiny hint of spice mixed in with a drizzle of caramel. Honey really is not the star player in this perfume, to my nose. I've smelled many honey fragrances, from blended with other notes to straight-up from-the-beehive-like honey. HIWTK is just not that honey-ish. I mean, you do have your different varieties of honey: wildflower, clover, orange blossom, etc. So maybe this perfume is meant to be one of those honeys and not a pure honey scent. Which is fine, really, because HIWTK smells delicious. There is a honeyed feel to the scent overall, I'll give them that. This perfume is sweet, but not heavily so on me. It doesn't really last that long, and for the prices it's going for on eBay right now, I really wish it would last much longer. I have to reapply a few times a day to smell it on my skin. Too bad this is not a constant part of LUSH's lineup. It would sell incredily well, I'm sure. If you like sweet candy-like scents with some caramel, toffee, and honey, make sure you get some. A very enjoyable perfume.

My DH got a bottle of this for me off of Ebay. And I LOVE it! It does smell just like HIWTK soap which is yummy. But the thing I love is that its an exact match for soft couer the honeymooner scent. Which is in the same scent family as HIWTK, Bee ballastic and ma bar. Just a richer creamier honey/toffee mixture.
The staying power is great and it lingers on my clothing forever. Which I like.
I wish this was easier to find I would have loads of it! I've tried several dupes but none compare to this. Its heaven bottled. A truly comforting scent.
I also use the soft couer as a solid perfume. And or base for this. If you find some get it while you can.
